Session #1: Haruno Sakura</center>



The news cast sat there patiently as they awaited the number one star for the day. They had appointed Haruno Sakura?s present on the phone and she said she would stop by around 4 PM. It was already 4:05, so they weren?t sure if she had changed her mind or something had come up. It was unlikely though that she would say that she had forgotten the interview, because they knew that Sakura was a very smart girl who wouldn?t just forget about this so easily.


?Ano sa?gomen nasai minna-san?? Sakura stepped in the room quietly, bowing her head in apology. ?I had to pick something up and then after that, there was traffic so I couldn?t come on time.?


?It?s okay,? the head reporter smiled and gestured her to sit down. ?The interview won?t take so long; we?re the Konoha news writer; like we said on the phone. We asked you to come here because-,?


?You themed this month?s genre as ?Valentine Romance?...so you wanted to interview me about my relationship with Sasuke. I already know, your co-worker explained to me.? Sakura told him and sat down quickly. ?Though?I don?t know what to really tell you??


?Ah?well, not much Haruno-san.? He shook her hand and pulled out a notepad. ?Now I?m going to ask questions, if you don?t want to answer them then you can just pass them, okay??


?H-hai?? the young girl nodded nervously. She wasn?t sure if what she was going to say anything stupid or nerve-wracking, other then that, she just didn?t want to get herself in trouble. Sure, it was obvious that the whole village knew how much she loved Sasuke-kun?that?s why these people had called her out, right? But the problem was, the feelings that lied between her and Sasuke were even unknown to her self.


?Haruno-san?I?ve heard that you?ve stayed dedicated and loved Uchiha-san all these years?would you admit that these rumors are true? Or have you moved on???


?Eto?? Sakura fumbled with her fingers, not really sure what to answer back to the reporter. ?I guess that?I would say that I love Sasuke-kun?no matter what. It?s been?um?six years?what?s waiting a little longer going to do? I have not and will not ever deny that I love Sasuke?and,? the kunoichi searched her head on what else to say. ?I?m quite sure that?I will never give up on him.?


?That?s some confidence Haruno-san,? he noted as he scribbled what Sakura had said down on the note-pad. ?Now another question?why do you love Uchiha-san so much??


?I-I?guess you can say that its love at first sight?or?maybe childhood love.? She answered simply. ?Since I was very young?I was in love with him already. Not because of his appearance, but when I was put in his group when we were Genins?I learned so much about him through that time. How brave he was, hurt?sincere?distant,? her eyes twinkled, ?it just makes me happy thinking about why I love him?because there are so many reasons.?


?We?ve heard that Uchiha-san is single?but he won?t go out with anyone. What do you think of this??


Sakura blushed, feeling slightly uncomfortable. ?I?well?um, I?m not really sure what I think. Maybe he?s just?not interested in having someone to love right now?and you know how Sasuke-kun is?he loves to train?so maybe he?s busy doing that?? She mumbled, feeling quite stupid.


?Ah?I see?so do you think Sasuke-kun will or ever return your feelings??


The question was quite personal, like the rest of the questions he had asked her. This one though?Sakura felt the most dumb-struck with. What could she say? The kunoichi wasn?t sure if she would actually answer his question or pass it. All these questions were about Sasuke, well of course; but?it made her feel sad that this was like a game?something to amuse people so they wouldn?t be bored about their dumb lives?but when they would read this in the news article, would they feel her emotions or just a bit of pity for her? ?I don?t think so??


?Well???


?You?re so annoying.?


The lonely phrase echoed in Sakura?s mind. Those three words hurted her so much, it just pushed her to the thought that there was no hope for Sasuke and her. All he thought of her was a comrade?maybe less. She knew that she always got in his way when he wanted to do something?like go with Orochimaru, escape Konoha, even maybe kill Naruto?but Sakura couldn?t let him do that. He was no murder; even though he was an avenger awhile back?Sasuke was an avenger only to kill his brother.


Sakura knew very well that that was all he thought about?and that was his dream in life. It was to kill his brother ? and after he had accomplished that goal, everything was going to be back to normal. Sasuke-kun would be able to live a regular life?and not kill with such hatred again. Maybe he would be able to open up to people, and start to make friends more. It was all in Sakura?s head?


But now, the kunoichi just forgot her hypothesis she had made so long ago. He didn?t change one bit?that Sasuke. He did not open to anyone, even her. After he had come back with blood smeared over his skin?clothes?and injuries inflicted on his body?the boy did not care one bit.


After Itachi had died, Sasuke was only enveloped in loneliness. Having no goal now?all he did was train and work to be a better Ninja. Sakura rarely spoke with Sasuke now because he was more cold and bitter than before?it was so hard for her to even look at him because all he did was give her a scowl and told her to leave him alone.


?Sasuke will never return my feelings?? Sakura stated sadly, but she encouraged herself to go on. ?As much as I wish, he will never love me back?that?s the way he is?but I?m glad that, at least he approves me of continuing to love him.?


The director looked at his interviewee strangely but nodded. ?I see?and so, why don?t you move on?? If you already know he won?t return your feelings for him?why do you continue loving him??


Sakura smiled gently and placed her hand near her heart. ?Because, I can never move on and love someone else?to me, it?s just not right. My heart is for him?and I will give up everything for him.? She tried to control her voice, ?I know that there are tons of girls out there that love Sasuke-kun?but I can guarantee to you that I am the only one that will love him for eternity?I will continue to stay by his side, even if he pushes me away. No matter what, I will risk my life for him, to protect him?I know this seems a bit too much, but?that?s how much I love Sasuke-kun.?


?You seem to want to give up everything for him, he?s a lucky guy then.? The reporter told her honestly, and moved on to the next question. ?Now?if Uchiha-san ever read this?or ever saw this?how do you think he would react??


?I?ano?? Sakura sighed and relaxed her fingers. ?I?m not really sure?I know that Sasuke doesn?t read any articles?so he might not even know that I?m talking about him.? It was a relief, until something else came up. ?Demo?what do you mean by ?watch?? I thought this was for the??


?Well, at first I thought so but?you see ? I apologize?it just seemed much better to catch this on air. Don?t worry though, your not the only one interviewing for us?we made a few special ?episodes? of this months? Valentines Romance. It seems like the Hokage seemed to have a wide interest to shoot it on air??


?Tsunade-sama??? Sakura wanted to smack herself in embarrassment. Now everyone would see what she looked like when she answered these stupid questions. What if Sasuke-kun saw this? What would he do?? Would he hate her? Conclusions formed in her mind and the girl almost wanted to run out of the room. ?Kami-sama?don?t let him see this, onegai??


?Ano?Haruno-san??


?I-I?m alright?? Sakura forced herself to smile. ??for now.?
