The Sand Prince

A.N. Hey! I love writing this fic! Its sooo fun?. Any ways on with the story??um?I recently watched lord of the rings?..so if anything seems influenced by that movie?um...sorry?

Last time-

?You can?t possibility believe you could beat me with a breakfast tray, Princess. Now come with me and your hand maiden won?t get hurt.?

Sakura?s eyes widened. ?He thinks I?m the princess?. That means he?ll take me instead of Hina-chan.?

Chapter 5- Captured

Neji shut the carriage door and spun around and unsheathed his sword ready to face the oncoming attackers. Captain Kakashi appeared beside him, smirking.

?Bet I can take out more bandits then you can?.. ? Kakashi said knocking out a sneaky bandit who had come up beside him with his sword hilt.

Neji glanced at him and then at the man he was fighting distractedly. ?You?re on?..?

Kakashi grinned and disappear. Neji ran the bandit he was fighting through with his sword before turning to face his next opponent. The man was dressed completely in black and had dark eyes that some how seemed familiar, almost exactly like his rival.

The bandit attacked him with speed and agility that was surprising to see in a bandit. He was caught of guard, and had nearly missed have his head severed from his neck. The bandit continued to lunge at him and Neji could only block,. until he spotted an opening. He swiftly dodged the bandit?s attack and darted his sword in to the opening near the bandit?s chest, the sword cut only a shallow cut. The bandit growled.

?I think your losing your touch?, Neji?

Neji?s eyes widened he knew that voice?the voice of his long time hated rival from the Uchiha Kingdom. But what was he doing out here attacking them?

?Uchiha, what are you doing out here??

?Leading my men into battle??

Neji stared at him. He could not possibly be the leader of Shukaku bandits?. Could he? Neji was going to find out.

Meanwhile

Gaara watched his men execute his plan. The Uchiha prince was good for something at least. He was drawing the white eyed man from the way in front of the carriage door. He watched them fight for a second before turning to look at what the captain of the princess?s guard was doing. He was in the middle of a 10 man fight off a little ways not watching the carriage.

?Time to act.?

Gaara stealthy and swiftly ran past the fighting men and opened the door to carriage and stepped in.

The princess?s back was facing him as she asked the white eyed girl who had spotted him and stopped nodding, what was wrong. Then she turned around and faced him. Her emerald eyes showed a quick flash of fear then blazed anger and a challenge.

She suddenly looked away from him and grabbed a breakfast tray?.No...She wasn?t thinking of doing what he thought she was. She swung it at him. Oh crap she was?. It connected with his head but he felt nothing. He almost laughed. She was really trying to fight him with a tray?.. Him the most powerful in the desert and she was trying to fight him with a tray. Oh she was brave.

That?s when he decided to speak.

?You can?t possibility believe you could beat me with a breakfast tray, Princess. Now come with me and your hand maiden won?t get hurt.?

He watched her consider what he said. The girl who was sitting down look confused for a minute before she stood up and was about to say something before the princess put a hand over the girls mouth and whispered something in her ear. Then the princess turned to him.

?I?ll go with you?? he pulled her to him wrapping his arms around her waist. She struggled a bit before realizing he wasn?t going to let go.

?Wait...I...? was all the white eyed girl could say before the princess spoke over her cutting her off.

?I promised to protect you?good bye Hina-chan?Lets go ...? She said to the girl called Hina-chan and then to him.. He growled.

?No one orders me around?? he picked her up and jumped out of the carriage and began to weave around the fighting men to get to his horse he heard shouts. He felt her start to struggle again.

?Neji!? She shouted.

He was arrived at where his horse stood waiting for him calmly. He threw her on and climbed on after her.

?Let?s go!? He called to his fighting men. The stopped with their fighting and raced to their respective horse and rode off with Gaara in the lead.

A few minutes before?

Neji growled as he faced Uchiha.

?When did you become their leader??

?That?s none of your business?.?

With that said he lunged at Neji again and Neji block and they continued to fight for a while more.

?Why are you doing this?? Neji finally panted. They were at a stand off, both men panting and sweat beating their skin. The hot sun beating down on them, extracting energy from them?

?Why? You want to know the true?? the Uchiha smirked

?Yes??

?NEJI!?

Neji spun around at the voice of his love calling his name. He saw her in the arms of a man who was carrying her toward his horse.

?Sakura!?

? Heh ?you sweet on that girl?? Uchiha asked before he stabbed Neji in the back with a dagger.

?Rule 2: Never turn your back on an enemy.?

Neji fell to the ground.

Uchiha bent down so he could see Neji eyes.

?Just so you know? I lied ...The leader of the Shukaku bandits isn?t me but the man carrying your woman??

?Lets go.? A man?s voice called out and Uchiha?s smirk got bigger.

?Well...Neji?Guess I?ll be seeing after that wound heals huh? If the sun doesn?t kill you first?. bye?? Neji watched Uchiha?s feet walk away.

?I need to go save Sakura?? he thought before falling unconscious.

Sakura eyes felt as though they were leaded down with sandbags. Her captors arm encircled her waist and pulled her against him.

?Sleep woman?.?

?No...And my name is not Woman it is Sakura, use it!?

?I do not like to be ordered around?woman. I told you that before, did I not? Now sleep you are tired.?

?No I?m not. And I don?t like to be ordered around either. ?

?Yes you are? Do not lie to me or make me angry unless you wished to face the consequences.? He whispered into ear, she shivered feeling his warm breath on her ear. She felt his tongue brush the tip of her ear, make clear what the consequences would be.

?Now sleep??

Sakura nodded not wishing to anger him and face consequences she wasn?t ready for.
