Becoming ? Chapter 6
It had been a few days since Heero last came to see her. She constantly thought of the past, not knowing what had turned this man against her. She knew that she should not trust him but instinctively she felt something had happened to him. If she stayed with him maybe she could fix this. The last time she had seen him confirmed her suspicions.
Flashback
?It is so unlike Heero to behave this way? she thought, ?he would rather kill someone than capture them. This is not my Heero. Oh Heero, what has happened to you??
As if she willed it, he entered her room. She stiffened at his entrance. He was alone and quiet, but she sensed him. He hadn?t touched her again, or rather had her touch him, since that incident weeks ago. He had almost acted like he felt guilty about it.
This time was the last, except that with his silence, he brought her food. She began to eat and he watched her.
?Why have you done this?? Relena dared to question.
???
?Something must have happened to you for you to have done this to me.?
?Eat.?
?Please tell me. Perhaps I can help.?
?Help? Figures you?d say something like that? Heero mockingly glared at her.
?We don?t know unless you tell me!?
?You didn?t do anything, Princess? Heero spat at her.
?Then why do you act like you hate me so much??
?I don?t hate you, I have no feelings. Thanks to what that husband of yours did.?
?My husband?? Relena asked surprised.
?Yes. He killed my wife.?
With that statement, Heero walked out of the room.
Relena had several days to ponder he statement. Something was not adding up.
When he came to drop off her food a few days later, he acted if nothing had happened. When he opened the door, he found her brushing her hair again, like the time?Heero shut out the thought of what he had done to her. No matter how callous and rude he was to her, she remained calm and pleasant. It was really quite irritating. He found himself being nicer to her, even when his heart screamed out that she allowed a murder to rome freely because she loved him. The coward had not even showed up to try to save her.
Relena put down the brush and walked over to him. He suddenly asked, ?Would you like to look at a window for a minute?? Heero almost cursed himself the minute he asked. Why was he being nice to her? She was no better than her husband.
?That would be nice,? she admitted truthfully. It seemed like ages since the last time she saw natural light.
?I?ll kill you if you try anything.?
Heero did not even place a hand on her to make sure she did not try to break free. His shot was all that was necessary; he could kill her before she made it around a corner. He doubted she was stupid enough to try anything, anyway. He had been somewhat surprised at first that she never tried to escape, never cried, never pleaded with him to let her go.
Relena looked out the small, dirty window, enchanted by the lovely growth of spring. The grass had greened since her capture. The birds were out. She could almost hear them singing. It was a lovely sight. Relena stepped closer to the window and placed a hand on the glass.
Heero watched her transfixed. Something tugged at him. A memory long ago forgotten of someone he cared for staring at him out of a small window with a delicate hand pressed against the glass. He could not see the face, but assumed it was his dead wife. His injury had made him lose almost all of his memories, unfortunately including that of his wife. He wished he could see her face.
Heero snapped himself out of reverie and grabbed Relena?s arm. She looked up at him startled, but before she could say anything, he stoically said, ?That?s enough? and drug her back to her room to be left alone for the rest of the day.
The next day Heero returned, again with food. He had decided to move her to another room, one with a window so that she could look out. He had no concern that she would try to escape. He had no idea why he cared about her comfort. Strangely he felt that his wife would be happier with him for making her more comfortable. Once Relena was secured, he walked to the door, planning on attending to some of his other duties. He had almost reached the door when he heard Relena?s question.
?What was your wife like??
He paused at the door.
?Please tell me.?
?I don?t know.?
?Don?t know??
?I?ve lost a lot of my memories.?
?Oh? was all Relena could say. A long pause, and then, ?Do you remember what she looked like??
?A beautiful angel,? Heero said, still having his back to her.
?What else do you remember??
?Her smile could light up the room. I lived for her.?
Relena slowly turned around to find Heero had already left the room.
Later that night, Relena tossed and turned, trying to sleep, wondering what had happened to Heero. It didn?t help that a storm raged outside. Relena was afraid of thunderstorms. She could stare down the perfect soldier, but would hide under the covers at the first clap of lightening.
The blinding white lit up her room off and on for several minutes when Relena heard her door tick, and then saw it slowly open. Another flash consumed the room and for an instant, Relena saw dark unruly hair at the door. She heard the door close and then soft footsteps walk over to the bed. She did not need the next flash to know that he was starring at her. He saw her eyes open and then she sat up in bed.
?You are here? I mean why are you here at this time??
A long pause followed. ?I figured you couldn?t sleep so I brought you some warm milk.?
?Thank you.?
Heero sat the milk down on the nightstand. In the next flash Relena thought she saw a gash along Heero?s face. She reached over and turned on the light on her nightstand to see if it was just a shadow. It wasn?t.
?You are injured!?
?It?s nothing.?
?What happened?? she asked forgetting the situation and reaching up to touch his face. She looked deep into his eyes, searching for an answer.
?Does it hurt??
?Concern,? Heero thought, ?why would she be concerned about me? I?ve taken her prisoner.? Her moving her hand from his face to the back of his head interrupted his thoughts. Their faces were only inches apart with Relena still halfway on the bed. She pulled him closer to him and began running her hands along his neck and through his hair. Then, she leaned over and kissed him softly.
Heero was shocked. She should hate him. He had taken her away from her friends and family, threatened to kill her, raped her and now she was kissing him. She was looking at him strangely now as if searching for something, but Heero remained stoic.
This time Relena pulled him on the bed and flipped him over to where she was on to and kissed him passionately. Before he could respond, she was taking his shirt off, kissing his chest. Then, his pants were gone. In a matter of a minute, Relena had stripped her captor down to his underwear. Suddenly, she sat up and looked at him while she took his hand and placed it at the hem of her nightgown. Keeping her hand on his, she slowly moved his hand up her body so he could feel her while taking her nightgown off.
This seemed very familiar to Heero - the kiss, the nightgown, her body. He flipped the princess over on her back and with one hand pinned her arms out above her. He greedily and roughly nibbled on her breasts. Then, he suddenly shifted so that he could use his other hand to finger her.
?What would your husband say if he knew you willingly seduced your captor??
?I want you,? was all Relena could say as desire for this man coursed through her body.
?You want me, huh? The pacifist princess really is a cheating slut.?
Relena tried to reach out to slap him but he still had her arms pinned. He took his fingers outside of her and used that hand to spread her legs. With one push, he was deep inside of her.
He hammered into her, hearing her moan. She pulled him up to be closer to her and as she kissed him, he suddenly wanted to make sure this woman was satisfied. The kisses grew deeper and Heero found himself losing control. Her moans grew louder until she screamed out, ?Heerroooooo!? Instinct took over and Heero gave into his body. He found him screaming ?Relenaaaa!?
As soon as he screamed her name, a flash of memories bombarded him of a time before when he had done this with her. He collapsed on her body as he saw her at the beach, her falling asleep on his shoulder, her underneath him moaning in ecstasy.
?Relena, what have I done??
