Yesss....moving....>> Okay, I didn't get this chapter till late last night so didn't have a chance to do anything with it till now. This one's a real bummer for Sessh. :\

Chapter 503: "Black Blade"

For the first time in a couple chapters we move down to the ground to see what the cheerleaders have been doing while the knuckleheads butt heads. Toutousai makes his appearance on Momo, his faithful tri-eyed cow-and informs them that the Tenseiga and the Tetsusaiga are about to become one.

Meanwhile, back in space: Fluffy figures out what Scruffy's youki is doing to his final Meidou-and Naraku is quietly overjoyed because he has control of the Tenseiga due to Kanna's mirror youkai shards on it* and sets about using it to kill Scruffy off. It sends shouki infested Koungousouha shards flying right for Inu and smacks him right through the back...Now it's a battle of Scruff vs. only the Tenseiga...woo-woo.

Sesshi also figures out that-when Inu's youki weakens-it's because of Naraku and leaps off into the oblivion to--help essentially. Inu tries to break the blade but-alone the blade's too quick and he misses several times till-( ::plays Star Wars theme music:: ) Sesshi appears and takes the hilt of the Tenseiga. Both scruff and Narki are surprised, but Narki's all for it. He's all like: "Wee. okay! Kill him on your own! It's coo, it's coo." Though Sesshi stands there thinking "Right, I think I know what Narks is after-and...hmm...nope. I ain't fallen for it no more." and he strikes at Inu's Tetsusaiga.

The Tenseiga loses the mirror youkai's shards and snaps in half from the contact-and the power from the blade floods Tetsusaiga-pushing Scruff back with a FoomPH. Scruff reverts to hanyou Scruff and now has a pretty black katana. Sessh recognizes the Medou Zengetsuha in the blade's face.

Toutousai informs the group that the blades have melded.

Inuyasha realizes that Naraku's shouki is poisoning him, and Naraku giggles himself silly at the fact that-Whoopty-doo, Tetsusaiga got yet ANOTHER fuxing upgrade- ( ::GRUMBLE:: ) but both boys are stuck in the circle of the Meidou with no way out AND his shouki is poisoning Inu! He'd obviously dance if he could.

And thus finishes this tale of pure rapture-leaving Fluffly virtually bladeless for real now. Truthfully I have got no idea where Takahashi is going with this-but one of my best friends predictions is: "its down to the wire. The Monk's gonna be devoured really soon, With Sesshy disarmed he's not gonna be as big of a threat as he was before. He wont be able to stop Naraku from taking Kohaku now." I dunno what I think, but that'sa good a guess as any.

BTW: THERE WILL BE NO CHAPTER FOR NEXT WEEK.

I think it's Golden Week in Japan or something. Anyway, the next synopsis will be in two weeks. Till then!

Welll...it's been over two weeks, but I *FINALLY* got the next installment of the manga. So here comes another double Post because I lack a choice.

Chapter 504: "Meidou Light"

After the near two week long hiatus we return with Byakuya and Naraku chuckling over the fact that the brothers were caught in the Meidou and it has closed. Thinking it's over...but really, is it ever over for them? After all-this manga hasn't ended...YET! >< ANYWAY...

We move onto inside the Meidou where Fluffy scoffs at the fact that Scruffy is unconscious from Naraku's shouki poisoning, (like he wouldn't be too...psh) but reaches over and removes the Kongousouha shard from Inu's back and punches him awake. (Can you feel the brotherly love in the black-hole? Come on! Feel it!)

Scruff's informed that the Meidou has closed-and-it's up to him to figure out how to get them out of this. (who didn't see that coming? raise your hands, so I can whap you.) and Scruff's all like: OMGWTFBBQ?! And Sessh is all...I hate repeating myself, dipshit...Scruff figures out at last "Oh, right! I oughta use the new upgraded Tetsusaiga! Version 723,873,827,298.15!" Then-the idiot for some bizarre reason recalls when Tenseiga snaps and tries to ask Sessh about it...course Sessh is all like: "Idiot, we're faading...MIGHT wanna keep your head on the task at hand."

Soo Inu's all like-"Oh yeah!" and starts trying to figure out what the heck he's supposed to be doing with the new color on his blade-as Sessh starts to vanish. Inu sees that and is all ruffled: "DON'T YOU DISAPPEAR ON ME!" and he finally sees a strip of light with scents from the living world. He goes and cuts it, of course-and the two are blasted with light as if they'd been lost in a closet for hours and someone finally opened the door.

Outside the Meidou makes itself visable to the rest of the gang (useless as they ever are...) and Toutousai sees something fall from it. The two brothers emerge from the black thing and Inu falls to the ground and we return to the ever popular name-game as Kagome and Rin rush forward calling out each of the boy's names.

A few people notice that Sesshi doesn't have the Tenseiga-and Sesshi starts to walk away. Though Toutousai stops him and asks him if he wants to take the Tenseiga with him-which apparently had dropped out before the brothers and fixed itself before it lodged itself in the dirt. According to Toutousai-it's back to it's "original form" (whatever the hell the original form was for it) and can still heal things. (Yay! Inuyasha's blade doesn't have God Status! Cheer!) Sesshi's all like..."Um...yea...no...wtf am I gonna do with it now? see ya." But Rin takes it and says she'll give it to him anyway.

Inu asks what the hell Sessh is gonna do now that he lacks a "weapon" but Toutousai's like- "psh, lets just say it's great that you realized you couldn't do this with your own power." Inu agrees while Toutousai looks off and ponders on that a few more steps and Sessh really will have a blade of his own-not just something spawned from his father's fang.

Sooo-YEA...um...that be all for this week. I think-despite the fact that this was the end to another upgrade session for Tetsusaiga (And she MUST stop with those...I mean gods...) that it was GOOD that Tenseiga came back to Sessh and can still heal. 'Cause-I dunno about you-but Inuyasha being able to kill and heal? Eh-not a good combo. Anyway, Takahashi predicts a new road for the boys next chapter. Hope the "road" leads to THE END damnit!!! But anyway, see ya next week. ::salutes::

Just when we thought it couldn't get any more dragged through the mud....

Chapter 505: "Kitsune Inn"

Can you believe it? Everything seems to be back to normal and hunkey dorey for the Inu-gumi! x.x HOW?! Anyway-they're walking up a dark mountain path and Shippou spots Kitsune Bi while everyone else complains that there's no shrine or something to stop and rest in for the night.

Suddenly Ship-dip gets whacked with a leaf on his forehead. The others, surprised, surmise it's a youkai and rush off to find it--but they come across a lovely looking Inn instead, just magically there from what seems like no where. Reading a sign Miroku and Sango deduce that it's a youkai mansion-especially with the Kitsune Bi floating randomly around it.

Just then a gaggle of girls appear and greet them, Miroku immdiately decrees they should stay much to the chagrin of the others. The girls seem to give the houshi compliments till Sango gets mad-and then they suddenly get papers that float toward them. They start exclaiming about more points-and higher ranks. The Inu-gumi are left with an "Uhn-duhh?" look as they run off.

Kagome then wonders where Shippou went-and Inu tells her he must have dropped him in the garden. She runs off to look for him. Meanwhile, with Ship-dip, he's woken up by someone calling him #77-which is the number printed on the leaf stuck to his forehead from earlier. He finds soon enough that he's surrounded by Kitsune just like himself-and they go into rapt detail about the Kitsune Inn and how it's an exam ground for Kitsune to gain ranking.

We return inside to prove what the other kits were saying as they attempt to fool and trick the houshi and the taijiya...almost getting the monk with thier jokes till Sango stops him. They get more papers that read: "FAIL" on them-and run off crying "currse yoou!" As the two humans *slowly* figure out what the hell they're in, we move back to the kits explaining the whole Exam thing to Ship-dip, who doesn't really seem to get it.

They explain that with the group [meaning the Inu-gumi] they have now, they'll get maximum points. Ship-dip quickly figures out that they're referring to his friends-and at first tries to figure out how to warn them-or stop the kits when they all spot Kagome searching for Shippou in the garden. As the other miscreants rush off-Ship tries to follow and gets stepped on by Inu.

They get into a little verbal scuffle that ends with Shippou snarling 'SHUT UP' and setting his top onto the hanyou's head. He rushes off to supposedly help Kagome when a paper floats to him too...with a rank on it. Meanwhile the other kits reach Kagome and try to scare her in their goofy forms. Of course-Kags, having traveled with Ship-dip for gods know how long-just smiles stupidly at them like thier cute till Inu bursts in and whacks them all thinking they're Ship-dip.

They all get "FAIL" notes and run off sourly. Running into Shippou again he asks them about the rank he got-and learns that he jumped ahead by 5 with just smashing Inu with his top. Suddenly realizing that he could beat up Inuyasha and get rewarded for it at the same time-Shippou's attitude toward the whole Exam thing flip-flops-and he announces that even though they are his friends-"They are no substatute for the exam!" To which the other kits exclaim that that's a cold thing to say, but they want to see him maintain that commitment...

Meantime in the final frame of this weeks chapter: other kitsune are not doing well at all trying to trick the Inu-gumi any longer....

..............................this......all I have to say is: what-was-this?! Takahashi is LOSING fans because of how long she's dragged this freaking story through the mud and back-and she stops-NOW of all times-to take a turn off in fucking left field and does a SIDE STORY ARC FOR SHIPPOU?!?!?! What the hell is she thinking?!?! It was cute-but-totally unnecessary!! ::sigh:: Alright...done venting...for now. We'll see where this stupid, pointless side-trek takes us next week. tata.

Weeell...a double post again, but what can ya do? Ship-Dip's revenge:

Chapter 506: "Examinee Number 77"

Inside the "Inn" the inu-gumi are surrounded by score papers and Kags wonders about where Ship-dip has gone. Inuyasha says he's probably off with his friends, this place reeks of other kitsune.

Just then Shippou decides to make himself known by threatening the hanyou. Who retaliates...and Ship retaliates back, getting another score paper to find that he hasn't gone up a rank yet, but the other kitsune with him explain that he's gained points. Get two more and he'll go up again. So--Inuyasha bashes them all. The three with Ship pretend to cry cuz they didn't do anything and Kags falls for it, slamming Inuyasha. The three get points. Scruff tries to beat their heads in again, but they're gone.

They hear noise in the next room and find Miroku surrounded by a gaggle of kitsune transformed as girls. Sango gets angry and sends them all away with a smoke pellet-officially knocking Scruff off his feet too. Miroku then explains about where they actually are and what the kitsune are actually doing here. Sango gets mad because he helped them cheat by asking them to turn into girls for him.

Meanwhile, Ship-dip and his pals disguised as moths get the drop on the unconscious hanyou and make him angry. He stomps up and heads out to beat the fox into submission-taking out some older kitsune with rather good transformations along the way. A few yards back Sango gets whalloped because she sets numbing dumplings down for another gaggle of kitsune girls-who fall for that-and then a few of them decide to take on the Houshi's form and make her blush with a fake act which she buys.

Scruff and Kags go romping through and after beating a dew more well-done transformations calls out for Ship-dip to show himself...Which he does...in a way...in his pink-balloon form-with a pull-string that dangles and says: "Don't Pull This String."....Of course...Inuyasha pulls it...( ::rolls eyes:: ) and he gets clobbered again by Ship's stuff. Ship gets another point-as Inu rises to the challenge of his tricks and the next two pages are spent with Inuyasha breaking through every toy trick the fox has.

The three kits following him tell him it's almost dawn, the exams nearly over as Ship realizes that he's got no more toys left...he pulls the pitiful act and makes everyone feel sorry for him by running off saying that this is his punishment-or some garbage...Kags makes Inu follow to "make up" and he immediately falls into a pit....Shippou advances another level before dawn...And gets seriously pounded for it in the final frame.

Pointless garbage...a 2 chapter wing off from the story...I hope she finishes NOW! Anyway, that's that for this week. Join me next week as we recieve another: "NEW DEVELOPMENT!" And just cross your fingers that it's the beginning of the end this time.

Mrr! Well-I had started this a lot eariler than today, but I got caught up in other things and lost what I'd typed...x.x So this is attempt #2. And I'm glad under some circumstances double and triple posting isn't an offense on this forum. Anyway-on with the show

Chapter 507: "Hitomiko"

We begin with a random dead guy at a random village where a couple of random villagers find him and call over thier random miko to check up on him.

She comes and they notice a random something coming out of the random dead guy's mouth. The random miko decerns that it's a youkai as it tries to attack her with web-like things using the guy's body. She destroys it. Or so she thinks.

Meanwhile, the Inu-gumi is back on track-more or less-and Kagome is leading the group to a familiar spider-web of Naraku's she can see in the sky. Her direction leads them to our random village, where they meet our random villagers and they inform the group about the random miko, whose name turns out to be Hitomiko, who actually died after she defeated the random youkai. They inform them that she had given them a final request of removing her head and burrying it seperately from her body when she did die-but-the random villagers hadn't followed through.

It's now that Hitomiko comes back out and makes herself known. Everyone's surprised. Inuyasha tells them she hasn't come back-she smells like a corpse still. (And didn't Kikyou smell like one too? Come on man! That has nothing to do with anything!) Kagome spots Naraku's spider webs surrounding her and keeping her up as she rebukes the random villagers for not doing as she requested because this would happen.

Shippou mentions he sees the webs too, and Inuyasha leaps to sever them. Hitomiko pulls back and scoffs, saying that's not the way to defeat her! and vanishes skywards, leaving everyone to speculate. Sango asks if the webs mean that Hitomiko is being manipulated by Naraku, and Kagome mentions she seemed to be speaking on her own will, and Inuyasha tells the random villagers the limit they can do is bring her corpse back. Miroku says that they can't leave this situation alone. Inuyasha wonders what Narki is up to now...

Meantime-deep in the woods-hooked up by globs of spider webbing, is Hitomiko's corpse-and indeed-Naraku is the one behind her puppeteering...he comments that she has a tough spirit-and is resisting his advances, but the webs will taint her completely eventually-and she'll do as he wants her too.

He then tells her there's one thing he wants her to do anyway. Kagome. Take her powers and kill her. Hitomiko opens (AWESOME) hypnotized (anime) eyes and stutteringly repeats the name...and that's where we leave off till next week.

An attempt on Kagome?! We haven't seen one of those attempts since Kikyou vanished the first time from Hakureizan! Dunno if this is going to get us to the end...but maybe we'll be able to A. See Kagome DO something for once. B. See some LONG overdue Inu x Kago mush. and C. Get closer to the end! So join us next time as we discover that!

Chapter 508: "Miko's Barrier"

The webs have engulfed the shrine of Hitomiko. They attack Inuyasha as he attempts to proceed up the steps. Hiraikotsu is thrown next, slices through some of the webs-everyone seems surprised till Miroku points out that-Well, she did slice the fuck out of Naraku with it...* one would figger...

Till it gets blown back. By Hitomiko. Who steps out with a snark. "I'm not a youkai, idiots." Kagome runs up-and Miroku states the plain and obvious: "Wow, she's using a Miko Barrier!" Hitomiko's like: "Yeah! You get a cookie!!~And you know what else?! Only miko can break it. >(" Kags then notices bells entwined in the webs and proceeds to shoot them down with her bow. She hits-and is all "OMG! I HIT IT! For once!!11" And then Hitomiko uses her power to pull Kagome into the webs too since she's made contact with her power.

Kags lands in front of Hitomiko with a splat-somehow magically inside the shrine now-and looks up to Hito-chan holding Kags' arrow like she'd used that to pull her in. Hito-chan then asks "WTF is the point in stealing this level of power?" (HEeeY! The fuck ya tryin ta say beeyotch?!)

Outside the name-game begins anew, and Inu tries to smash through the webbed barrier with no luck...Miroku repeats the obvious-and so does Scruff: "Naraku was after Kagome the whole time!" Noooo, really?! Boy, Inu, you sure are Sherlock Holmes!

Back in the house of Miko: Kags says she came here to help...(uh-last I checked, sweetie, you were dragged in against your will...) and Hito-chan's all like "You...help me?...PFFHT! We'll just stick ya in a barrier linked by your own blood so ya can't move-and we'll call it square."

Its now that Kags sees Naraku's face in the shadows of the shrine, and moves anyway to fire her bow at it, surprisng Hito-chan. (obviously this woman has never witnessed a determined young miko before...::rolls eyes:: ) Narki of course escapes the arrow, and Hito-chan's like: "OOhhh, waitaminute...I see, he wanted me to take the BOW from you! Not your power, power! It's the presence in the bow that makes him afraid!" And Kags is all like..."Kikyou's presence. In my bow. Is freaking Naraku out?!**"

SO that's that for that...Next week-les pray Kagsey gets to kick some fuxin ass! She needs to. And I would friggin LOVE to know why EVERYTHING seems to some how relate back to Kikyou, even though the empty flower pot is gone from the world for good! Can't Takahashi just leave Kagome to Kagome? Forget Kiks? I mean-I love Kikyou to bits-don't get me wrong-but come on...talk about beating a dead horse. x.x;;

**just before Kikyou vanished for good-she ran into Narki's webs and sent Kags off on a mission to find a bow at Mt. Azusa in order to save Kiks' life. Obviously it didn't exactly work...but that's what that refers to.

I'm somewhat hopefull that this might be the segway Takahashi was looking for to add in some much needed tru storyline. Something tells me I'm way to optimistic. Do you think this is part of her plan to keep the royalty checks coming in till she's like 150?
