Well....if you intend to horrify the rest of us GW fans by advancing this.I have hust one thing to say.......
Could you at least pair Heero up with Noin.If you're gonna do such an out and away pairing,I hope you're not letting 01 end up on his lonesome......again.

By the by,this idea would work with just about any pilot,but I guess that since Trowa is the current trend,you'd want to start with him.Maybe in a coupla months when he's been tossed aside for Quatre or Wufei we'll see a similar idea pop up.........provided of course you even finish this one(snickers).

But seriously,that is something of note,don't you agree.Anywho,PLEASE 1x9,1x9.If there's one Alt pairing I truly like it's 1x9.If you're gonna have Rel meet Trowa first.How bout having Heero hide out at Noin's base.It'd be fun to see Noin agonise over two reticent soldiers who've caught her heart and..........(whap)

To Ryan: *Glare* :evil: Be glad i do not moderate this forum. But, as Naus said, to each there own. I definately do not agree about the Heero/Noin idea. Not at all. Unless Wicked or Naus would like to also change Zechs and Noins positions/pasts' then i suggest it not be done. At least not in this fic. Ryan, your faith in us astounds me. I wouldn't have Heero alone, and we will decide what to do with him. There are still many Duo/Lena fics about, you obvously do not look, seeing as AP's are not your thing, and seeing as this is an AP forum, i'd prefer you'd keep to yourself a bit more. Sorry if i am taking slight offense when i shouldn't, but i do not like it when some one suggests certain things ("if you intend to horrify the rest of us GW fans " and "provided of course you even finish this one(snickers).") If you do not want to read the fic, nor want it around, simply do not read it, and keep comments about it to yourself. Critisizing something that does not yet exist is something i find very annoying. I will stop here on that subject, because i don't want to babble much more, leading to a rant.... As for Trowa/Lena being a trend... Hardly. And would you even know? If you were jsut joking about anything you have said in your past two posts here, i'll just ask you to make it more obvious.

Wicked/Naus: Well, i know i will need to find my descriptions of the episodes. Now we must decide how and who will start. May i suggest talking through IMs and/or email from here on about the fic, and writing it of course. We could just leave this to those who have an (wanted or unwanted) opinion on the idea, and/or wish to add ideas, maybe write where we get stuck. Things like that. I'd read this fic no problem, but I have to agree with Ryan when he said that 2xR has died down a bit, and 3xR has become more popular. That's not saying that it won't continue to be popular though. I have another comment to make to Ryan on who you'd pair Heero with.

I honestly cannot picture 1xR. Heero and Noin? It's sorta gross in my opinion. She's four years older than him, and that makes a HUGE difference. There is no way that they'd get together. Plus, she's stuck on Zechs. Anyway, I too, don't want Heero to be left alone, but I'd rather that you don't pair him up with Noin or Dorothy. You could create a character for him to be with...

I don't think I'll respond to your comments. Trowa may be a trend to some but he's always been my number one pilot. Maybe the reason you don't see many 2xR's out there is because Duo isn't all that easy to write as some believe and maybe because there aren't any writers who can put out a quality 2xR. Thank you for inspiring me to write more Alt. pairings! *hugs* Oh wait, I said I didn't think I'd respond didn't I? *sigh* Well I lied.

Slow writer? Meet the slower writer: Wicked. It's all good so long as what we put out is quality work that makes the nay-sayers shut up (in admiration of excellent work), take a good look and see the possibilities.

In regards to Heero being left alone.... I don't know how I feel about it. It depends on where we put who and all that. If we basically just switch Heero and Trowa, then I say leave it be and make it ambiguous as the show. Anyway I'll leave the rest of my thoughts for later.

My personal opinion is that re-telling the series is not my cup of tea. If GW is so fundamentally flawed that it needs to be re-written, then why are we even fans of it. I find it disrespectful, in a way, to the creators when people go through and just re-write entire chunks of the show in order to suit their pairing preferences, but as someone said, to each his/her own.

I'm shutting down this topic because it has gotten unfriendly. I don't think that what Ryan said was all that bad, personally, though it could have been a bit more tactful, and the "snickers" may have been a bit out of line. This IS the Alternatives forum, you guys are free to like 2xR/3xR whatever. But let's be respectful to each other, and let's remember that no ONE viewpoint on this is either right or wrong.
