Four men turned to look at their American comrade, who was pacing around the room.
The silent one of the group summed it up.

The American pilot nodded his head.
?None! NONE! For one month!?
The four shared a look.
The blond one smiled tentatively.
?Duo, one month is nothing compared to the missions that takes months to finished.?
Duo snorted.
?It isn?t the same.?
His Chinese friend arched his eyebrow.
?And why not??
?Hilde?s right there! Within the same house! In another room! IT. ISN?T. THE. SAME.?
The Perfect Soldier got up from his chair.
?Your fight, your problem.?
And he began to walk out of the room.
The others, including Duo, followed suit.
Of course, the American persisted with his marital torture.
?Still??
?Duo, shut up.?
Duo scowled while his Chinese buddy smirked.
The Preventer 5 strode down the hallway, towards the meeting room to discuss some Preventer business, when they passed a closed room where?
?And how are you surviving??
?With this!?
The group of gals stared at the?
Hilde smirked.
?I call this Mecha Duo.?
Outside the room, the real Duo paused. The others also repeated that action.
Relena eyed the toy with indifference.
?I prefer the REAL one.?
The group stared at her.
?Aren?t you lonely when Heero is in a mission??
Relena SMILED and sipped her tea.
?Oh, the wait is nothing.?
They?stared at her some more.
?Oh.?
Relena continued sipping her tea.
Midii shook her head.
?I don?t get you, girl. I mean, I have one.?
Dorothy seconded that.
Even Sally raised her hand.
?Have you at least tried one??
Relena looked at the toy in the German girl?s hand.
?Oh, I had one. The BEST one, in fact. But??
Relena?SMIRKED.
?I had the greatest pleasure of getting rid of it?with Heero watching me dispense it.?
Relena crossed her legs.
?And afterwards??
She got this?LOOK on her face.
The other girls spoke in unison.

The group turned?
?and found their husbands standing at the open doorway.
Duo stared at the toy.
Then his eyes met his wife?s gaze.
?Mecha Duo??
Hilde blushed.
Duo?WALKED towards his wife.
He put his hands on the arm rest of the chair, trapping his wife and the?toy.
He leaned closer to her.
?Babe, that?Mecha Duo doesn?t cut it.?
He?GRINNED.
?I?LL show you the REAL THING.?
With that statement, he lifted his wife, toy and all, onto his shoulder and walked out of the room.
The group stared after the retreating couple.
Then Quatre made a comment.
?I guess they won?t attend the meeting.?
?Including me.?
Heads turned as Heero went towards HIS wife, took the cup of tea from her hands, gathered her into his arms, and walked out of the room.
Looking over her husband?s shoulder, Relena SMILED.
Silence permeated the room as the other couple left the premises.
It was Dorothy who spoke for them all.
?Well, we KNOW what they are DOING.?

?My experiment got some INTERESTING results.?
She grinned.

Her eyes caught one name.

Hilde sat up in bed.
She was HOT and BOTHERED.
She looked at the space beside her.
AND?
She pouted.
HE wasn?t there to fix things up.
AND since she had to get rid of Mecha Duo, there was nothing?NOTHING to make the ache go away.
She hated THOSE dreams.

The group of women caught one sight of her face and knew something was wrong.
?What?s wrong, Hilde??
Hilde combed her fingers through her hair.
She needed to blurt it out.
?I got THOSE dreams.?
The gals shared a look of understanding.
?Ah.?
?THOSE ones.?
Hilde sighed.
?EVERY NIGHT.?
They stared at her with surprised looks.
?Since HE was gone??
Hilde nodded her look.
Dorothy put the magazine she had been reading before the interesting conversation down on the coffee table.
?Aren?t they normal??
Hilde gave them a wide-eyed look.

The gals got on perplexed looks.
?What?s different then??
Hilde decided to sit down on her usual chair.

The gals leaned closer in anticipation.

Hilde gulped.
