Lost- a 1xR Fanfiction Challenge

The theme of this challenge is that Heero and Relena (and other characters if you desire) are lost somewhere. The location and conditions are of your choosing. Be creative! There are more places to get lost than the obvious ones. It must somehow be a 1xR romance fic- but that too is to your liking, whether you want it fluff or angst or drama.

Limits: 7000 words maximum, no minimum
Restrictions: Can be multi-part or one-shot but MUST be finished to be submitted

Other notes: This may eventually be judged, but you will be notified if it is. All stories will be posted at Scenes From An Italian Restaurant located at http://stupid-girl.net/scenes

To submit: Please send all stories to scenes-submissions@stupid-girl.net WITH the subject line "Lost 1xR Challenge Entry". I get too much junk mail to go wading through if you don't subject it.

First Sentence Swap

This one is a little more laid-back. To participate, you need to email me the first line of a new 1xR story to scenes-submissions@stupid-girl.net WITH the subject line "First Sentence Swap Submission". Try to make the first line something unique and out of the ordinary, and long enough that a story can be formulated from the details of it.

Also, I will need an email address that I can mail your sentence to, so if you want it to be something other than the address you mailed me from, please specify.

The deadline for sentence submissions is going to be July 15, 2005, because I'll have to get everything done before I go on vacation at the end of the month. Once everyone has submitted a sentence, I will randomly distribute them so that you get assigned to someone else's sentence, and then you get to write a short 1xR story using the first line you were given.

Limits: These should be *short* stories so the limit is going to be 3000 words maximum. This is a great way to stretch your creativity and challenge yourself to think outside of the box! Plus, things like these always get you churning up new story plots and ideas afterwards...

Other Notes: All stories will once again be posted on http://stupid-girl.net/scenes. These too may be judged, but no word on that yet. Right now it's just for fun.

Getting very interested in the Lost fanfic challenge?but how much time to I have to write something? same deadline as the Sentence challenge?

Good point, I forgot to post a deadline. I want people to have plenty of time to get stuff written and good plot ideas, so I was thinking perhaps the end of August, beginning of September? Do you guys need more or less time for that? Let me know!

August or September works for me ^_^ I think I'll definitely try and give this one a go. I'm not too good at short stories...they have a nasty habit of becoming epic ^_~
