Night Two, What?s Happening?
?Do they know?? Wufei murmured into his lover?s hair.
She murmured back a groggy, ?Nope.?
His eyes darkened a little. ?They have no idea what?s been done to them??
She shifted on his chest and raised her head to meet his eyes. ?No. What?s wrong??
He looked away towards the wall. ?It seems wrong to me.?
Sally brushed a hand along the side of his face, running her fingers across his brow and then down over his eyes. She watched as his eyelids slid closed and admired his almost constant state of validation. Despite what Heero and Relena thought, they had a true friend in Wufei. And Trowa. And Livia. And Zechs.
She sighed. ?In some ways, it is wrong. But it some ways, it?ll be good for them.?
He opened his eyes. ?Maybe. But Heero and Relena aren?t like the rest of us.?
Sally placed her head back down on his chest. ?I know. They?re lucky.?
Later, after Sally lay asleep in his bed once more, Wufei stood by his bedroom?s only window. He gazed up at the stars and thought briefly of his home colony, but immediately pushed the thought away. There were more important things to think about now. Less painful things.
There was no question that Sally was the light of his life. He simply wasn?t ready to admit it yet. Not like Heero. Heero had thrown all doubt aside and married Relena. That was a day he remembered well. Right after the reception was the first time he and Sally were together. The first of many.
The secrecy was exciting at first, until the day Relena unfortunately walked in on them kissing in Wufei?s office. That was when they started meeting in less noticeable places, like the closet Relena and Heero had been locked in earlier that day. That was the same closet Duo had originally discovered him and Sally in not so long ago, and naturally everyone knew about it by the end of the day. But they left him alone. He expected them to make remarks of some kind, but they didn?t. Sally believed that Wufei had threatened Duo into secrecy, and Wufei believed that Duo finally understood something about him. Duo was married, after all. He knew the power of a woman?s love.
Returning his mind to the present, he thought about what Sally had said. Perhaps what was happening was good for Heero and Relena, but that still didn?t justify the means by which things were being done. The two of them were being spun around in circles, and neither of them knew for sure what was going on. Not even Duo and his co-conspirators knew. The more he thought about it, the more Wufei was certain that the only ones who really knew what was going on were Trowa, Livia, and Zechs.
Which brought up one big question: Why?
They had arranged to build a house for Heero and Relena because they were having a baby. That?s understandable. They built a security system into the house to keep them safe while they adapted to their new life. Also understandable. What he didn?t understand was why they were egging on the whole ?celibacy? course Relena had taken, and why Relena had spent the whole day with Livia?s friend, Jake.
Whatever they were up to, he hoped it ended soon. Being denied the woman you love isn?t something you just get over. It?s also something that makes two days longer than two days.
Suddenly feeling as though he was starved for the sight and feel of the woman not ten feet away from him, Wufei turned and went back to bed.
They?d gone out with the intention of having a late night, romantic dinner at their favorite restaurant, but things didn?t turn out that way. Relena had decided to take the dark booth in the very back, where two of the overhead lights were out and the employees had insisted they not sit there. Her intentions had been romantic. Heero?s were erotic.
Beneath the table, Heero crouched between her knees and ran his hands up her legs. She'd skipped wearing stockings in preparation for her romantic plans, but discovered that her plans had backfired as she felt her husband's hair brush against her inner thighs. Just after the long awaited sensations of pleasure began to spread through her body, the waiter arrived to take their orders. It was quite tricky to order when she had to disguise several moans as hesitant "ums" and "hms."
After the waiter had gone, with Relena not remembering what she'd ordered for the two of them, she put the strap of her leather purse in her mouth and bit down as hard as she could. The last thing she wanted to do was cry out. She'd already buried her fingers in Heero's hair and attempted to pull him closer to her. She didn't want to give him the satisfaction of hearing her in pleasure as well as feeling her. With his tongue.
She closed her eyes and let her head roll back on her shoulders as her body reached that plateau of pleasure and fell right off, sending her mind spiraling off into a place of bliss. Two days is a long, long time.
The best thing about two days without much physical contact with one's husband is how much that contact means to you when you get it back. The slightest touch of his hand was extremely exciting throughout the entire dinner, and he knew it. She knew he must be enjoying it after what she'd put him through, which wouldn't have been so bad if he weren't so jealous and possessive of her. It really is the thought of being denied the thing you want most that makes it so irresistible.
Two days. They only lasted two days.
But at least she had her answer now. Heero wasn't going to leave her. She wasn't sure what the others were trying to do, but she just wanted to know how Heero would react to different situations. Like Jake. She'd spent the whole day with Jake to try and figure what was wrong with her. Now she knew.
As they paid their bill, the waiter winked at Relena, causing Heero to glare back at him. The waiter quickly turned away and went back to his duties, while Relena playfully smacked Heero on the arm. They went outside to where the "casual car" was parked and spent a good fifteen minutes trying to pry themselves off each other before getting in it. It felt sort of like they were experiencing it all for the first time again, as if their honeymoon had never ended and they were simply making it more exciting. They held hands the entire time as they drove to Livia's apartment. Trowa and Livia must be there by now, and Relena wanted some answers before she and Heero set off on their little vacation.
She wanted to know why Jake had been brought into this, and why he was still pursuing her if he was just supposed to make Heero jealous.
\\\\\My apologies for the lack of content, but I wanted this chapter to focus on information rather than action. And hey, you got lime, and part of the big explanation. That makes up for it, right? Right?
Oh, by the way. I got an inspiration for an alternative fic I may be writing soon. Probably a 2xR or 3xR. It can go either way, but I think I'll let the readers decide as it progresses. But, I promise I will finish my other fics first. Promise.
Or at least I'll try really, really hard. :-? Promise/////
