My "muse music" is the Final Fantasy Tactics OST. It's soooo prettty o_o

Sometimes I need silence to write, although I always need music to draw. Usually then I'll just turn on Japan-a-radio or load everything I have into winamp and set it to shuffle ^_^

One of my friends is in dire love with the FFT OST. I really need to check that out, LOL, though the music I've heard in just playing pieces of the game sounds great to me.

I dunno why, but sometimes when I listen to some instrumentals, I think of the best plots... Chrono Cross music is good.

Well, I'm an absolute nutter for music that it's hard for me to really choose, but here goes:

Lenny Kravits: Again, American Woman, Fly Away, Stillness of Heart, and many others
Toni Braxton: Spanish Guitar, Find Me A Man, Un-Break my Heart, and many others
Santana: Samba Pa Ti (HEART ATTACK!!! :D ), Smooth, Corazon Espinado
Sarah McLachlan: I Love You, Last Dance, Building A Mystery, Witness, Fallen
Dido: White Flag, Thank You
Sheryl Crow: My Favourite Mistake, I Shall Believe, We Do What We Can
Musicals: Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Annie to name a few
Soundtracks: Don Juan DeMarco (esp. Bryan Adam's "Have You Ever Really Love A Woman?" *sighs* ), Lion King, Shakespeare In Love, Gladiator, Matrix etc.
Other Artists: Selena, Evanescence, No Doubt, Garbage, 1950/60's motown, 1930's jazz and cabaret blues, rhumbas, Caribbean reggae, Jamican dance hall, and almost everything else imaginable.

I love my music. *_*

Oh this is so my element. I almost always listen to music as I work on my fics (or doing homework, for that matter :D). I usually set my huge favorites mix on random and listen to whatever comes on; if the track doesn't suit the mood, I just skip it. :D

Some of my inspirations:

Sarah McLachlan
Dido
Evanescence (what I'm currently listening to :D)
Shakira
Jann Arden
The Gundam Wing Soundtrack
t.A.T.u.
Alanis Morisette
Garbage
Liz Phair
Shania Twain
The Chicago Soundtrack

Why yes, I am a saucy wench. :-P

I have to listen to music when I'm writing.....otherwise I can't write (okay maybe I can but it's easier with music)

I think the music I listen to when I write has to go with the mood of the story.

Happy Storie: listen to Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, The Cars, The Ramones.

Drama Stories: Delirium, Hole, Incubus, Poison, 4 Strings.

The lists go on but thats the general idea

OH MY GOD PEOPLES!
those are great songs/music/bands/singers! :D

I only collect soundtracks.
Y'know, Titanic, Grease, Romeo & Juliet, Star Wars all episodes, John Williams, Land before Time  , Crounching tiger, hidden Dragon, Moulin Rouge, Gundam Wing and numerous movies, shows and anime :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
I do listen to other music, I just like the soundtracks more.

I can't listen to a whole soundtrack--otherwise I start writing about that movie/tv show.

Thats a good point Nights Red Rose.
But instead of writing about it, I slip into dream mode and stare at a wall thinking about it.

hello i'm new here.
i like to try and find music that i can link to certain parts of my story and it helps me get into writing the section and i can exercise my imagination more easily.

btw could i get comments on this little bit of the story i'm writing please:
"A large flaming symbol flashes across the sky a second dragon with four legs falls through it head first to the ground, it glows brightly, motes of light fall upwards from the dragon form leaving behind a middle aged man with dragon wings. He snaps into consciousness and throws his hands at the ground. His fall slows and he lands gently on the ground."

umm ok i think i went off topic at the end... sorry
