Plus that touch of yuri I wasn't exactly expecting, FMP:s been so... well, chaste when it comes to anime. Oh well, shounen series, gotta love 'em anyway.

I'm on episode three, and the show always manages to blow me away at the last 10 minutes.

FMP! TSR is really living up, but I can't wait until they catch up to Owaru Day by Day ><

and I also think I'm the only one that can't stand the theme songs. They're are crap in comparison to the last two series, imo.

Yeah, BakaKozou has released Episode 3. It's another one without much Chidori/Jindai High School stuff, but it was pretty good with plenty of action. Things seem to be falling into place to lead into the events of the next novel, Owaru Day by Day. I just hope that they don't meander too much getting there, because I'm kind of hoping that they'll be able to cover the next couple novels in this series as well.

Also, just out of curiosity: is TSR in a later timeslot than the first series or something? Not only did the scene with the sisters in the previous episode seem a bit more explicit about nudity than fan service scenes in the first series or in most TV anime, but the violence in this episode seemed a little more graphic as well. It doesn't bother me at all, but I did find it odd. It seems to be a small departure in tone and target demographic from the first series, and a huge departure from the kiddified Fumoffu. Not that I'm complaining: I prefer the more mature aspects of the main plotlines to Bonta-kun goofiness. But I suspect someone drawn into the franchise by Fumoffu would find it a bit offputting. Thoughts?

I believe this is airing around midnight on WOWOW.

Well, FMP isn't a clean cut show. I mean, Fumoffu with its sexual jokes was a little out there for the youngins too.

edit: I also made a FMP!TSR/ODBD/OVMC/TOMO fanlisting -> http://www.aoi-tori.org/tsuzuku/

check it out :D

Episode 4 is out.

BakaKozou seems to have the quickest release and some of the better translation. I'm told that the Mithril fansub group has the best translation but slowest release. Don't know about the other groups.

Yeah, BK is a good group. I'm on a forum with a lot of the people working on the project, and I know one of the translators, so I know first hand how good they are. Some of them also work on the Bleach-Society releases of Bleach, so if you've seen any of that, you know what kind of quality of expect.

It was also cute watching Kaname cut his hair.
