One summer night, we ran away for a while

laughing we hurried beneath the sky

To an obscure place to hide

That no one could find

One summer night, Relena sat in her garden, away from the ball that was going on inside, she sat there star gazing; she smiled when she saw a shooting star, and was instantly reminded of a certain Gundam pilot. She closed her eyes and smiled fondly at the memory of the first time she held him to her, that was two years ago, two painful years of waiting for him; a tear slid down her cheek, she sighed sadly and let it run down her face.

She jumped when she felt a finger gently brush her tear away; she spun around and crashed smack into none other then Heero Yuy himself, wearing a black tuxedo with tight pants and silk shirt that did nothing to cover up his firm, muscular body. He smirked and pulled her away from him gently, ?He-Heero?? she breathed, all he did was smile warmly, Relena gaped at his beautiful smile and the fact the he was standing right there in front of her sense so long ago. Heero turned his head to the side slightly and smirked at her shocked expression,

?Well are you going to say anything or just stand there with your jaw dropped?? he asked quietly, seeming to lack all of his normal monotone voice, instead sounding natural and kind. Relena shook her head clear and snapped her mouth shut,

?Heero? You came back? Why?? she asked skeptically, he broke into a grin,

?For you? he purred, her jaw dropped again but she quickly snapped it shut again,

And we drifted to another state of mind

?W-What ever do you mean?? she asked, Heero broke into a charming smile and approached her slowly, he lazily dragged his fingers up her arm and rested his hand on her neck, caressing her cheek with her thumb as he moved a little closer, he placed his other hand on her waist. He gently rubbed her cheek and neck again and smiled once more, Relena felt electricity from their proximity, she began to feel her temperature rise, ?God does he even realize what he?s doing to me? How can someone look so? so? sexy!? she pondered and swallowed nervously,

Weak in the knees wrapped in the warm, gentle breeze

?I came back so I could tell you how I feel? he said softly, Relena was too stunned by his openly affectionate gestures to do or say anything, Heero locked his eyes with hers, she could feel herself drown in his beautiful orbs,

?Relena?? he said seductively, making her flush, ?I realized I can?t stay away from you, I care too much? he said and moved even closer, she could feel his hot breath on her skin, she closed her eyes momentarily, trying to focus on the conversation and not on how intoxicating and arousing he?s being

As we drifted to another place of time

?What are you saying?? she asked, opening her eyes, she lost herself in his eyes again and almost had to concentrate on breathing correctly. She took a sharp breath as he leaned forward, she quickly turned her gaze to the ground, this was way too much, sense when did he act like this? Heero smirked and lifted her chin,

?I?m saying I love you? he said and silenced any thoughts or words that might have began forming with a long passionate kiss, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her body against his, Relena?s knees buckled and gave out, luckily Heero caught her and kept their lips locked, he smiled into the kiss and nibbled tenderly on her bottom lip, Relena gasped and Heero quickly pushed his tongue into her mouth, he smirked when she moaned softly in his mouth, Heero reluctantly pulled away slowly, Relena stared into his eyes flushed and dazedly.

Reluctantly we said goodbye

The orchestra began playing and the music drifted to them, Heero smiled and stepped back, he bowed slightly and pulled one hand to his back and the other he put out ?May I have this dance?? he asked Relena blushed and took his hand, she smiled brightly at him and he returned the smile. Heero pulled her closer to him and began to waltz, he moved with the music gracefully and expertly, she began to feel dizzy as the music picked up pace, he twirled her and brought her to him, ?You ok?? he asked

?Just dizzy?? she said and smiled warmly

?Want to stop??

?No? don?t let go?? she whispered and hugged herself to him,

?I won?t? he saind gently and smiled, he spun around with her, she began to feel weak again and slumped, he caught her and held her to him, he slowed down the pace and rocked them to the steady rhythm of the music, Relena laid her head on his shoulder and he rested his chin on the top of her head.

?I could stay like this forever?? Relena said absent mindedly, Heero smiled and closed his eyes

?Me too??

?Stay with me??

?Mission accepted?

And we left our secret place so far behind

And I lay in bed all night and I was
