Relena's Rival-prologue (revised)

Post by Akasha »

Relena?s Rival

Akasha

I don?t own Gundam wing or the characters. They belong to their respective owners.

AN: It?s a slight AU story. I might have some lemon amongst the later chapters?not sure. There will be lime (of course), and at the moment it?s rated-PG.

Prologue

Roses are red
Violets are blue
My life?s incomplete
Without you
-(My little creativeness)

It was the middle of spring, middle of April, when it all happened?when she appeared out of nowhere. Professor Dean Claude was conducting an experiment having to do with pinpointing a certain object from another time and zapping it back to his present time. He?s been successful in bringing back plants from different origins, but never would he have thought it would work for a human being.
Jalise Dales, a twenty-four year old college graduate, was an accident. Jalise lived in a century unknown to them?the 31st century. She had everything going for her?until that un-fateful day?

AC 204

?Dean! What in god?s name is going on here??

Dean?s colleague, Brandon Wey, walked into the vast laboratory and was stunned at what was before him. A large mass of darkness occupied the receptive dome. In the middle of the mass, a small light appeared, and it seemed to?ve been growing larger by the minute. Dean turned and looked to his friend.

?I tried getting a Red Peony for the exhibit, but something else got in the way??

Brandon radioed for the other four scientists and walked to Dean?s side. He checked the main computer and did a scan on what it picked up. A few moments later, the other scientist came rushing in.

?What happened,? Dougan requested.

Brandon tried to respond but couldn?t get a word out of his mouth. The two rods that were at both sides of the glass dome began to glow and electric bolts surrounded the two metal bulbs at the top.

?What?s going on,? Dougan shouted. He pushed past the speechless professor and looked at the monitor. He became pale and speechless at the moment he saw the screen. The computer picked up a feminine human form.

?A?human?? he choked out.

?What,? the remainder of the group responded in unison.

?Look.?

The electric rods emitted the amount of energy needed to transfer the object that was hit. Two thick bolts of electricity shot out from the poles and to the middle of the dark mass. The dark became light and a human form appeared in the middle of the dome. There was a huge flash of light and a large BANG that could be heard three blocks away from the research facility. All went black.

31st Century AD?3201 AD

Jalise tried her best to be interested in her best friends frenzy with flowers, but now wasn?t the time.

?Dawn, listen to me, I have a flight to catch to New York, and it leaves in two hours! My family?s meeting me at the airport.?

?I know but look, it?s just for thirty minutes, and then I can have you rushed to the airport in an ambulance.? Jalise sighed.

?If I miss my flight, you?re paying for the next time I come back, and you?d better find some way for me to get there pronto.?

Dawn half dragged half-pulled Jalise into the huge flower house. Basically you could say it?s a greenhouse, but there were nothing but flowers around. Jalise loved flowers of all kind. But now wasn?t the time. After they made their entrance, Dawn dragged her towards the new arrivals?the Peony collection.

?Dawn, I really?? Jalise was stopped by the beauty of the flower. It was in full bloom and looked like a ruffle sleeve, but only prettier and it was huge. The diameter ranged anywhere from 2 to 3 feet.

?Wow?it?s?it?s beautiful,? Jalise whispered.

Dawn smiled. ?See, I told you you?d like it. Now wait here, I?m a go and get-?? She was interrupted by a sudden shake and a bright flash of light. Jalise fell backwards onto a huge display of red peonies and was taken by the aroma. But the force was so harsh, that it knocked the wind out of her. When she landed on the flowers, the aroma took place of the oxygen, and she passed out.

Dawn stood up to see that a column of white light was directed onto her friend.

?Jalise, get up!? she yelled. Jalise didn?t move, and when Dawn was about to go and get her friend, she disappeared.
