I don't know whether this is the right forum to do this in, but i saw something like this in another forum.

The way it goes (from my understanding), is that we come up with characters and eventually when we think we've got enough, we write a story about them.

to start off, i need you to come up with characters with this format:

this is mine:

Name- porthole
Gender- male
Colony- L2
Age-17
Weapons- lots of types of guns
Bio- doesn't remember having any family, and doesn't remember his name. He was named porthole because he has the ability to connect different places together and travel through portholes. Doesn't have the will to live unless he's doing something.
When in battle he's merciless and ruthless, when not in battle he doesn't convey his true emotions.
Abilities- using guns and shooting dead on, making and travelling through portholes.

So that's mine. Once we've got at least 4 more characters we can start the story.

Bio:Lived with her grandparents ever since she was little, mother died when young and only has the pink heart charm to remember her by. Became interested in sword techniques and soon began training, becoming skilled very quickly. She is now on a journey to discover who she really is and what the world holds for her. Her name means honest child. She is a very open person and believes in showing emotions and living on them.

Ablities:Can be extremely dangerous with her blade in hand, can create giant shockwaves with blade and knows other techniques

yay!!!! i didn't think anyone would join in, keep it comin. Say how many more did i say i needed? i think its 3 more main characters. anymore can be added during the course of the story.

Bio: When young, taken with her twin brother from parents at age 3. The kidnapper then took him away and left Elyn all alone at an orphanage. Adopted by Mercenaries and assasins for a cover in a spec. op . When she became 10, she tried to, and failed to find her family . Trained in almost all ways of martial arts, fencing, horsemanship, and mercenary tactics(explosives, weapons, etc.). Found by Dr. Marion on L-1 colony.
During training to win the chance to pilot the gundam, defeated other trainees in matter of months.
However, Dekim decided to use the other male trainees on the other colonies and told the female doctors to eliminate the female pilots.
Most of the Doctors managed to escape with their charges and disappeared, but Dr. Marion escaped with the gundams and Elyn. Elyn was placed in cryo sleep for 3 years. Unfortunately, despite the assurances form the Dr., the Cryo sleep program did not freeze the body in suspension, but let the person dream.

* Creepy huh? this is kinda fun to write!

I wanna try this! And we need another guy I think. How else do we get our romance? I think I'll go into greater detail as well.

Code name: Gallian Kenn

Real Name: Derekai Zusa

Age: 18

Location: Dublin Ireland and then New York City, USA

Scientist: Dr. Gregory Mierkler

Eye Color: Violet with brown around the edges of his irises - entrancing!

Hair color: Light brown

Clothes: Tight black jeans, a button-up green shirt, and a black fighting headband with some kind of unidentifiable symbol on it.

Weapons: Sage Gundam, a long katana, and a .44 gun (Yuy-style). He also is a martial arts expert.

Bio: Derekai was born in Tokyo, Japan. When he was thirteen, his parents were slaughtered by ruthless outlaws when Mr. and Mrs. Zusa saw the gang running through a local park carrying an unconscious young girl. The outlaws didn't bother with Derekai and ran away, forgetting the girl. When she came to, and saw Derekai weeping over his dead parents, the pretty dark-haired girl fled from him.
Four years later, when Derekai was seventeen and had moved to Dublin to escape his sorrowful past, he met the girl again. Rosaan Tohai pulled a gun on him and threatened to kill him, and Derekai kicked it out of her hands. Rosaan fell to her knees, ready to die by his sword, but Derekai pitied her and insisted she stay at his house. For six months she spent all of her time with him, training with him, and inevitibly falling in love with him, as he did for her.
On the day Dr. Mierkler called Derekai to become a Gundam pilot and defend the Earth from rebellious groups forming in the colonies, he made a promise to Rosaan that when he returned from fighting in the Sage Gundam, he would marry her. He left Rosaan with the rose-imprinted ring he had taken from his mother's hand the night they had first seen each other and went to New York City in America to meet with Gregory Mierkler.
Exactly a month later, a message came in the mail for Derekai from Rosaan. Enclosed was her apologies for failing to continue loving him. She told him she had gone to find herself in France, amidst the chaos and straining hearts of war. Feeling betrayed, Derekai shed the name of Zusa and became the American-raised Gallian Kenn. Despite his anger and crushed trust, one thing kept "Gallian" from falling into despair and going mad.
Rosaan had not given him back his mother's ring.

Clothes: Completly black outfit (good for stealing things.)
Weapon: Nightstalker stealth Gundam and lots of grenades (minni may type) And a cool watch with built in stealth mode

Bio: Reku grew up isolated from the other children on the colony, He was born and raised on the L2 colony. On his nineteenth birthday his mother was kidnapped and his little brother was killed in a raid on their house. He was able to escape with his father the once former gundam pilot Duo, who was depressed at losing his youngest son. In turn Reku was able to build a Gundam unmatched in stealth operations almost like the one his father pilote so many years ago. He went out to fight his first battle against his father and was easily the winner. He has gotten leads as to where his mother is but so far they all turn out to be fake. He was able to secure a young man who knew something about his mother but before he could ask him about her the man disappeared. It seems he'll always be looking and he'll always hold a spot in his heart for his little brother and his mother..
