Don't feel embarrassed or silly. We all just don't catch things sometimes (me more than most, I think
). It's nothing to be ashamed of.
I hope I didn't come off as snobby in my answer. If I did, I apologize. I didn't mean it that way - I was just trying to explain it methodically. It wasn't my intention to make you feel silly or to insult you. I'm sorry if the wording of my explanation offended you in any way.

Sheila is not Heero's lover, but Jim's. I can understand why you were confused, though. The clue is in the line's wording, as it says that she was his [Jim's lover] as far as Heero could tell. Since Heero would know whether or not he's having sex with a woman, we can assume that Sheila is NOT Heero's lover. The only other male really mentioned was Jim (the captain), so we then come to the conclusion that HE must be Sheila's lover.
I hope that helped clear it up a little. ^_^

Nice but Heero seemed stabled about not fighting after EW.... I donno I guess it just isn't my style to fuck before you know the person isn't going to leave you for a gun... but it was good.
