Helena... I like that. Like the My Chemical Romance song. And Helen makes me think of Helen of Troy. ^_^ No doubt Relena's daughter would be just as genetically gifted as the legendary beauty.... unless, of course, she married a toad. But I haven't told anyone who Relena's married to in my story, and you won't find out until I actually post the thing! :-P Truthfully, I've placed this story on the back burner because I've got a few others I'm working on that won't leave me alone... but I'll get back to it soon, I promise!

Well, I'm kinda thinking that Endless Waltz sorta leaned on Greek Mythology. I mean, think about it:

Helen of Troy: Kidnapped by Paris for her beauty. War fought to get her back.
Relena of Sanc: Kidnapped by Kushrinada for her abilities in public persuasion. War fought to get her back.

Coincidence? I think NOT!

I'll have to disagree with you on that, 0mikr0n.

I've always believed that the battles fought in Endless Waltz were to preserve the peace that would undoubtably be shattered by the advent of the Mariemaia Era. Even if Relena hadn't been kidnapped, the Barton Foundation would have still gone through with its plan to complete the original objective of Operation Meteor, and the Gundam pilots would still have fought to keep the peace. Heero just made it his personal mission to save her.

On a side note, there's actually three accepted variations of the myth of the Helen of Sparta/Troy.

Meh, true... why else would he have risked his life just sitting there charging up his beam rifle when he's taking shots from 50+ mobile suits? Bleh, shows how dumb I am. :-P
