I am curious Elyn, how would you work out Heero having a twin?

Stellar-soldier, it sounds like you have a great mind for causing the audience to stay on the edge of their seat. Do you do a lot of action scenes?

However, here's a twist: The Endless Waltz manga has no such line.

The simple abolition of weapons such as mobile suits cannot be met, well, at least not that simply. Much like the real world, with our growing inability to limit the proliferation of nuclear weapons, mobile suit proliferation would make sense. Such a setup as a 3rd or 4th party group in a story line, lets say.. Quatre's resource mining business were to be taken from him by a sudden hostile take over. From there, you have an extra party that would have the wealth and resources to make a simple 'good VS not-so-good' story all the more interesting, and at the same time, more down to earth. Kinda taking real life situations and using them to create the beginnings of a blood bath that would make the Universal Century series death stats look like a joke gives me that giddy school girl feeling.. or something like that.

If our story is during the timeframe following the original series, SS has a really good point. Really good point. And it follows modern history so it's not too far of a stretch. Remember those Battlefield of Pacifists scans I hooked you up with? There were underground mechas being processed. Granted, that was before Endless Waltz, but how can mechas be irradicated if you don't know the location?

hmmm. i think we need to have the preventors go around the word fininng old bases and stuff and destroying them. see the scene where sally and wufei are lokking for them at the end of EW?

wow. this series hasnt even started yet and its getting more and more interestig already. i think peach makes a valid point with having the preventers go around finding all the old mechas and destroying them but on the other hand having a take over would make things interesting and would allow a faction to creat mechas once again therfore creating the need for the preventers to have mechas of their own again.

Ok. Here is how I would rig a twin to the perfect soldier...

Elyn Yuy is actually her name. . . (before I started BI posting, I had a great idea for a fan fic about her and Heero meeting) She and Heero were taken from their family the when they were 2 years old. Their father was assasinated (he is actually the original Yuy that started the war. There basically was a play ground for the kids while the parents did the speeches and meetings of delegates and such. Odin Lowe found them after the incident. At the time it was all chaos. There mom was trying to find them after the initial shock of her husband shot. Priorities first you know? But Lowe grabbed them up first. He was the actual killer of Yuy if I remember correctly. It was in the manga. one of them... Anyway, he takes the kids and decides to train the boy and drop the girl off somewhere at an orphanage or something. But she is taken in by a mercenary group with a need for troops to train as well. They both are raised in wartime areas. Elyn killed her first person at the age of 6, due to the guy's incescent need to get his kicks. Blah blah, blah...They start the war training. Co workers of the original doctors of the gundam boys train 5 girls, Elyn included. 5 extra gundams are made for them. Eventually there is hiarchy madness and the group ordering the training of the two teams, and the 5 girls are to be terminated. the female doctors want to save them so they decide to cryogenically freeze them and ship them into a solar orbit for 15 years. . .One of the girls gets away however, and is never heard from again...Elyn's cryo sleep pod goes haywire...She is awake for 5 years, able to watch from her pod, the docs working in the ship.

Duo eventually finds the ship 5 years later, after the war, about 1 year after EW, and gets held captive by Elyn...Sorry! I'm spouting up my whole story. This is basically what I had in mind for the twin's side story... It can change a bit to meet the whole new series though, if you need.

If the Gundams themselves are to make any kind of reappearance, then it would probably be best for story's sake that they are held back from mentioning until at least the 6th or 8th chapter, and for their combat debut at around the 9th or 12th chapters. If one were to follow Elyn's pattern for a second group of female gundam pilots, it would also be best if their mobile suits either be at 10% strength in their initial debut, otherwise, it would kill off the importance of the original 5 gundam guys.. unless you were planning to do it that way. On a lighter note... lets have Relena put in some sort of severe coma from an attempted assassination... have the now 'humanitized' Heero Yuy suffer for walking away from Relena (MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... -cough-). It does also serve for a more useful role as to cause great amounts of tension within the ESUN, as their most prominent figure is turned temporarily into a vegetable.

um. ok. i think the twin thing is a good idea for a fic, but not this one. it needs to fit in with the magas as well as the series.
I'm not trying to snub off anyone's ideas. but i think that the 'new mechas in place of gundams' gig has been done already a million times in other fics. there could be a few new mechs as part of the threat but not as an entirety. the mobile suit thing has been done, but the new threat could be a development of some completely new weapons (here's where we need something completely unique to set it apart).

Another thing, we are all fangirls here or boys and we all love the GW crew. but for the sake of the plot we may have to let a couple of chsracters die. none of the pilots. maybe zechs or noin (i have a thing about killing noin ) or hilde etc. I have plans for lady une.
#If anyone has ideas for this new weapons tech thgat will pose such a threat, gimme details. i have one idea. Ever seen goldeneye? well. there are two satelites vuilt by the preventors. one gives of a negative charge of counteractive ions against the combustion process used to fuel mass weapons. the toher is its twin, used to neutralise the other if it is misuded in anyway, giving off a ray of positive ions. The positive blast on its own simply hort circuits anything within its range.

But there is a mole that holds a high posistion in this (guess who) and she manages to get hold of the codes eventually. she's going to useit...to destroy the mars terraformations prioject and all those on it. because she doesn't believe in space migratoin. she believes that the people are waging war against mother nature by mobing away from her and the colonists are eating up the preserves of the planet when they dont even live on it. she wans to wipe out everyone in the colonies vbcause she thinks that if things go on like they are then the earth will not survive.
