Blissful Ignorance

It's true, I know, I am an adjective addict. And yikes, I know it was angsty, and I didn't mean to offend anyone. (I'll remember to put a warning in the subject next time, sorry about that.)

And I'm planning to make a HAPPY 1xR fic for New Year's. (And your birthday.) So there!

I'm not offended. I just can't enjoy a story like that. Maybe I should be less sensitive about it, but I personally can't see Relena as an adulterer. Also, I'm not sure why if she and Heero are in love she doesn't just divorce her husband. It's kinder.

I do understand that it makes things less angsty from the perspective of starcrossed lovers don't come into play at that point. But at the same time, you haven't really explained why "its too late", when she could get a divorce.

I know, where's my holiday spirit? And why am I THINKING about the story, anyway?

I love that Heero and Relena are making love by the tree at Christmas, though. And happy fic for New Years? Really? Still? Even after I griped about the adultery thing?

But of course! What kind of writer could I possible be if I became disgruntled at a bit of griping? Because Heero and Relena need some positive loving too. ^_^

Ha you see what I did there? I said good game Gundam Girl, but I guess it would be better if I said good job. However, I'm to perfect to go back and correct myself so it stays good game.

Anyway, despite our fearless leaders protests , I liked it. It was full of massive angst but hey everynow and then we need a little drama or life gets boring.

So do I start calling you Nessie now? When did that happen? When's the last time we talked, I take no responsiblity for our lack of communication in the last few months.

@ APerfectSoldier: Wow, it *has* been a long time, hasn't it?? I actually am going (formally) by NessieGG now, at least on FFNet and LJ and a fandom board or two. I haven't figured out if it's possible to do a name change. I stopped liking Gundam Girl and went to Nessie but kept the GG on for the old crowd, aka, the 1xR Brigade. So you can keep it GG.

@ pilot03: Just think of the tree as a huge sprig of mistletoe. ^_^

So _that's_ what happens with mistletoe proportion-wise. Little piece of mistletoe: a smooch.....big--sprig(?) of mistletoe: ...a la marvin gaye let's get it on. Interesting.

Whoa! Amazing! I love how realistic it is. Him not being able to say the words, her having married in the public eye, her still yearning for him and the tender but harsh way they do it on the floor... Really, it was great. Keep writing!
