[Poem] Trapped

[Morrighan]

<b>Trapped</b>

A void separates us,
Driving a rift between us,
What once was is becoming no more.

Was it even there in the first place?
Now I don?t even know.

Questions fill my head.
Why, I ask,
But no one answers.

I question harder,
But no one wants to answer.

Why, why, why.
Cease the torment;
I?m drowning in the stifling air.

I don?t want to be alone.
Someone free me from this gilded cage.

I?m tired of this silence.
I need to break free,
To right the wrong taking place.

My purpose gone,
Lost by this wrong doing.

Will no one come and catch me?
