Author's Note: I commissioned a piece of art to go with this. After mulling over and imagining what the art would look like, this came to mind.

Trousers and Tribulations

"Back at Sank, there was that time you stole all my uniform trousers," recounted Quatre as he dipped Dorothy on the dance floor. "Tell me why or I will drop you."

Dorothy rolled her eyes. "Are you really still fixated on that?"

"On the count of three..."

"You and Heero were the only male students at the school," she answered in an infuriatingly calm voice even as her long blonde hair touched the cold marble. 'If I stole all your pants, you would have had to borrow his."

"And what was the purpose of that?"

Dorothy smirked. "Heero Yuy may be blessed in many departments but he doesn't have much going on downstairs. I knew his pants would be tight on you so I thought it would be a good opportunity to ogle the merchandise."

Quatre's eyes widened in disbelief even as he raised her back to a standing position. "You went through all that trouble just to-"

She laughed. "You honestly believed that? Don't flatter yourself. I was planting audio bugs in your pockets. Just my luck that you happened to step out of the shower before I could finish so I panicked and ran off with them."

"Miss Dorothy, you're really something else."

He released her just as the music ended.

"If it's any consolation, you have a lot going on downstairs from what I saw," she winked. "It's still no justification for narcissism though."

She disappeared into the crowd before he could say another word.

I look forward to seeing that after reading this. You have a nack for making Dorothy is the greatest BSer in the After Colony timeline.
