Just kidding... I think JROTC programs are quite admirable. Kudos to all of you who participated (or still participate) in them. We had JROTC at my high school, but I was involved in speech team and... show choir. Sad but true. Now I'm a cheerleader, so I have to yell things like, "Go! Fight! Win!" See? I'm conflicted, too! :-?

Lol, I love cheerleaders, although I never was one. In the beginning of my highschool career I wore a lot of black but I found that our cheerleaders were the nicest to me, much nicer then anyone else who wore a lot of black. In high school I was really concerned with skipping class and bringing my teachers coffee to make up for it

back in highshool, our cheerleaders were the "elite" and "b*tchy" girls in campus..... :-? :-? :-? :-? they were the POMPOM Girls from Hell........

i was only part of the "yelling" squad....hehehehe......with all the formations and the weird dancemoves with the synchronous clappings etc etc etc... the "yelling" squad is the highlight in highschool and the pompom girls were just options.....

in college, the POMPOM girls (cheerdance competion) are the highlight while the "yelling" squad asissts them. right now, im just the director of the "yelling" squad in college....

We didn't have a yelling squad, but we had a step team, dance team, and stomp team, now that I think about it, most of the cheerleaders were on the dance team so I wonder if they just put their pom pom's down... Our elite girls were those involved with ASB and most of them were overly conceited and privileged (as far as my high school went). I however play tennis for my college, oh yeah, its good fun

nothing beats a good sport!!!!!!! i play badminton....so i cud keep my body shape... i'm so blessed to have a waist that does not expand easily...hehehehe... [but my thighs....huhuhu ....they're getting bigger.....]

In my high school, we had cheerleaders and pom-pon dancers (abbreviated "the poms"), and you were darned if confused the two! My best friend was a pom, while I was just...eh... nerdy. ^_^ Still am, too. I'm probably the nerdiest cheerleader EVER.

And I'm just like you, TwinSoul... My waist stays tiny, but my thighs just love getting bigger on me. These days I'm living in my "fat" jeans. :-?

Same here!! LOL!! I too thought it was time for a proper intro and welcome comment. Ask anyone around here, I'm the forum nice guy slash coffee boy slash moving target. I am very much interested in your career choice. I've been debating in getting my criminal justice degree as well. I have family in Border Patrol and have started to wonder if I should go that route. I might even get into private investigation thanks to a stepbrother to my cousin. Working at a call center blows.
