Honest question: When you first saw Relena on GW, what was your reaction?

Wow, this could be a whole new topic! Honestly? I couldn't stand her. She drove me nuts! In fact, I thought that she, Heero, Duo and Zechs were all psychopaths... After I watched the show for the second time, they became my favourite characters! At first I only liked Trowa, Catherine, and Quatre, because I figured they were the most "normal" on the show.

So, what about you?

I saw her as being a little obsessive, but that's normal for a beginning infatuation over someone (in this case, Heero)... although we all know now that, unavoidably, the infatuation evolved into full-blown romance... *coughs, while looking at the address bar on the top of his screen* ... that's besides the point though. Like you, I began to accept her, slowly.

The makers of Gundam Wing wanted to make it clear, I'm sure, that she was dead set on peace. They probably wanted to show that she was na?ve as hell in her execution of that, and that's why no one liked her in the beginning. As she developed her ideas, however, most people began to like having her in the story. There is still a "We Hate Relena" fanbase floating around in the backalleys of the Internet, though, and those groups are just composed of people who loved to hold grudges and bash what they hate to hell.

And now, here we are, admiring her and her canon relationship in this quite expansive community. To tell the truth, I admire her speaking ability and how she pulls everything together in the end. She's a strong woman; very outspoken, for sure, and cares about the world... a quality rare in today's society, one that sometimes gets drummed out.

At any rate, it's one amazing concept how she changed between the beginning of Episode 1 and the end of Endless Waltz.

honestly, i liked her from the very beginning...... and i was so oblivious of the 1xR thing that i thot that she looked good with Zechs... silly me............ i was not aware that they were sibblings at that time.......

Umm... I used to play the bash Relena game online. But during my second viewing of Gundam Wing, she grew on me, and I ended up finding this website back when it first started. I think I'm now on my eleventy-billionth viewing of GW. I've lost track... but the more I watch, the more stands out to me, like Heero's lovey-dovey eyes during the second-to-last episode ("Believe in me..."). I still get fangirl goosebumps just thinking about that... *sigh*

there is no secret...hehehe....i just searched the net for tips and tricks in Adobe photoshop....i've tested them for my self and tried to apply it to my sigs....they worked.... ....i sucked at explaining techniques you see.....

It's okay because my techno-savvy boyfriend is going to make me one... he is so much cooler than me. ^_^

they sure do...they're edited...i found a 3d pic of a handsome guy in the net with amazing blue eyes which reminded me of heero's....and i saw that 3D girl too...she's actually a character in Shaiya:Light and Darkness...but her hair is blonde and sort-of style like relena's (w/o the bangs)....so i thot, hey, why dont i make a nice sig out of these....i painted dark brown locks of hair around the guy's eyes so he would look like heero yuy.....i was really proud of the result and posted it here as my sig.....

so you see how different the hair looks from the other sig???hehehehe....the girl is really pretty....very relena-like....blue eyes and blonde hair....but her boobs are really big so i just pasted the face and hid her body and forehead, because she doesn't have bangs........

Yes, having a boyfriend majoring in computer science and working as an IT intern does have its advantages, but I don't feel like I need a boyfriend; I never have. I think it's better if you enjoy being single and the right guy just happens to drop out of the sky... like mine did. ^_^ Oh wait, sorry, was I imagining I was Relena again? Whoopsies. Seriously, though, I believe your own Heero is out there, and you'll find each other soon enough. *sigh* Oh, how I love love...

Ooooops. Hehehehe. So, back to 0mikr0n and his video gaming (was that the topic?!?). What games are you playing right now? I'm currently obsessed with my Nintendo DS. It's becoming a real problem... between Mario Kart and Final Fantasy I & II (I'm playing through them anticipating the release of FF III), I can't put it down! How about you guys?
