This chapter- seems to be just a filler pre-quil...Why can't she ever just get to the point?

Chapter 515: "Borrowed Body"

So, Kags has collapsed. (It probably won't change anything, big question is-who really cares?) As Scruff yells at the shikon youkai, Miroku recounts what Kags thought earlier about not being Naraku's bushin because of the shard in Kohaku.

Fluffy walks up with his mostly missing arm and tells them to take Kohaku and Rin and leave. They're in the way. (When are they not? I mean geez...x.x Still mostly a cheerleading squad!)

Inuyasha tells Sessh to step back, he's wounded. Jaken sticks his nose in where it doesn't belong and cries that it's Scruff's fault for taking the Meidouzangutsu Ha. (LIKE HE EVEN WANTED IT! Come on Jaken...I think even Scruff thinks his sword needs a break down.) Sessh growls at Jaken for it, and somehow-magically-heals his holey arm with his "fighting spirit." (And.... Okay....I'm sorry....but THAT is just GEI...When THE HELL could Sessh do THAT?! And why didn't he do it for his LEFT arm? >O ) Next-Fluffy goes FuLl YoUkAi! (So-I guess the arm thing can be forgiven....a little bit.) He bites into the shikon youkai and releases SHOUKI! YaaaY! Like no one saw that coming.

Scruff tells the guys to take Kagome, like they'd leave her, and Inu slashes through the Shikon youkai as he tries to reach for the fleeing group. Fluff and Inu think at the same time that this guy fights Exactly like Naraku, but obviously isn't part of him. The houshi and Sango quickly deduce that "he's" the reason Kags is flat on her face.

Down below, under Kirara, on the ground, Scruff talks to the shikon youkai's head as it sits inside Fluffy's maw...(Wonderful place to just stop and chill to have a chat man! ) And Scruff finds out that he's in a borrowed body. (I.E. Naraku's. I told you he looked fuxing familiar) And that OH WOW! The shikon youkai has a NAME too!! And his name is Magatsuhi. And he tells the Scruff that as he crawls from Sesshi's maw.

So that's this week's. It may be getting a BIT more interesting, but where is she going with all this? Was Magatsuhi the original youkai who was leading the attack against Midoriko all those hundreds of years ago? I think so. But, we'll probably find out next week. So, next time expect a BG story and nothing much else going on. Except MAYBE him admitting he sealed Kagome. So till next time!

It's that time again, finally, after three days of waiting. Another doubled post, but what can ya do? Sessh puts his balls on the table.

Chapter 516: "Magatsuhi"

Okay, so our little shikon youkai has a name now, and as is customary in manga and anime alike, the name is repeated by the hero with a question mark on the end. Sango and Miroku make connections between the name and the dark will of the shikon no tama (somehow-don't know how.) and Inuyasha just makes the connection that the M-man is using Naraku's body, so he'll just kill him. (smart dog...??)

M-man goads him telling him to go ahead, and kill Sesshi while he's at it. Jaken wonders why Sessh isn't escaping. He continues to question why he doesn't detransform and get out that way, but-he is a dog. Then-Sessh does that. There's a passing comment about thier minds being connected-(ew.) and Inu tells Fluffy to get out of the way, let him do the rest. But as fluffy is fluffy, he doesn't heed Scruff and dashes off to claw him anyway...And gets caught again. At which point you have to ask yourself-Is Sessh as stupid as Inu?

Scruff comes to his rescue again, and somehow involks the black Tetsusaiga! (oh whoopee...) The M-man breaks up into peieces to make using the Meidouzangutsuha virtually impossible (there's always SOMETHING that makes that fucking blade useless!! ) and the pieces fly for the group in the sky. Sango rips through them with Hiraiotsu, and Miroku notices there's no end-so goes to open the Kazanna-only to have Kohaku come to (sorta) and stop him...Miroku thinks the shard is controling him. M-man's parts try to get to Kohaku's shard and Sesshi leaps up to slice them away from the amber hero.

M-man goads Scruff again, saying that even if he aimed the Tetsusaiga at his scattered pieces his friends (and family) would get caught in the cross fire. Sessh turns to the airborne group then and says: "Follow me." [if you want to live!](--sorry--had to.) and groups them all together in one spot to make M-man's body converge into one place too.

He then says to them: "You're on your own." And puts his balls on the table by walking off to LEAP at M-man's head claiming to himself that he will kill him with his own hand. This is a matter of pride! Uh-sure thing there bub...

That ends this week's chapter. Still haven't heard word one about anything concerning Kagsy's poor condition. Hopefully we'll see something to that effect rectified next week, but I won't hold my breath. Sesshi-is making bold Inuyasha like moves-seems he's more like his brother then he thought! We'll see how on the fly that is next week too. So-till then! Keep yourself cool!

Holy Calimari...This week ended with some messed up shix

Chapter 517: "Magatsuhi's Main Body"

Sesshi rushes headlong to what looks like his doom. Everyone's like NOO! WTF R U DUIING!!!11!11 STOOP!!!!!11 And Fluffy doesn't listen and pulls out his trusty Tenseiga. (Cuz we all know that can do a lot more then Tetsusaiga can!) And he slashes right through a spirit beside the talking, floating, walking head of M-man's stolen Narki body...And curses fly.

M-man then throws his Narki pieces at Fluff who can't cut those with the tenseiga-and as M-man questions that, Fluff gets turned into dog-food-err-Run through the abdomen! Twice. Then he gets swallowed up by M-man's body thing again-and Scruffy hops Kirara to try to save him. And curses him the whole way of course.

M-man smirks and then tries to take Inuyasha down too. Taunting him again why not blow it open. Doesn't matter if Sessh is inside, he'll come back to life...as part of Naraku's body. (Oooh-wouldn't we all just <i>looove</i> that...) Scruff responds to the taunt as only Scruff can do-and-really does get caught now...Only to have a sudden HUGE wave of light burst forth and Sessh emerge from it, magically...and now--Sessh seems to have LIGHT coming from his ripped off ARM....Yee gods...

And I'll say it again...Yee gods...Nothing much happens in this week's tale till the last page. Does this mean Sessh is gonna get a replacement arm? Or something else? And what about poor Kagsey over there still out like a fuxing christmas light?! Whose gonna fix her, huh?! Well-till next time...Stay tuned.

You'd think that SOMEONE would've payed Kag's a LITTLE attention in 3 chapters, did takahashi forget about her?

I shall echo, cause erm yeah. Yeh Gods. What the heck is going on? This is almost like bad drama. At least its the main story, and not a side bit. We have a lot to be thankful in that respect.

As always LGM, HELLA amusing updates ^^ You always make me laugh. The tedium of the actual story is worth it to see your responces. Keep up the great work ^^

Thanks Eden-chan. ^^ I tend to put down what I'm thinking at the moment of reading....And now-after a week long unannounced Hiatus from Shogukukun....The next chapter. Have fun.

Chapter 518: "Bakusaiga"

(Another stupid name...)

Back to the breaking light! Everyone-who's still coherent (i.e. not Kags or Kohaku)-wonders what the hell the light is...for 2 pages...Even Sesshi. Though he calls it a "feeling."

Next thing ya know, Toutosai shows up! Ramdomly. And just as Sesshi's about to get whomped by M-man again-Sesshi figures: "If he's here-then-I've got...." And SLASH-BooM-bASh...(The lightning crashed-oh but that's anoteher story never mind.) M-man's "borrowed" body and we get a full page with Sesshi's BRAND NEW...ARM! And katana. Everyone else is stunned at the arm regrowing...Everyone else is all like "Holy fuzz balls! And we don't mean his fluff! He's gotta new arm! Lyke ttlly ZOMG!" Noot Scruffy...he's all..."OMG that Sword!"....(JHsdwegdj! He's so DUMB sometimes! x.x who cares about the blade, the fuxin dude just gained the arm back that you sliced off and your all up about the sword?! ::siigh:: anyway...)

Toutosai informs them that it's Sesshi's own sword called Bakusaiga. (who let him think up these names? Jeezus.) ANYWAY-M-man tries to reform-much to everyone's chagrin, and finds that--ooomegodz...he can't. Miroku figures out that the sword made it so that he couldn't-and this prolly means that Naraku's suffering the blow too.

M-man, though surprised-as all stupid bad guys do-still remains cocky as ever and says "Don matter. I don't feel anythi-" And then Sessh is all: "No. Just no. Just shut up. Just Shut the Fuck Up." and slashes his head cutting him off. (literally) But-of course-it looks like M-man got away.

Toutosai explains how and why Fluffy got Bakusaiga-and Scruff sums it up in his head for us: "He finally let go and completely gave up on Tetsusaiga." And basically that equals out to he finally surpassed Inutaishou.

MEANWHILE...Away from the stupid katana crap...Kagome finally wakes up some...But...she looks ill.

SOoo that's tit for tat. Next week is being claimed that something is wrong with our Little Green Miko. Now-we focus back on those forgotten through this fight. Everyone cheer though, Sesshi has two arms again. YAAY! So till next week. ::salutes and bows out::

Holy crap! He really did get a new arm?! And here we all thought that wishing for something like that a lost cause. Yay for the arm!!

New arm, new blade, now a new scabbard and one fucked up determination...

Chapter 519: "Magutsuhi's Shadow"

This time-we begin with a dream. And it's so obviously a dream too. Kagome finds herself back at home, her (annoying-must-die) friends behind her as they look onto the board to see if they've passed the High School entrance exams. The three brats passed and Kagome didn't.(And yet-this manga has spanned TWO years within story time...YA THINK SHE STAYED BACK ANYWAY?) She screams NOOOOOOO! And-wakes up in Kaede's hut-surprising everybody. Inuyasha asks her what's wrong-and she can't explain. Miroku reminds her that she collapsed unconscious-and then she recalls it too.

Looking over she sees Kohaku, still out cold in Sango's lap. Immdeiately figuring it's the shard, she goes to purify it. Meanwhile, everyone tries to figure out why M-man could taint the shard and Naraku couldn't....As if that isn't a wild DUH answer-M-man is originally *from the tama* people...Heeellllooooo?!

Anyway, Kagome discovers-ZOMG! She can't purify anymore! (And that's what's wrong with her folks! How lame...I'd rather she was terminally ill...) Everyone's surprised and figure out pretty quickly that M-man and her collapse is the reason for it. (Now that took a lotta brain power...)

Outside-Toutousai has made a saya* for the Bakasaiga. (oops...my bad...I meant Bakusaiga...) Okay-anyhoo-Sesshi turns to leave and Rin comes to stop him-claiming Kohaku isn't awake yet. Fluff says-"Yer ALL staying here, kitten. Jaken inclueded" to which Jaken promptly throws a hissy fit.

Scruff comes out (magically he wondered about the convo...it's a mystery as to why...) and asks Fluff if he's going out after M-man. Sessh is all "He's mine" And then takes off after claiming to remember his smell, with Jaken still throwing a hissy fit.

Miroku comes out and tells Scruff (and us) what we already knew! M-man is the reason for Kagsey's seal! Wow...Scruff wonders if Fluff killing M-man will break the seal on his little green miko.

Later that night we find the Christmas colored pair out in front of Kaede's hut, and Kagsey apologizes-because she really *is* completely and utterly useless now! Yay. Scruff tries to make her feel better by telling her-"Psh, if M-man and Narki did this to you, it means you can *really* kick some serious ass at full power."

The last page holds the mystery of Naraku telling Byakuya that the body M-man "borrowed" from him is dead...but M-man survives...and Narki thinks he knows what M-man's gonna do....

And that's it folks! This weeks chapter in a 7 paragraphed nutshell! We finally hear some proof that Kags is stronger than Kikyou, and possibly stronger than even Midoriko...And-what is M-man gonna do? And do we care? When does it end? x.x Till next time!

Break from the Sengoku monotony...

Chapter 420: "An Important Event in Life"

From the start of this-we're in modern times. Kagome is standing at her desk running over the list of things she needs for her High School Entrance Exams. Sure she has everything, she heads off with a determined look-and recalls that it's been ten days since she came back...She couldn't purify Kohaku's shard-and he's been asleep ever since-but she's most surprised that Inu has let her be for this long. So-she races off to her (evil) friends...

And-Inuyasha shows up at the shrine to take her back...Jii-chan tries to get all up in arms about not letting him bother Kagome today-but Scruff's gone by the time he finishes...obviously on the hunt for his little green miko-who at that moment is shoving herself into the train with her friends. Scruff comes bounding out of no where and she sees him and sits him-leaving him behind.

People at the trainstation end up thinking that Scruff is a "bad" cos-player...He scares them off and hops on the roof of the train-set on not letting her run away on him. Meanwhile she's dead set on not letting him butt in today.

In her haste to get off the train with her friends-(And I will say that in her defense-subways in Tokyo get face-into-back jam packed...literally. No personal space.) she gets her yellow backpack of doom ripped from her hands-with everything she needs in it...and she looks on as the train rushes off...

One of the triplets notices "Kagome's boyfriend" lurking behind a wall-and mentions it...Kags turns right around and uses him to chase down the train. She exclaims there's something more important than her life in the bag...(uhhh....noooo...) and Scruff-being Scruff-reels out Tetsusaiga to cut the train down to save this "thing." He gets sat again.

As she rushes into the train car to get the bag, and Scruff rises cursing her-he smells something and sniffs around at the terminal. Suddenly Kags is yanked from the train as the doors close and it races off again. Kags yells at him then-till he holds up her bag. Poor Kags stands there miffed, confused and surprised-till she then launches herself at him and hugs him tightly. He takes her to her exam and she thanks him for that and then-opens her bag and realizes--Her exam pass isn't it it! And starts to flip out again.

Mama arrives to save the day this time-and presents her with the magical exam pass saying she'd left it on her desk. Inuyasha says he doesn't get it-but to do her best anyway. As Kags runs off to do her test Mama wraps Inu's ears up-even though he's been showing them this whole time.

And that's this week....though I still say that in line with the actual amount of time that's passed in the manga-2 years have rolled on by since Kags was 15! BUT anyway...next week-it's vague...Anything could happen...be prepared.

Chapter 521: "Shadow"

Shippou sits on the edge of the well-wondering when Inuyasha and Kagome are going to return. Kaede comes by and wonders if Kagome really will return when her powers are completely sealed the way they are.

Back in the village, Sango, Rin and Jaken keep a vigilant watch over the Little Amber Hero, who is still in the grips of "repose." Sango mourns the fact that this is the longest time they've been together since the fateful day, and it just figures that he's "asleep" for it.

Outside the Hooch is teaching children kanji in the dirt-though all of the marks have to do with females...when a dark shadow passes over the group. He Stands and realizes it's a HUGE group of youkai-and makes ready to suck them all in.

Meanwhile, Sesshoumaru follows Magutsuhi's scent across the land and runs face first into Byakuya! Byaku (like most everyone else except Inu) is surprised about his brand new arm. But Sessh is dismissive. Byaku then goes "Okay, I guess ya only wanna fight the M-man!" and the huge cloudy face of M-man appears behind him. Sessh-fooled by it-goes to slash at it with his Tenseiga...And is surprised it doesn't work. Byaku thinks to himself: "dumb ass. That's an illusion. Have fun fighting with it. Because right now M-man is just about to..."

Back in the village Miroku pulls the Kazana, and Sango rushes from Kaede's hut to help-knowing that if he uses it the wound will get worse. After they defeat them-they realize "OH SHIT! The shadow didn't go buh-bye! It was a distraction!" And turn to rush towards the hut a little too late.

Rin notices the floor looks a little wierd-and both her and Jaken witness M-man's great ugly mug over the sleeping Kohaku. Kohaku stands up as Miroku and Sango burst through the door and Sango states the obvious!

M-man, now Kohaku, turns to them with a wicked smirk and explains where he's been till Tenseiga's slash across his cloudy face healed. Also that now that he controls Kohaku's body...the Shikon no Tama will finally be complete!

AND THAT ends that...Next time big messy battle-probably trying to keep Kohaku in the village while Fluffy and Scruffy are indisposed. MAYBE this is FINALLY drawing to a conclusion here people! AT LONG last! We can only hope...So-till next time!

Chapter 522: "Possession"

So, Kohaku is possessed by M-man. Sango asks if he's going to use Kohaku to transport the shard to Naraku. Well, yes, he is. But she'd get the body back...a corpse. Sango's all like-"I can't let that happen!"

Suddenly a huge group of low level youkai break through the hut and strat to carry Kohaku off. Miroku jumps up, grabs Kohaku and starts to try to suck M-man up. But fails. Epic fails. M-man tells them that the hooch just sucked up some poison he reeally shouldn't have. He also says to Sango that she'll die by her brother's hand. And attacks, getting a real nasty hit in before Rin runs up trying to stop him. He sends Rin on a one way trip to KO-ville and hitches a ride on the Youkai Express he was trying to take out earlier.

Meanwhile Inuyasha no mori ni....Inuyasha and Kagome have returned and realize almost immediately that something is wrong. They hurry off to Kaede's where they find that the hut has been demolished and inside is a Very hurt Taijiya, a Houshi at the end of his rope and a KOed Rin.

Sango asks them to go after Kohaku as Kagome exclaims about her wound. Inuyasha discovers that Miroku's shouki wounds have gone to his chest as he apologizes for "going a little too far." Then to top it all off there starts to be a sound from the Kazaana that can be heard....Miroku falls to wondering which will kill him first. The shouki reaching his heart, or the Kazaana.

Meanwhile, in another part of town...Sesshoumaru is only just now figuring out that the M-man he's fighting with is a fake. And realizing that the scent he'd been chasing is coming from Byakuya (who just happens to still be there-ooh I wonder why). He leaps up and makes to slash at him. Byaku ducks and Fluffy smashes a bottle that had a piece of flesh in it.

Byaku explains that the peiece of flesh is from when Fluff slashed and gashed M-man's face.* He was using it to lure Sessh out to give M-man time. Sessh looks surprised,appalled and frightened! (wow...more actual expressions...Go Fluffy.)

AND that's that! Miroku's in a right mess, and we'll have to see next week if the tama gets completed and if Sesshi revives Kohaku. Looks like Takahashi's FINALLY coming to a finale close! Hooray! At least I hope so. So stay tuned folks!
