I don't care if some jackass guy has reciently screwed you over in a similar way in real life, stop transfering that stupidity on to Heero. Enough is enough, both here and in your colab fic with Miz

Ouch. Perhaps it's not my place to defend myself, but your review is kind of rude. I don't mind criticism if you feel that certain actions don't reflect the personalities of the characters (as you see them) and would like to see them portrayed more positively, but to assume things about my personal life and criticize my integrity as a writer in light of such an assumption is rude. I /have/ been through a painful experience similar to what occurs in this story that has supplied some ideas and a rough reference, but it wasn't recent, I'm not still angsting over it, and Desires is not that story. First loves and first breakups are simply tough experiences and /that/ was the story I meant to tell here (so far). It's not an uncommon story (in fact, more common than successful relationship stories) and I wanted to tell it for Heero and Relena. What's more, I didn't mean for Heero to be seen as a villain in this story. I also know what it is like to be in Heero's shoes on the other side of the fence and that's not easy either! Heero's lack of social awareness and habit of keeping things to himself makes him behave more coldly to Relena (and others) than he should, but that's part of the conflict and character development in this story, so please don't assume that I'm writing for some kind of personal revenge and displacing my anger at someone onto Heero. (but even if an author does write with that kind of cathartic intention, who are you to criticize them?)

What's more, this is a completely different kind of story than Final Mission Status. Heero and Relena might as well be different people in them. In this story, you know Heero doesn't love Relena. If he doesn't, he doesn't; that's how it goes sometimes. But Heero is still a mystery in fms. I think it's unfair that you would judge both stories by the same bar and accuse me of transfering stupidity unto Heero in BOTH stories because of some (wrong) assumption about my personal life.

I do appreciate your review. But in the future, try not to make assumptions about my personal life and slam my integrity as a writer. Even if you didn't mean it that way, it came across offensively. Just be careful how ou phrase things and try to be more polite.

And yes, if you want to know, there is something similar to what suggest in the workings of furture chapters.

Ouch!! :x There are better (less offensive) ways of expressing that opinion.... *grumbles*

Failed relationships (for whatever reason) can be valid sources of inspiration and in general give a more realistic feel to stories. Let's face it. Men/boys can do stupid things and ruin relationships. So can women/girls. No one's perfect. It happens and it's painful.
?I always know you?re about to say something very sweet or very stupid when you use my full name??

Why yes, I am a saucy wench. :-P

I just want to congraulate you on a chapter well done. I loved the dress Relena was wearing... In my mind it kinda reminded me of Charlize Theron's oscar dress she wore once to the oscars (The Orange Retro Dress).

I also love all the emotions you pulled into very emotionless characters (I find them very emotionless in the anime. I don't know if it was cause a guy wrote it or what?).

Again I can relate to that. It's really hard to stay friends with someone you love so much but they want nothing to do with you.

Thanks for updating. I read this on www.fanfiction.net but I hate them right now so I refuse to review on them so I was glad when I woke up that this was here. I'm gonna go to work now.

Aw, thanks, guys! A reviewer lost on ff.net... oh well. It's nice being able to reply on blissful ^^. And don't fret, Morrighan. I didn't say they would NEVER get together, just that I had a break up in mind when I began. As for whether or not they will... honeslty, I'm not sure. I have multiple endings in mind....

::Sits in a circle, as though playing Duck, Duck, Goose::

"Sad... Sad... Sad... HAPPY!"

::Runs around the circle and gets to the empty space before the happy ending can reclaim it::

Oops! Oh well. Since the happy ending has nowhere to go, I guess you'll just have to use it in your story.

I'm sorry. I'm in a good mood today, and so I guess I'm getting a little silly. Regardless, you know what ending I'M rooting for. However, I know I'll enjoy it, no matter what you decide. :D
