Has seen the "Fluffy" album yet? I would like it!
Oh my, I haven't heard of a lot of those songs Trek ^^;
Evangelion as a series kills me, I'm in the process of rewatching it ^^;;
Oh you've seen Rurouni Kenshin too!? I luff that anime and the music too
Ohhh & you're right, Escaflowne is very close to Lord of the Rings! Defs!
I have about 40-50 anime albums, mostly Evangelion and Record of the Loduss war. I do have some obsure stuff,too. We have a Japanese Department store in Honolulu that has an excellent selection of anime...finding it is not fun though!! It is "alphabetical" order... in Kanji (sp?)!
I perfer to buy my music. I do have alot of downloads from the good ol' Napster days, but since have bought the album for it for most. THe only ones that I have trouble finding are the English versiions of some songs. Some of the english translation stuff is good (Key, Loduss, and some Ranma), but mostly I perfer it in Japanese.
Is for the anime I've seen, Kenshin, yeah; Key, Yeah; Hellsing...I may not like all the music from the anime I like; but I like all the anime music I have.
FYI: I got Century Child by Nightwish: AWESOME! THe Phantom of the OPera version was so cool!

Century child isn't half as good as Wishmaster was. Once has all that moviemusic-kinda grande orchestrations to keep it floating, but Century Child as an album failed pretty bad. The only song I liked at the time was Everdream.
You people heard the cover of Gary Moore's Over the hills and far away by Nightwish? One of their best projects, 'nuff said. But then again, it's Moore and old guys often rock far more than the young ones.
Another good example of Nightwish making a good cover is Walking in the air.
