I must admit, as diehard as I am about 1/R I do love seeing the occaisional Trowa-Relena hook up. And there is some nice fanart out there featuring them too, (one of my favorite that I've found so far in fact is a 3xR pic).

I always got the impression that Trowa was just much more. . . gentle than Heero. Plus definitely better emotionally adjusted. (

Sorry Heero, but it's true.)

Yes, he's the man of the century. I'm not obessed-not to say that being obsessed is a bad thing-but he just tickles my fancy(not for young people to read).

Anyway, as far as the relena-Trowa thing goes...i just can't come to see it. They look awkward to me.

Zechs is definitely hot. His attitude needs a serious adjustment, but he is hot.

Ummmm, as for the 3xR thing.

It's my second favorite pairing. Where I have issues with 3xR is, well, Heero. I can't really enjoy it when Relena chooses Trowa over Heero, I'd rather he be dead. Although dead really bites for me, too.

I've WRITTEN a lone 3xR fic (and one itty bitty 2xR), and have often thought of writing a one-shot here or there... It's just when I get to the part where Heero doesn't get the girl, I want to go wash my hands, and clean my whole head out with soap.

And mostly my reasoning behind it is that Trowa can emotionally take it. He has before and gone on (Midii Une), whereas I truly believe that Heero will only love once in his lifetime, and it can only be Relena.

So, for me to pair 3 and R up after the point where she CHOOSES Trowa over Heero, it's like dooming him to a life of solitude and lovelessness. Whereas Trowa, the sexy dog, could totally go get it on with Une. *wink*

The other option, Heero falling for someone else, I despise. I can't read it. I want to start yelling at the fic, and I cringe cringe cringe something awful.

But that's just me. I can read and enjoy Relena by other pilots but not Heero with someone else.

I think the problem's probabely gender-specific.I feel just as Rose feels......only in reverse.If Heero ends up with somebody else,and it is done well and believably I can enjoy it.Not so with Relena x anyone else(glares at Wicked).

But I have to agree that if she did end up with anyone besides Heero,Trowa'd be the best bet.And it's not because Trowa's a "kinder version to Heero."Puh-lease.Trowa lost his memory and mellowed out.Maybe if Heero lost HIS memory and was cared for by Relena,like Trowa was by Catherine,maybe we'd have heard wedding bells in future shot after EW.

I say Trowa because his overall personality is most similar to Heero's,and the fact that he didn't disappear at the end of EW Special Edition(the three part vers. has Heero watching over Rel from the shadows.Though most authors tend to ignore the fact that the two exchanged maybe three whole lines throughout the series and manga.

Oh wow, really? See, I've never met anyone that felt that way. Relena with anyone else is still hard for me to swallow. ESPECIALLY her sleeping with them. I can deal with kissing and dating, but sleeping with someone else does upset me.

I don't think Trowa's kinder at all. He lived as a mercernary while Heero grew up an assassin. I think that Heero's kinder, he just doesn't know how to show/express it, whereas Trowa grew up with at least another band of soldiers and had met Midii Une, a girl, and had developed relationships with other people - unlike Heero. So that I think the difference between them is that Trowa has more of an insight into individual human nature than Heero does, as evidenced perhaps by his ability to anticipate the E.A. commander's strategy early on in the series. "Although the commander's actions are technically correct. In this case..."

Heero has seen really only the bad side of human nature. So he's capable of reading the evil in people, and that could very well be why Relena is so important. When the director/producer said that Relena represented to Heero all that was good left in the earth, looking at it from the perspective of Heero seeing humans as essentially selfish, evil creatures fueled by their own desires to dominate, that statement has a whole new meaning.

Oh, i don't ignore it. BTW, my 3xR was AU. But anyway... I think that though they didn't exchange more than a few words, it was obvious that Trowa respected her. Relena knew his name from searching for him, and like you said, he didn't disappear at the end of EW. So, it's entirely PLAUSIBLE the two could end up in contact after the war. Same with Quatre, though.

I think the 2nd more LIKELY pairing in terms of people Rel knew, is probably 4xR. But I cannot STAND it. It's too boring. Poor Quatre...

With Trowa, there's less difficulty, unless you throw Heero into the mix. *cries*

It just really should be 1xR.

All right! What's the deal with ragging on me!! Yes I am the Hentai HERETIC and I'm dern proud of it! *grumbles*

I will forever and always want Trowa as the center of attention (my love for 3xR is evidence). I don't ignore the series or the manga and Trowa's lack of communication or contact with Miss Relena. I just choose to move beyond it, speculate, let my heretic mind percolate if you will.

As stated previously in Ryan's review where we confused Rose with Melodrama, I can see Relena potentially hooking up with any of the G-pilots. It's all speculation and the like. I don't mind her being with other men at all so long as she's not portrayed as a slut or conniving bitch. However, I do find it--despite my support of Trowa--hard to swallow when she's not with Heero because that means that Heero's with someone else and that IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

Heero can only be with Relena. Relena can have her pick of the litter. Double standard you say? Yes it is and I wholly support that one too!

*sigh* Why do I even bother?

I'm going to go sulk in the Alt. Forum.... At least I'm appreciated there!

Could it be that you're a closet Heero lover :-? ?It would explain why Heero is often left alone in Alternates.Pair Rel off so you get the man and all that.

Me a closet Heero lover?!! *dies laughing* I like Heero, and as I'm loathe to admit it he and Relena belong together. However, I do enjoy exploring the abundant possibilities presented with Relena and the other pilots. I can't explain why I don't want Heero with any other women. Maybe it's a woman thing like maybe it's a man thing that you can't handle Relena with other men but Heero's up for the taking.

Is it also because we try to live vicariously through these characters? *shrugs*

No no I do not want Heero all to myself, that's why I love Trowa. He's my number 1 with the other 4 smushed into the number 2 slot.

At least Trowa knows where to go.

And if Wufei keeps talking like that I'm going to have to make him suffer a bit. Duo...well that's Duo and he'll be tortured properly. Quatre must die. Plain and simple. But only after I get into his will.

Nope, i like Quatre paired with Lena or Cathy. No one else. I am also the type that like Relena paired with mostly anyone (cept her brother Just like Cathy with Trowa irks me as well) but i dun't like it when he is paired with another female... Tho i handle it
