This is truly exciting. How long have we been waiting for this to happen? Is the fricking WORLD ENDING?! Okay, not quite, but Comm'on!! This is awesome!!

Do we need champagne to read the last battle explanations LGM? lol.

So exciting to come back and read actual storyline, and better yet actual storyline that seems to be leading somewhere.

I will admit, I was rooting for sessy to save Kohaku. Kikyo's the one who saved him? Pul-ese. Her entire reasson for existing was basicly to bring down Naraku, how could she possibly change her mind at the last minuite like that? Did it actually explaine what was wrong with Miroku and Rin? (I think I need to re-read, sadly excitment dosn't lead to careful reading)

Anyways, Keep up the absolutly wonderful work, where would we be without you?

It may very well be ending the world...Champaigne would be great too! Possibly party favors and entertainment to celebrate! Anywhoopsies...On with the Beginning of the End.

Chapter 531: "Cloud of Jaki"

Shippou...has been left behind. As has Kohaku. And Shippou is not a happy camper about it. We head to flashback land where Ship-dip goes over what happened before they left. Which was basically Ship asking why he can't go-and getting the spciel this is nothing like the battles before, kids shouldn't be there. Kohaku is told he shouldn't waste the life Kikyou gave him. Ship still protests and Inu gives him a buncha bullshit about if they fail he'll have to take on the task alone as a daiyoukai...and then promptly Knocks him out.

Which brings us back to now, where he races out intent on going after them, even though he can't and stops dead at the sight of the sky completely blackened over with jaki.

Meanwhile-somewhere in the jaki-Inu and Kags have hitched a ride on a large worm-like youkai and begin talking about Shippou. This is a pretty pointless convo-so I skip. Kags makes the comment that it will be really dangerous because she hasn't gotten her powers back-Scruff's like: "Yea, we'll have to wait for Sesshi to kick M-man's ass with Tenseiga before ya get them back..." (So we *ARE* at least leaning on Sessh to kill M-man like I thought...)

Speaking of the Fluffinator...We scoot to him. He's in front of Naraku...who, surprise, surprise, has used the tama and become a GIANT FUCKING SPIDER! Go to sleep if you were surprised by this "awesome" transformation...

Random youkai attack, and Sessh randomly slashes them down with the Bakusaiga. Byakuya shows his pretty Jakotsu-Kagura love-child like mug and exclaims on the greatness of the Bakusaiga-and how he *could* use that to destroy Naraku, why doesn't he let it all out? Sesshi's silence is enough to tell him-Oh-he's looking for Rin. He smugly tells Sessh- "OH yea, she's in there...with Naraku."

Narki then sends more youkai and himself after Sesshi as the others arrive onto the scene and seem mildy surprised that Narki is a huge spider.

Kags and Inu make straight for the sheet of youkai on the one thier riding and come face to face with the Oni-gumo...Who--Opens his pinchers WIIIDEE as if inviting the two of them on inside.

And that's where it cuts off. O-M-G-W-T-F-B-B-Q! It has begun...Though I feel like Shippou was only put into the series as occasional comic relief as he doesn't DO anything unless it's in a comedy arch..::sigh:: useless extras...Oh well...guess that's the breaks. See ya back here next week as we head into Naraku.

If I were an overly optimistic and if this story had even a sembalence of normality, I would say that naraku's wide open welcome pincers were a metophor of him welcoming death. Of course that would be overlooking the obvious fact that this has never been a normal story, and we all know that something is going to screw up to prolong death until the last possible moment. (Shippo's defining moment of usefulness perhaps? )

Waiting with bated breath for next week, keep up the great work LGM.

Waiting wasn't very long this time. lol. The next installment is here:

Chapter 532: "Inside Naraku's Body"

Open with a two pager of the huge ass arachnid and the pint size inu-gumi-who are surprised that Naraku has done this.

Fluffi dives in without hesitation-and Byaku's like: "Psh, well, he wants that girl." Scruff and Kags follow. Sango and Miroku start on thier heals...Byaku snarks at them-Miroku threatens him, but holds back-since he's sure that using the Kazanna a couple more times will mean the end of him. He spends a page pioriating about it-till Sango tells him they'll definitely kill Naraku...At which point he agrees and reasserts his engagement to Sango.

Byaku wonders why not just give up Rin and destroy Narki from the outside...But-who wants to give up on Rin? Anyway, they enter into this huge, cavernous body cavity-and Naraku greets them-with "Sooo, ya finally came in. Plan to destroy me from the inside...Oookay. Everything in here is *ME.*"

Sango tries her Hiraikotsu and gets a face fulla shouki. Big surprise, right? For some reason-they're surprised. (as if it hasn't happened before...::rolls eyes:: ) Narki explains that they've been bathed in it since they came in, and they haven't died cuz...The shikon no tama wants thier soouuullssss!! Thier anger, thier hate, thier despair...

Scruff's all like: "Uh...No...I'm here to cut the thread I have witchu..." And Narki's like "Well, ya know...fighting me means your fighting the tama...do ya really think ya can cut the tama's red thread? It's been around for hundreds of years!" (They'd BETTER....This thing has gotta end!! )

A Naraku shape rises up covered in the armored shell shix and aims for the group. Meanwhile on the outside-Byaku watches on as the spider becomes like a big, black, ugly spider balloon...and back inside Scruff tries his Tetsusaiga on the Narki shaped thing. ( WHY bother? The fucking fang DOESN'T ever work! x.x ) It bounces off and the Narki shape tells him: "Take your time fighting me...You ain't never getting outta here ever again..."

And that's a rap...This week is done. Narki and Scruff face off--And GODS help us if the others Don't do jack during this...I will really send hate mail to Takahashi...Anyway, till Next week-we will wait to see the battle move on.

The battle becomes a hunt that goes terribly wrong...

Chapter 533: "Presence of the Jewel"

Boom, Bang, Baff, Bop, Bam...Naraku's insides and Inuyasha heave ho at eachother with a whacking great big useless fang blad and clawed fists. And Naraku tells Inuyasha that the blade is useless too.

Sango gives it a whirl with the Hiraikotsu-and splits Narki's wall-and the shouki-but Narki just comes back as 2 Narki's. (For some reason everyone is surprised by this...Why-I don't know. They're inside Naraku's body...and his muscled walls can create humanoid shape renditions of himself...Seriously...What did they think was gonna happen? x.x Anyway...)

Another gloriously failed attempt at the Kongosouha...and then the beginnings of the Meidouzengutsuha...Which-is stalled-yet again-as Rin shows up. Out of her mind and wandering aimlessly, but there. (Though, he wouldn't be able to use it anyway...What does he wanna suck EVERYONE up into Hell with the damn black blade? Can I just snap the thing now?) Naraku taunts Inu about it-and then tries to stab him and Kags through.

Scruff grabs Kags and leaps outta the way-and Kags announces they have to find and destroy the tama. Everyone is surprised by this too-evidently thinking that the tama had been absorbed and spread out like a tonic...(uh-no. thought that'd be obvious.) So, with this revelation Inu drags Kags off to another body cavity-leaving Miroku and Sango to get closed up behind a fleshy wall.

Team Scruff immediately starts on its path to find the corrupted tama, without any interuptions...suspicious for that reason-Kagome wonders about it...only to stop and realize...Tama's potent and defiled enough to boil Inu's youkai blood and he transforms! Not good for one lone little miko with no powers. Narki explains why he's transforming...As if it wasn't blindingly obvious...and we're left till next week.

So, Full Youkai Inu! Yeay! *Achem* Kags is screwed. Now-we have 3 options here for our useless little miko. 1. Sesshi comes back from his magical faerie land dream world inside Naraku and finds M-man to kick his ass and unseal Kags, 2. Inuyasha proves Narki wrong and shows that he *CAN* control his youkai blood....OR 3. Kags somehow or other brings him back to his senses sans her powers. Though I really want to know how they plan on re-obliterating the tama without making the same fucking, bloody problem as the first time! Especially with a no power miko and no one knows the "right wish." Anyway-till next week.

"Useless lil Miko" Ahhh sad but tru. I love her to bits, but this is bordering on ridculous already.

All of your 3 senarios would be promising, and awesome to see happen, but we live in reality. Maybe its that we've watched this series drag out for so long that we're a *little* blaise about the fact that it might actually end. (*-* denouts sarcasam) Instead of things looking up, they seem to look generally worse, and like you so eloquently pointed out LGM, the characters keep making stupid judgment calls. What I would really like to see happen, is some actually character maturity, and some change for the greater good. Shouldn't these guys, after all that they've been through, be smart enough to stop making the same mistakes again and again? Com'on!

Ahh well, I've said my piece. Its not like I'm gonna stop reading your summarys now after all this time, and with the ending supposedly near. I gotta know what happens now, for better or for worse.

Mn. That it is...and it just gets more ridiculous. And-the trio of scenarios may happen...Though-I guess 3 is less likely with current events...Which I will now unfold

Chapter 534: "Arrow of Shouki"

We return to one full youkai nut-ball and one uber useless green miko. Kags calls to Scruff to pull out of his state-but it's a no go. He launches and claws at her-spilling some blood. Narki taunts Kags about not being able to purify the hanyou. Kags thinks if she can lead him from the tama he'll return-as Narki continues to taunt.

He offers her a choice then. A shouki filled arrow. If she shoots Scruff with it, she can save herself. She bypasses it of course, coming to a cliff edge of Naraku flesh. Narki asks her if she'll do it. Kagsy goes: "The hell? NO. Idiot. Inuyasha would never..." Naraku finishes her statement; "Kill you? HA...You'll see." And Inuyasha shoves her off the flesh cliff...x.X and it looks right familiar to a same said cliff-fall scene from a certain clay pot from before.

Meanwhile-back at the ranch. Sango and Miroku are wandering aimlessly in the cavernous halls of Naraku's innards. Sango begins to worry about the kazzana. The hissing sound from it has gotten louder. They are suddenly surrounded in mist-and are confronted with a vision. The vision is of Mushin's temple (the old houshi that brought Miroku up after his father was sucked into his own kazanna). As Miroku wonders why Naraku is showing them this, we get to witness the tragic replay of Miroku's Chichiue's death.

Sango-seeing this with her own eyes-freaks the hell out. Miroku tries to soothe her as he realizes Naraku showed them to make Sango see it! And they're surrounded by fleshy roots.

Back with the little miko-deep in the dark pits of Naraku's body...Sesshoumaru comes across the unconscious miko...and we're left till next week.

Only question here: WTF is Naraku doing letting Sesshi walk around in his body without a care in the world?! He's a bloody threat too. x.x;; ANYWAY-as rethorical as that is:My Inuyasha pointed out a good point regarding Scruff. If-he was in fact-really out to kill Kags-she would not have been able to get away-and he would have sliced her into miko ribbons instead of merely shoved her off of a fleshy cliff. I think that means he's trying to restrain himself...if only a little. As for the houshi and taijiya-Narki seems to be trying to dig back into their deepest fears...Anyway-we'll see where this goes next time. So-till then, toodleloo!

Yea...this is EXTREMELY late...but I got wicked pissed off when I accidentially pressed the back button when I finished the summery last time and lost the entire fucking thing...so I procrastinated typing another one out till today.

Chapter 535: "Naraku's Darkness"

Okay, so, we know the tama has changed Scruffy into a full youkai. Well, after tossing Kags off the fleshy, cliche cliff, we find him wandering inside Narki aimlessly and remembering...Yes folks...Kikyou! Yet again..x.x;; And then he remembers Kags, and his promise to her-and seeing her fly off the cliche cliff....and Bang. He's normal again.

He smells Kags blood on his fingers and asks the walls of Narki what happened. Narki laughs that he can't remember and Scruff lashes out...Till Narki's all like--"Ooh, Inuyasha, let the darkness consume you-you'll feel nothing but the need to kill..."

Meanwhile, back on Oak Bluff Farms...The lil Missy is right about wakin up now to a whole bowl fulla righteous sunshine! Sunshine named Fluffy...as he whacks the royal fuck out of random internal youkai. Fluffy asks about the wound and makes an assumption about Inuyasha-which Kags tries to refute and fails miserably...but reflects on why she isn't dead.

Now we meet back up with Mr. and Mrs. Jim. (AKA Sango and Miroku) Mrs. Jim rides on Kirara beside Mr. Jim and worries about the gaping windy hole in his hand...Tilll Narki knocks them for a loop, seperating them from each other and Mrs. Jim from her big bent bone.

Now, with Mrs. Jim in peril-at the mercy of Narki's goobery arm things Mr. Jim goes to open his hole again! Much to Mrs. Jim's chagrin.

Soo-that's the end of that...Probably have the next one by tomorrow or Thursday...Swithing girlz. Yay. Anyway-till next time.

awwwwwwwww I've messed up ubber long emails before, and had to re-type it, I absolutly feel your pain. I'm glad you did find the soundness of mind to re-do the update, even though now I wanna strangle stupid scruff. He wasn't blessed with much more then fluff for brains, was he? Grrrrrr.

Chapter 536: "The Kazzana's Limit"

BIG warning via Mrs. Jim-"DON'T DO IT!"

What does Mr. Jim do? Use it anyway.

And of course it rips further. He closes it and Sango tries to get to him but he tells her to stay away. It settles a bit-but he knows its not for long...and starts to tell Sango that this is where it ends. He would be extremely mortified and unhappy if he were to suck her up too when it rips the rest of the way. He turns to leave her.

Meanwhile-in Whoville, the Who's are watching the fat ass rotund spider thing that is Naraku. Kaede remarks that it looks like a giant evil shikon no tama...And we switch to Ship-dip and the toad.

Shippou mourns the fact that Inuyasha wouldn't let him go-and Jaken tries to explain long-windedly why he isn't with the gang either-till the Kit tells him to STFU. The toad then asks that Shippou to take him to the Naraku tama...But Ship's already anchored away. Jaken knocks him down and they get into a scuffle when our Amber Hero shows up behind them...

Back at the farm....Kags is following Fluffy and wondering why the hell he can't smell Rin, while Fluffy is all: "Insides bigger than the ooouuutside" in his head. They spy a Rin illusion and keep going.

In another plane-higher up-Rin wakes up! And is faced with none other then M-man!! She tries to run-calling out Fluffy's name-but rather then running into him-she runs right into--The Brain Dead Hanyou!! Weee....And she questions him upon seeing his full youkai face...

That's that. I think Fluff and Scruff are switching thier wimens here...This is really queer. Though I will Laugh My Ass off if Rin is the one to bring Scruffy back from brain-cell drainage land. Anywayz...till next we meet. I remain ever...The Fatigued with this story Little Green Miko...
