Fighting Dreamers ; Part Three

Shino

Shino hated the rain, like every other person.

It reminded him of darkness, of being cold and numb,

"Shino kun, help mother and get some eggs."

It reminded him of the being of being here.

Alone.

He had to be strong, his mother's life was in stake. She wasn't his real mother, but she was damn close enough.

Right after the Haku incident, Shino joined Sakura's gang. Which had always put him to question.

Who was the sixth member?

There was Sakura, Kiba, Ino, Naruto, Haku and who else?

Certainly not him.

"Shino kun! Help me shop for my Mom, okay?"

"Sure, Sakura."

"Hehehe."

He knew he would have to tell her soon.

"Wheres' everyone else?"

"What do you mean? You didn't think I would have everyone come here just to buy eggs with me, right?"

No matter what.

"Come on, Shino! Smile! Okay?"

"Yo, what's up, Shino my man?"

"Hey, Shino! Want to get some ramen with me?!"

"Hey Shino, is my hair better up or down?"

"Hey, let's go to the movies! Okay, Shino?"

He would tell them.

"I'm glad you're with us, Shino."

...and, he would kill them.

Neji's gang

"Neji!!! There you are! What took you so long?!" Ten Ten screamed.

Neji glanced at Ten Ten. Ino sat down next to him and looked at Lee in disgust.

The bowl haired boy had a strand of noodle in his hair and around his mouth was sauce.

Ten Ten, on the other hand, was holding a tea cup and had an aggressive face on.

"Drunk on tea again, Ten Ten?" Neji asked.

Ten Ten drank another cup in one gulp and glared at Neji.

"Y-You k-now what!? Y-You really are..." Ten Ten knocked her head on the table and was soon asleep.

"Don't deny the power of Kakashi Tea," Lee said simply and he grabbed a plate of fish.

"How long have you guys been here?" Ino asked, she brushed a noodle off her shoulder.

"We lost count after three hours," Lee said and he looked over at Neji, who just shrugged in return.

Ino fumed, and then she felt something drop on her head.

Grabbing it, Ino realized it was a piece of paper, looking at it, Ino stared in question.

"A reciept...?"

"Take care of that for me, will you?" Came a lazy voice.

Ino felt a vein appear on her head.

"SHIKAMARUUU!!!"

Shikamaru and Chouji began to high tail it, but Ino was too quick and threw two bowls of ramen at their heads.

"HEY!" Lee yelled.

"Man woman..." Shikamaru muttered, but only got another beating from Ino.

"Who are they?" Lee asked.

"My dad's best friend's son." Ino put simply and she sat down.

"Come ooon, Ino. Chouji ate too much than what we can pay," Shikamaru stated, he pointed to Chouji, who was unconscious.

"No!" Ino yelled. "Hey, Hatake senseeeiiii!! Shikamaru wasn't going to pay again!!!"

"Shut up, Ino..." Shikamaru whispered, but Kakashi's figure was already looming over him.

"Crap," Chouji stated and he stood up.

"The regular?" Kakashi asked.

"I guess..." Shikamaru said.

Kakashi smiled and snapped his fingers.

"What's going on?" Lee asked.

"It's a rule at Kokoro Cafe. If you can't pay, you have to defeat three ninjas to pay for your meal. OR you could clean dishes." Ino smiled.

"Will they be okay?" Lee asked.

Ino smirked. "They'll be just fine."

Three ninjas, each with a headband on, walked in through the door.

Shikamaru gawked. "This isn't fair."

"Whaaat? Shikamaru again?! I need a new job." The red haired one said.

"Honestly, I should just get my brother to deal with you," Said a blonde one.

"Whatever, let's just fight." The black haired one said.

Ino sighed. "He fights the same ones each and every time."

Lee gaped. Neji smirked.

"Takuya, Temari, and Kin."

Shikamaru inwardly cursed and stood next to Chouji. "Remember the plan."

"Right," Chouji said.

"Shadow no jutsu!" Shikamaru yelled and he put his hands into signs of animals.

A shdow suddenly started to creep its' way towards the three girls, but they weren't stupid.

Temari yanked out her fan and stuck it into the ground, then she threw a kunai at Shikamaru's direction.

Dispelling his jutsu, Shikamaru rolled to his side and behind Ino's chair.

"STUPID! DON'T GET US INVOLVED!" Ino screamed. A kunai was thrown next to her neck.

Chouji multisized and rolled around the resturant. People were now getting up and running, but not before getting knocked out by Kin, who ordered them to pay before leaving.

"Ino, I need your technique." Shikamaru said.

"What!? No!" Ino protested.

"I need you to get into Temari's mind," Shikamaru continued.

"Shikamaru! Did you hear what I said-"

"I'll give you a signal," With that, Shikamaru ran back into the battlefield.

Ino twitched before getting up. "Damn it!"

Neji looked very amused.

Time to see what Ino is good for.

Shikamaru jumped over Chouji and kicked him up, then, he used his shadow jutsu to capture Takuya and Kin, but the two moved away.

Then, Chouji's shadow got into Shikamaru's shadow, thus making it lengthen.

Captured.

"Temari! Help!" Kin yelled.

"Right!" Temari got up with her fan.

"Ino!" Shikamaru signaled.

"You owe me!" Ino yelled. "Neji kun, take care of my body!"

Lee then started to yell out random fighting phrases just at the excitement of the battle.

"Mind change no jutsu!" Ino yelled and her body fell into Neji's arms.

Temari suddenly froze and she looked at Kin and Takuya.

"Temari! What are you doing!?" Kin yelled.

Temari smirked. "Hatake sensei! Shikamaru wins so can we call this off?"

Kakashi sighed. "I guess no one can beat the Ino-Shika-Cho group. Shikamaru, you win."

Shikamaru took back his shdows and Ino got out of Temari's body.

"Kin, round up the customers and make sure they pay," Kakashi said and he, along with Temari and Takuya went to the kitchen.

Kin nodded and dissapeared in a puff of smoke.

Ino blinked her eyes before sitting up in her chair again. Stratching out her arms, Ino sighed.

"Now I'm tired."

"Thanks, Ino." Shikamaru said casually and he started out the door along with Chouji.

"You owe me!" Ino called over her shoulder.

"We know!!!" Yelled Chouji's voice.

Ino smiled and sat leaned back into her chair.

Neji smirked, so, this girl was good for something.

...and so were the other two.

Naruto

"Back off, loser! I'm not telling anyone about my sister!" Naruto stuck his tongue out.

"How long as he been like this?" Zabuza asked his faithful henchman, John.

"About an hour, sir," John replied. "Should we start up the gas chamber?"

"No, this guy knows we can't kill him, much less harm him." Zabuza said.

"DAMN STRAIGHT!"

It was a small room, there was black tile everywhere. A stream of light settled on Naruto's face, which was bleeding from the temple.

"Yondaime sure left an aggressive rebel," John stated.

Naruto sneered and crossed his legs.

"You look pretty confident, kid," Zabuza noted.

"You'll never find her, not Ino. Plus even if you do..." Naruto looked up to the cieling. "I promise it won't be easy."

"How so, kid?" John asked.

Zabuza's eyes narrowed.

Naruto leaned his head so he was looking back into Zabuza's eyes.

"As much as I hate to admit, it's because she's got a kick ass boyfriend and the Ino-Shika-Cho."

Kiba

"I ain't telling you nothing!" Kiba yelled.

"Listen you, if you don't know where Ino is, at least tell us where Sakura is," Harry demanded.

"BITE ME!" Kiba yelled.

Akamaru, who was in a cage next to him, barked.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!" The guy yelled.

"It's the Sharigan group, isn't it?! That's why you want Sakura!" Kiba yelled back.

"This is going no where..." Harry sighed.

Kiba smirked and tipped his chair so he was against the wall.

"Hey, the room behind me is Narutos', right?"

Harry sighed and before leaving, turned off the lights.

A pitch black room.

Kiba smirked.

"Hey, Naruto!!!" Kiba yelled.

"WHAT?! I'm trying to sleep!" The voice from the other side yelled.

"Just making sure you were there!" Kiba yelled.

"Think they're going to torture you soon!?"

"Probably!"

"Good luck! The electricity hurts like hell!"

"So I've been told!"

BARK!

On the other side, Zabuza twitched.

Damn them.

Sakura

"State your purpose."

It was an oriented room of numerous knick knacks. There were no windows and the place only illuminated by a single cnadle. From the rooftop, you can hearthe splatter of rain falling down to its' death.

Sakura gulped and looked at her hands, which was rested on her lap.

"Do you...remember me?"

Silence.

"...yes. You came here four years ago demanding me to let Neji go."

"Yeah, I did."

Silence.

"What do you want," Hiashi demanded.

"I want to ask of the same thing."

Hiashi sighed.

"Do you recall our deal that we made four years ago?"

Sakura smiled.

"Yes."

"It was that you give Neji a thousand paper cranes."

"Yes."

"And that you had to deliever them to him at the right time."

"I waited for you."

Sakura's eyes shadowed.

"I remember."

Hiashi turned around and faced a family picture.

"You never came."

"I know."

"Just like you thought I never would, I did."

"It was raining, just like today."

"I know."

"I'm going to say this once."

"'Don't get in our way, right?' I know. You told that to me last time, too."

"Good, I'm sure you rememeber where the door is."

"Give me another chance."

"No."

"Please! I can't stand him being hurt over my actions!"

Eyes narrowed.

"You did that to Hinata?"

"N-No, but it was my men who started the brawl! Then, she just happened to get into the cross fire..."

Sakura suddenly bowed.

"Please! Ju-Just punish me instead of Neji!!!"

Hiashi stared.

"A thousand paper cranes..." He whispered.

Sakura looked up, Hiashi picked up a stick.

Putting her head back to the floor, Sakura shut her eyes.

"Don't give someone hope if it's fake," Hiashi said. "Are you ready?"

"Y-Yes."

"Follow me to the kitchen."

"What?"

Hiashi turned around, his eyes showed no emotion.

"You're going to experience the pain he felt everyday until now. Metal whips on the arm, mind torture, everything. if you do all that I'll stop."

Sakura's eyes widened.

"...okay."

"Say it again!"

WHACK.

Sakura grabbed her arm.

"OKAY!"

Neji

"You want...Shikamaru and Chouji in your gang?!" Ino yelled. "B-But he's lazy and..."

"Smart; smarter than Haruno even. Get them to join, Ino. It's an order," Neji said dully.

"Whatever!" Ino threw up her arms in defeat.

They were all outside the Kokoro Cafe, now. Ten Ten's body was slung over Lee's shoulders', she was asleep.

Lee smiled.

"That was a good dinner!!!"

"I'm sure it was!!!" Ino yelled.

"Neji niisan!!!"

Neji looked up and his eyes narrowed.

"Hinata?" Lee looked. "HINATA! IT'S YOU!!! DO YOU REMEMBER-"

Lee was pushed out of the way and Hinata was not breathing really hard, in front of Neji.

"N-Neji niisan! It's about Sakura san! She's...right now..." Hinata began.

"What about Sakura?!" Ino asked.

"I don't care," Neji said. "Go back to the mansion, it's raining."

"Neji!" Ino yelled.

"Neji niisan, you don't understand! She's being disciplined by Hiashi sama!!!" Hinata yelled.

Neji froze.

"...what?!"

Hinata gulped. "Father is doing every kind of descipline method he used on you to her! Every one of them!" Hinata yelled. "Please, Neji niisan! He won't listen to me!"

Neji growled, then, he took Hinata and sprinted to the Hyuuga estates.

"Follow him!!!" Ino ordered and she ran.

"Wa-wait!" Lee yelled, but he slipped on the rain and because of Ten Ten, fell back.

Neji cursed as he felt the rain hit his face.

"A thousand paper cranes! That's all I have to make to get you free, Neji!"

She was doing it again.

"You'll wait for me, right?"

She was trying to help him when he didn't want it.

"One down! Nine hundred and Ninty-nine to go!"

Damn it, Sakura.

Hiashi and Sakura

Sakura whezzed and leaned her head back on the wall.

"You have three more whips on the arm to go," Hiashi said.

Sakura stared at her right arm, which now had red lines all over it.

"Ri...right." Sakura said and held her hand out on the tile again.

"Be thankful, with Neji I use a metal stick," Hiashi said.

"How many whips do you do then?" Sakura asked weakly, Hiashi struckt her again and she screamed.

"One time," Hiashi said. "You get six."

"One? Aren't you nice..." Sakura muttered she bit down a scream when another blow was enforced on her arm.

"I don't want him dead," Hiashi simply answered.

Sakura smiled weaky.

Suddenly, the kitchen door burst open and from the corner of her eye, Sakura saw a blurry figure walk towards her.

"Hi-Hiashi sama! What is the maning of this?!"

Sakura smiled.

"Hi...Neji..."

Sakura saw the blur kneel down next to her.

"We had a deal," Hiashi said simply. "Now get away from her, she has one more whip left."

"A deal!? About what?!" Neji demanded.

"I'm sure you already have an idea," Hiashi said. "Now, leave."

"No." Neji said.

Hiashi's eyes narrowed.

"Are you going against me?"

Neji looked at Hiashi, his eyes were determined, fiery.

"Yes."
