Nice to meet you Pilot03, well I officially start working on my career choice late this September. Most everyone in my family has been involved with law enforcement at one time or another, and I am the youngest girl in the family who hasn't had babies, so the lot falls to me. I have two uncles in Montana who are border men, and I've been out with them several times when I?m there. It?s a good life but a very active/busy life. They seem to be constantly working which is okay because my aunts are constantly having babies and are busy anyways. To tell you the truth, besides my kid brother, I?m the only child in the family who isn?t married and/or doesn?t have babies :D and he want to be a computer programmer.

Nice to meet you forum nice guy/coffee boy/ moving target, :salute: I love the 'nice' guys, yet I always seem to meet the 'bad' boys. Which don?t impress me at all? But I can beat your call center blues-------I work at a hot dog stand :wink:

Pilot03, turns out our jobs are similar... I'm a receptionist, so I just sit here and answer the phone all day long, and pass the hours parusing this lovely little forum. ^_^ I wondered why you seem to be online the same times I am... Working 9 to 5, are we? Though I know Texas is a few hours behind Boston...

Yup. Full time worker bee. From 8:30 to 5:00 I deal with people calling the wrong department because our number is under customer service. Then they blame me for it. I do work while I'm here though. I mean...moving my fingers over the keyboard and looking busy for the boss is still consider work, right? Is this not America!! :-P

Yes there is, although scientifically I can?t prove it...yet! But I?m working on it. So get this I have two jobs, flipping hot dogs, and wiping snotty noses at a daycare. Have I mentioned that kids hold a special place in my heart, it?s the place that is screaming to get away from the men in white coats.

Someday I will be police chief, or president, or in charge of everyone in some way, lol. Nice guys who hide under rocks are okay with me(except that I can?t find one) because they always seem to be having so much fun down there.

Ohhh, me too! My mom's a kindergarten teacher, and I can't enough of those little darlings who can't pronounce my name right. ^_^ Ahh, my heart! This morning I volunteered at an art camp just so I could play with little kids and get messy... I was disappointed because I ended being the resident techie and had to help with a computer presentation instead.

BI and pictures of my neice help me get through the day mostly. Of course that is when I'm not bothering my other co-workers or actually *shudder* working. I enjoy the slow days like this were I can meet new, interesting, smart, funny, great all around people. :salute:

Same here. I usually make it a point to flirt with the UPS, DHL and FedEx delivery guys... They get so lonely on those trucks all day long...
You are a queen!!! If you think it gets lonely for those guys, try talking to the midnight crews that actually load their packages and trailers!! I used to work for UPS and of all time.....during CHRISTMAS!! Yes, big mistake, but a college guy needs money sometimes.

I would have liked to be a delivery boy, but I do enough of that here...or should I say used to... for the warlord. That and I didn't like the shorts they made you wear. They even had UPS socks!! Would have been fun to flirt with the receptionists though. :-P

Today, I am going to a funeral.

But I believe what you say about bad boys, but I am my town's resident bad girl being good :o , and I get upset with them easily.
