"So how are things going with the programming?" Lady Une asks the gundam pilots stand in her office.

"Alex and Porthole are working on it, but things are going slowly. We don't know if we can speed it up in any way," Trowa says as the others nod.

"There may be another way to make it go faster," Lady answers, resting her head on her hands as her elbows are propped up on the table.

"What are you suggesting Lady Une?" Quatre asks.

"We're going to have to contact out lunar base..."

"And ask Elen to help out. She knows computers well and she's relatively close to the satellite," Heero finishes it off.

"Wait, we have a lunar base?" Duo asks surprised.

"Only a few selected high rankers know of it," Lady responds.

"And this Elen? Is she good?" Wufei asks.

"You can probably say that she's the equivalent of Heero, in more ways than one," Lady finishes, giving a small smirk.

"I'll get on it right away Une," Heero answers.

Alex sat at the computer very annoyed, but finally as he started to fall asleep the computer lit up and completed the download.

" Damn, about time. Hey ,Porthole tell them it's done and the mobile dolls are standing by."

"Alright." And with that the older boy walked out.

" Now to send the rest of the data shouldn't take.... done. Faster than the last."

" But the last program can't be put in until later and I'll need lots of help for that one."

Gelfis was thinking about all of the money he would lose if he failed. Not only would they kill him it would mean that the damn Gundam pilots had saved the world again all for precious Relena Peacecraft.

" Dagger. round up the rest of our mobile suits the final Attack will be tomorrow." He said as he watched the news.

The public did not know there was a war going on. the Preventor were doing their job correctly.

Reku walked back to his room in his new clothes, which Mr Ikura said was a fighter outfit. " Man, I'm so tired, I should have stayed back at base but then if I left now and she got attacked it would be like Midoriko all over again.

He got in bed and quickly fell asleep.

" I don't want to push her away.

" .... can't... we .....just .... be ....friends."

Dagger walked through the narrow corridor, winding in and out of the building to the main hall where all the mobile suit pilots were gathering for the pep talk that she was expected to give them.

Looking back over the few months that she had been an ally to Gelfis, for the first time she began to have doubts.

//Everyone's left. All the good pilots anyway....even that useless Alex was more useful than the slums we've got now. And Chloe and Rosaan? Huh! didn't think they were gonna stick around in the first place.//

All she wanted was to get her own back on the Gundam pilots, destroying them was not so much to ask was it? She'd tried to kill Heero five years ago, teamed up with her cousin Sylvia Noventa, because he had killed her father and uncle. But that hadn't worked. When Sylvia died during the battle only her hate for the Gundam Pilots had increased.

She'd sworn to destroy them all and that was what she was going to do.

Three years later, Gelfis had shown up with all his empty promises and bribes. She knew that to him she was just a pawn in his game. But really it was the other way round. She was just using him to get closer to the Gundam Pilots.

And in the final attack tomorrow, she would defy all his orders and useless instructions, and command all his....or should she say, her fighters to do as she pleased.

But first she had to deliver this speech, to stir their loyalties towards her and her alone. She must turn them against their real leader. Gelfis.

Smirking, Dagger walked on.

i don't know what to put in Dagger's speech at the moment, but i'll think of something soon.

Gelfis' pilots morale was low. they had been defeated by the gundam pilots so many times that the battle was seeming hopeless and they just wanted to go home.

And now they had gotten word that the preventors got hold of the mobile dolls in the satellite.

" I just want to go home, how did I even think that we would win this war." one soldier said as they prepared the suits.

three of the seven Gundam pilots had traveled to the moon base with Lady Une to get help with installing the last program.

" Hey are you sure we should be here. From the last update we got, the suits Gelfis have seem to be ready to move." Alex said as he stared down at the landing zone.

"Yes, this new person will help us, with the program, Elyn will help with it." Lady Une said as the boys nodded off into sleep. " Ivan, Can you transmit the entrance codes."

" Huh, oh yeah....

"Thank you for the breakfast Mrs. Ikura," Reku says as he finishes his meal, dressed back into his blaack ensemble.

"It's no problem Reku. If you could only be like more like Maeko," she says, taking away his plate.

"Reku, are you ready? I have to be at the dojo soon and I rather not be late," Maeko says walking into the room in a long black strapless dress and her regular black fighting shoes. Reku stares at her as his eyes focus on the cut where her heart is.

"Don't you want to eat something for breakfast?" the elder man asks.

"No thank you grandfather. I'm just fine. Bye," she says as she heads out the door, Reku following behind her.

"Maeko, what happened to your chest?" he asks.

"It's a long story that I rather not talk about. Just one thing before we get there though, no matter what I do or what happens, I would really appreciate it if you were quiet," she suggests, stopping in place and making Reku stop behind her.

"Sure thing. I can be quiet. And don't forget that I'm here as a friend," he says, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Thanks Reku. THat means alot," she says, turning around and smiling.

"So, who is this Elen? Do you know her Heero?" Ivan asks as they all head down the hallway.

"Yes. In fact, I recommended her for this position."

"Heero," a woman says in brown hair and dark blue eyes as she appraoches the group.

"Elen. It's been a while."

"Is it me, or do they look a lot alike?" Alex whispers to Ivan.

"Like brother and sister. You don't think?"

"Heero has a sister?"

With eyes bluer than the clearest lake, Elyn caught Ivan's question. "That is a very good observation, young Peacecraft. Now let me ask you one. Are you really Relena Peacecraft's nephew?"

Caught off guard, Ivan nodded.

Elyn nodded in approval. "Excellent. And I am Heero's sister." Her eyes averted back to the other boy. "Alex, yes? I'll give you the process instructions for the data."

They followed the attractive woman down a hall, and Elyn described the needed actions to Alex and Porthole, who got to work right at the lunar base's main computer.

"Ivan, would you please stay here? I need to speak to my brother," Elyn told him. Ivan politely agreed.

Heero, a little irked, went into a separate room with his slightly younger sister. "Elyn?"

Even though he was annoyed, Elyn could tell that his hidden affection for her didn't waver. Once they'd found each other, sibling love had bloomed sweetly. "He is Relena's nephew."

"As he confirmed."

"Yes," she agreed. "And he is heir to the Peacecraft throne."

"The monarchy borders were eliminated. There really isn't a throne," Heero objected, having an idea where this was leading.

"True, but there is an inheritence that will go to him, as things stand. Do you know why that is, Heero?" Elyn's brow raised.

Heero stiffened. "This isn't your business."

"My single brother's happiness is not? Then I am mislead in my emotions. Why doesn't the woman you love where a ring?"

"Because she isn't engaged," Heero answered sufficiently.

"Damn you, you idiot. Don't you see what I'm encouraging?"

"You're nagging."

"That too. Heero." Stepping too him, she cupped her brother's face between her hands. "I love you. And in a way unlike I do, Relena loves you as well. You want her, she wants you, and you do not marry her. This is complicated and extremely practical."

Practical, yes. Complicated, extremely. Love was something still so foreign to him.

"I could kill J," she muttered. "But he's dead, and for a while, so were your feelings. But Heero..."

"Elyn. I can't talk about this with you." Heero pulled away and headed for the door.

"In that case, Heero, you should talk about it with her. She loves you. You know that."

Heero waited for a few seconds, then left the room.

Elyn sighed. "Damn you. Mule."

She stood in front, he was in the back, far back not saying a word as he watched all of the individuals as they walked into the Dojo. He never had a loved one die. except a girl but he barely knew her. ***Must be hard for a person to go on after they lose someone.***

Then his watch beeped, Maeko wasn't wearing hers so she wouldn't have gotten the message. He walked outside.

" what?"

" We're almost finished here with the download and when you're finished there come back as soon as possible to prepare. Oh and there's another gundam pilot." His father's voice sounded tiny in the speakers. " Becareful, because Gelfis is on the move.'

' All right Dad." He though of leaving a message with Maeko's grandfather and leaving now, but then that would put him on her bad side again. so he walked back inside.

The older Gundam pilots sat waiting for everyone to return.

" Hey Wufei, how long do those things take."

" They left last night, should have already started.

" So what's the plan?" Trowa said.

THey looked at each other. " It's not our place to make a plan, it's their turn not ours." Milliardo said as he sat thinking.

" They will bring us peace. I know they will.......

"There. I think it's done," Alex says as he and Ivan finish.

"Great. Now we can make the final plans and start this battle before Gelfis does," Ivan comments.

"Better contact the others then, shouldn't we?" Lady Une says.

"Are you sure about this Maeko?" the man named Charles whispers as Maeko starts to get up from her seat.

"I'm sure sensei." She finishes getitng up and heads to a little platform where her Master rests behind.

"Master Seiji was a great man and taught all of us many things. I know that there are three things that he taught me I will never forget. Number one, always wear your scares proudly, even though for a girl that can be quite difficult seeing that we would much rather have perfect skin," she says, while stroking the mark across her chest and smiling.

"Second, he taught me to believe in my heart and spirit, something that I always took to heart, but never really thought of it until now when my life has really changed. I know now why he gave me his prized sword. Some may not know, but as of a little while ago, I became a Gundam pilot, fighting a war which my fellow pilots and I can stop and it took everyething I had to try to keep myself with it. And I now know that it was worth it," she says, looking at Reku in the back of the rows.

"The third thing was to always respect your family and now it's kinda hard since I have three of them. It's taken much time and I've been thinking very hard about all of this, but I believe I've made my decision. As for my third family, I will continue to battle with them for a peaceful future both now and after. As for my real family, I wish to take their shrine under my name as well when the time comes since they are my true family and at that point, I hope to include the other parts of our family since our shrine should be a familiy shrine," she says, looking at her grandparents in the row behind where she sat.

"And lastly, you may all know that this Dojo has been put under my care, but with going away to fight, I wish to place my Sensei Charles in charge. I know he will do a great job. And now, for the changing of masters ceremony." Maeko slowly takes out her sword and shows everyone the mark already on her arm. She then takes the sword and makes another cut perpendicular to the already healing one, drawing fresh blood. After putting the sword away, she takes some of her blood and makes a shape of a circle with a dot in the middle on the Master's head and then her own.

"I promise to continue the legacy of this dojo Master Seiji."

"How aare the plans coming along Gallian?" Naora asks.

"Alright," he answers as she looks from the plan to his face.

"Hmm, they seem fine but you don't. What's up?" she asks.

"Nothing's up. Now do you want to help me with these plans or not?" After huffing, she begins to type on the computer.

"Are you sure you must go Master Maeko?" Charles asks as she and Reku stand by the gates.

"I must. My other family needs me," she answers, touching her fingers with Reku's, sending a blush creeping into his face.

"Our prayers will be with you Master," the others say bowing.

"I will see you all soon. Goodbye." The two bow back and head on out.

"Wow, I can't believe you have a dojo now. Are you sure you want to leave?" Reku asks, trying to look at her face.

"Yeah. I'm sure," she whispers.

"Maeko, are you okay?" he asks, rushing in front of her to stop her. She lifts her head and shows Reku the tears streaming down her face.

"He's really gone now Reku," she says, pulling him into a hug.

"Everything's going to be alright Maeko. I promise."

"Thank you," she mumbles back.

"NOw, if you're up to it, why don't we get going so we can go kick some butt," he says, pulling away and looking at her face smiling.

"Sounds great," she answers, smiling back as they both run, but not without looking one more time at the dojo.

They ran to the gundams and headed to the base of operations. they all had something to fight for. She to keep her families together. And Him so that his little sister would not be born into a world of fighting. but what would happen after when the fighting was over. Would they alll still see each other?

" Preventor Base, this is Shadow, we are returning. Please stand down."

" Welcome back, Preventor just in time for the planning."

The two gundams landed in the meadow surrounding the H.Q. and ran down to the base.

" Gallian, how's that girl."

" She's fine."

" Is she willing to fight with us, so I can fix her gundam."

" Fix it for me will you Reku."

"Sure, anyone want to help?"

The three boys and the new girl were ready to leave in the shuttle. Heero was ready as well.

" This will be the final battle. you will stop him this time." Heero said trusting in the pilots.

" Of course we'll stop him and we'll not kill a single person unless he wants to die." Alex said as he watched the base get smaller and smaller.

Gelfis knew today was the day, his victory needed to be todayor else he would be the laughing stock of the entire nation and then again the Gundam pillots would be heroes.

" Ready my personal suit for battle. I shall not live if I lose....

"How does it look now Maeko?" Reku asks as he works on Rosaan's gundam.

"Everything seems fine from down here. All the lights are flashing green," Maeko responds looking at the console with a newly bandaged arm.

"Good. What about now?" he asks as he plugs in a few new wires.

"All green."

"Alright. Can you come up here and help me with this part? Then we shoudl be done."

"K." She runs towards the near by ladder and climbs up to meet Reku, kneeling beside him. HE gives her two wires and takes another.

"Now hold this right here while I... " he shows her where to put them while he does a few adjustments. "there. All done. Thanks for the help."

"No problem. Reku?"

"Yeah?"

"I want to thank you for coming with me to the ceremony. It meant a lot to me," she says looking straight up into Reku's eyes.

"It's no problem. It was nice to get away," he answers, a blush creeping at her intense glare.

"There's something else too that I've been thinking about. You see...um..." She fiddle with her hands in her lap and looks down at the grating.

"Yeah?" he asks, leaning closer.

"Um..." Without warning, Maeko brings her mouth up to his and gives him a simple kiss. She backs away though and the two look at each other, both faces turning bright red.

"Wow," he whispers.

"Yeah, so ... we better get to the meeting room cuase Gallian is probably done with the plans. Last one there is a rotten egg,"Maeko says, running as quickly as she can away from him.

"Did she just...." he asks himself, touching his fingers to his lips.
