I had no idea i could do this...

Introduce yourself here. Who are you, what do you want, WHY ARE YOU HERE? (Just kidding) Introduce yourself, we want to know who you are. Note: please refrain from posting things like real life addresses, Social Security numbers, and what color underwear you have on - we don't need to know you THAT well....

Well I suppose if I?ve posted fanfics I should probably introduce myself, my name is Sydney Lynch and I go by so_so_sad here. I really don't have much to be sad about but I was out of ideas when creating my user name. I have been a fan of the Gundam wing series since it aired on toonami. As you well know by my involvement here my favorite characters in particular are Heero and Relena. I have a special place in my heart for Relena not only because we look alike but because she is everything I wish I could be, sort of an inspiration. Unfortunately I seem to be predisposed to fighting violently. I've been involved in martial arts since I was ten and received my black belt rank at the age of fifteen. I recently began various weapons training and joined a local gun club. Dont worry, I am extremely self controlled. :D

I am a freshman in college and I am studying criminal justice and administrative justice. I love the series mainly for the characters and the creative writing opportunities their relationships with one another offer. My parents have also been involved in law enforcement for most of their lives so while I have been training most of mine, I haven't had the chance to discover many anime series that inspire me to the degree that Gundam wing does, you if anyone has any suggestions please let me know...

I love writing and have always, most of my fanfics turn out to be lemons, and I can?t help it. I?m that kind of girl. And I love to write angst with less than fluffy endings. Please I would love to get to know everyone and replies on my work are always appreciated, I take criticism well. I don?t take the 1x2 viewpoint as calmly as i should :x , every argument they seem to have against 1xR relationships apply to 1x2 relationships as well, they seem a bit more narrow minded and unimaginative then I can handle. I am mainly on at night because I work in the evenings so please feel free to contact me.

I don?t know what else to say, so if there are any questions go ahead and message me. Thanks for your time.

1xR forever
Sidney 8)

I was raised doing Za Zen Tae- it means way of the thinking fist. My Sensei developed it from a mix of hawaiian kick boxing and Japanese ninjitsui, I can honestly say it's what made me what I am today, cheesy huh
and thanks for the welcome :D

I've never taken any classes like the ones you took. Though when I get to college I should be able to take kirate. I was looking at a pamphlet that said I could. I really think I might want to try it out. Well you just sounded really cool so I thought I would leave you a message. Maybe I will come across your fanfics some time and I'll leave you a review. :)

Welcome, Sidney! We've talked quite a bit, but I'd still like to officially welcome you to the site. ^_^ I've loved reading your fan fics so far. You're an awesome writer with lots of potential.

I think it's very possible to be like Relena and still fight (just look at Heero!). You can be a pacifist and still be a martial artist. My father, a minister, is a brown belt in karate, but he's not a trigger-happy war-mongerer by any means (he's actually pro-gun control, as am I). Martial arts gives people a great deal of focus and teaches one to fight with a purpose. Personally, I plan to enroll in Tae Kwon Do or something similar for self-defense purposes... You can never be too careful!

Well, your story is inspiring, and I look forward to hearing more from you. :salute:

Heya TwinSoul,
Your high school sounds cool. I went to a gangsta innercity school, we barely had JROTC. I would have jumped at the chance to become a millitary police officer. and congradulatons on your medal, what an honor indeed. I feel like heero yuy whenever I pick up a gun, lol. Although I think the wooden guns would have annoyed me. :D I see their purpose.

I think Aeris is absolutely right. I think it takes a huge amount of courage and self restraint to claim pacifism as your policy. However when I see everything that is happening in the world around us, I cant help but feel conflicted.

Here we have A/JROTC; the closest we get to a weapon is a leaded-up M1 Garand Rifle, a .30-06, and none of them have a firing mechanism. Our school hasn't had a professional rifle team since 1998.

I will admit that they're heavy, but they're mighty easy to clean and dismantle. Is this the rifle you're talking about, Twinsoul?

Heh, our Exhibition team has broken so many stocks on these things that we just had them replaced with plastic imitation wood, so we don't use wood anymore with the exception of the Colorguard.

But bleh, ignore me, I study these darned guns too much. :-P

Anyway, welcome again, Sydney!

hee, you gotta be kiddin'!!!!!! that gun looked a THOUSAND times better than our wooden guns in highschool.....hehehe...our guns didnt even have plastic/metal triggers..... :-? :-? :-? it's soooooo ugly and sometimes some part of the gun i was using is already chewed off by termites... :-? :-? :-? and the guns are not even similar in weight....you'd be so lucky if the gun distributed to you in a training session is light....gggrrrr.....a heavy gun will make punishments/penalties more difficult to perform (duck walks, push ups...etc.etc.etc.)

yeah, maybe our rifles are modeled after an M1 Garand...but they're all made up of wood......and they do not have a freakin' trigger..... :x :x :x
