wow...another masterpiece....I just love the realism of it...It feels so real that it hurts....I'm the sort of 1xR fanatic that believes in fairytale endings...the kind of story where Heero would be the Knight that will forever protect his Princess.
However, this story just reinforced what I already know in my heart as true - that 'that' is not what would likely happen if the Gundam Wing world as we know it actually exists.
I wanna say so much more but my heart is kind of in a lull right now. You're a gifted writer. Just the way you write the story almost without any bias and just presenting the facts as they are, amazes me.
It's so strange how I actually skipped reading the middle parts and went ahead with the"Home Run" chapter being obvious that I was enticed and curious to read the "lemon" part, only to be shocked by the events that followed. Nevertheless, as I went back and read the middle chapters, it seemed clear to me after being aware of Heero's true feelings for Relena that he actually 'unknowingly', if you can say that, LED HER ON.
None of his actions or his words suggested anything further than a simple fling - a mere curiosity and experimentation of a boy deprived of intimacy and affection. I guess, you can say I already had my own bias by then. I just feel bad for Relena. She was doing just fine in terms of quelling her affections for Heero but then, he showed interest and played the part quite well and charmingly, might I add. What's a girl supposed to feel by then?
Relena tried to be as cautious as she could but Heero continued to be close and try as she might, she eventually succumbed to his ministrations and fell in love -- hard.
Anyways, just an awesome story. I've been trying to rack my brain for sequel ideas, just to simply appease myself, but I can't really think of a better ending than this.
CHEERS!
