Ah! That ep! I was so affected by that episode that I couldn't bear to watch it! The first time, I skipped the part where loki discovers mayura 'investigating'. Bit too much for me. I couldn't see Mayura in pain...
Mayura and Freyr...ummmm....not a pairing I'd ever support. Freyr's handsome and all...but I don't see them together...
The kiss? I could scan it, I think, if I could get near a nice scanner this week. I know some sites who has manga scans...I'll look that up...
The blond guy would be Koutaro or Kou-chan, as Loki calls him. Similar? I guess when Loki's in adult form, he's a bit like Kou-chan. Girls flock around him...(ooohhh...loved that part when Loki grew up the first time)

The eps is one that really hits home on certain levels. But it also holds a lot of sadness with it for me considering that's the day I learned my aunt died and she and I were close.
I already stated that I don't support Mayrua x Frey. You can already tell in the anime at least that she doesn't see him as anything more than another friend.
Mayura x Narugami (sp?) though I wouldn't mind. Hell I'm just the type of girl that likes to hook the lead female up with all or almost all the males. I'm a lost cause.
And the OP and ED of the series is just damn spiffy if you ask me. And please send us the kiss!!! We'd love you for it! ^____^

Well last week I managed to re-watch the entire series (I skipped a few eps though but it was mainly because I knew I wouldn't miss much). I did very well during eps 24 thankyouverymuch.
I forgot that Heimdall kisses Mayura though. Does that happen in the manga? I've always wondered about that kiss. Don't ask me why but it always stuck with me. Also, do we know what Heimdall looks like in adult form or is he always in a child form?
I love the end. In some ways it almost seemed as if Mayura calmed down about the whole "Fushigi mystery!" @.@ look. It was cute though. ^_^ I also like how Verdandi was shocked when Loki said he wanted to erase Mayura's memory. I think that she was able to see something between the two that no one else did or didn't want to. And then he can't even go through with it. ^___^ That makes me happy. Though Yamino-kun seems to sense something between them too or at least he himself cares for Mayura's well being enough to drag his own father over to her place in the middle of the night to apologize despite his father's and nii-san's protests.
But you have to admit, Loki was a prick to the girl for a long time. In some ways I don't think he deserves Mayura. Also I forget where I read it or who wrote it but they brought up the possibility of Loki becomming a bigger god than Odin because of Mayura since she is a shrine maiden/priestess in some ways. Then of course Loki gets all the assassin's (even Heimdall to an extent) to stop coming after him and that's the reason Odin wants to destroy Loki. Or something to that effect was written. I wish I could remember where I read that so I could post it for you guys. Bugger.
Also Melrose, I will be reading your fic I just need to get rid of the ADD that comes to me these days when it comes to reading fics. I'm getting so lazy when it comes to reading. *sigh*

About the kiss Heimdall gives Mayura, yes, it did happen in the manga! You should see Loki's face when Heimdall kissed Mayura. I swear, it was hilarious.
And about the MaLoki kiss...I got a friend to translate that part and it turns out that Loki kissed Mayura because when Heimdall kissed her, the kiss had magic...Loki kissed her so he could remove the magic from Mayura. The look on skuld, thor and the fisherman's face was priceless. They jaw-dropped. ^__^
And yes, I'll scan that as soon as I can. I can't find any decent scanner. Dang my (MMX) PC!
I want to see that one, wicked. That's a very interesting theory...and yeah...I do like the scene when Yamino dragged Loki to apologize to Mayura. Oh...and one speech I couldn't forget was when Loki, seeing mayura in Hel's arms said, "She has nothing to do with this!" But Hel replied, "Yes, she does...This girl's tears will cause (or was it give?) you pain." Oh yes...Hel definitely saw something between Mayura and her father...

Question, who has released the manga? Is it in the States? I've been hoping for it for a while, but I've never seen it on any of the bookstore shelves.
I think ADV (am I right) has it...they have it liscenced but I'm not sure if they have released it yet....
