Although I've been able to find absolutely nothing about FMP (which is bad for business if you ask me, but nobody is) on ADV's website, I did come across this little tidbit on animeondvd.com

Sousuke (now spelled Sosuke) will be voiced by Chris Patton. I've never heard of the guy or seen any of the shows they mentioned, but for those interested here's some of the characters he's done:

Seishiro Princess Nine

Has anybody seen any of these shows and can tell me and other interested persons if he's going to be any good? The only ADV dubs I've seen were several years old and absolutely atrocious, but I've heard the Excel Saga dub is nice. Hopefully their casting and voice directing has improved.

Hmmm you never did see my write about Ushicon did you? ADV had a panel and I went in there with loaded guns on questions about FMP. Do you think they had any info at ALL about the production?????????????

Their excuse was that at the time, there was no info given to them, but its like saying HELLO! You guys picked this up and KNEW it was going to be released middle of the yr and yet you don't know who voiced what???

I don't really have any ADV dvds except for the 1st Nadesico and even that I haven't paid attention as to who does who's voice. I know Chris Patton goes to alot of cons but I never heard his voice. I just hope its not disappointing for ALL the dub voices.

Well the manga is way different than the anime. The manga has more comedy relief and is focused more on the school setting. The anime has a bit of comedy as well as seriousness. There are parts where its set at school but for the most, its either alot of mech fighting, or they are on the sub that they are stationed in or other type of military shtuff.

If I would've known that you wanted to see the series so bad, you need to speak up, I can make copies for you, you just have to set aside some time to watch it on your compy.

Vic was at Ushicon too but I never heard his voice in any animes, I think he's a noobie at this. He seems like he would fit the role for Kurz. I never heard Monica do her voices either but I know she speaks high pitched sometimes and Hilary, can't say that I heard of her either.

The voice actor of Sousuke, I have heard before in Rah Xephon. He is very talented, and ADV does nice work when they dub a show. So it should be good.

Managed to find a copy of the dvd at Akon!!! It's great great GREAT! Chris Patton is such a super nice guy (we got his autograph, too), and though he does, in the first ep, make Sousuke a little too conversational in a couple of scenes, by the end of the episode and all the other ones, I think he does a great GREAT job!

I highly recommend it!

You can get the June Newtype magazine and get the first ep preview dvd. THe full dvd of the 1st 4 episodes is due to be released on June 10!

*counts on fingers* June 10th is too far away! Its should be a crime for such good Anime have to wait sooo long before its releaced in the states! Though right now I am downloading the frist few Ep. of FMP from the net, but don't worry. I will buy it out right when it comes to a store near me, which should be on the 10 or around there. I just need a Anime fix, and I love FMP! Well that is enough b*tching.

Wow, I finaly get my hands on Full Metal Panic at A-kon and find a fanfic board dedicated to it! Score!

It's kinda funny the last time I was here this was a GW fanfic archive, and now it's...you get the idea.

Anyway, love the show. Can't beleive how quickly it jumps into things. Some of you seem confused about the English VAs, and I thought I'd shed a little light on them.

Like Black Rose I too got Chris Patton to sign my copy of FMP. He's a great guy who confessed that Sousuke is one of the best roles he's had a chance to play. And in my opinion he does a great job. So do the others mentioned above.

In English or Japanese Full Metal Panic's a great show!

Yeah my first purchase at Akon was the boxset as soon as the dealers room opened. I got a bunch of my FMP goodies (my FMP artbook, the t-shirt, calendar, and more) that I brought with me signed by Chris, Monica, and Greg. I also got to sit at Chris Patton's table during the Sunday banquet and was a really cool guy to just sit around and make idle chit chat with.

I got a bunch of pics taken of the gang while signing my stuff and got a group pic of them. I'll post a link to my Akon pics once I get the uploaded.

As for being confused with the voices, unless you watch ADV products, you would know what the VA's starred in. The only reason why I'm clueless is that half the stuff that comes out that they picked up, I don't care for the series. Aside from FMP!, I only seen Nadesico and BBCrisis but with the later two, its been quite a while since I seen them.

I just want them to get their ass in gear and release the 2nd dvd No.... I'm not asking for too much......why are you looking at me like that? Yes I do realize that the 10th hasn't even come yet.......... I want more! (even though I do still have my eps for my compy)
