Very cool idea, guys. I've had so many ideas pop into my head about the Gundam Wing series. I've always wanted to write a fanfiction that went into the past and extended it, gave more information, and smoothed out the bumps that made us go "What?". Example being, an extensive look into Heero's past. Or something like that.

I also agree that it's quite a shocker that there isn't more Gundam Wing being produced, considering it's popularity. That last line on Endless Waltz did crush all of our hopes. But, overall I thought seeing all the characters interacting in their normal lives was a nice sight.

Anyway, just thought I'd caution you. I know you specifically said you guys wanted this to be as non-fiction as possible. Like an actual anime show, correct? Just a few tips. Take what you want, I just thought I'd be of service

Personally, I know I have a conformed idea of the main characters from years of fanfiction reading. If you honestly want to stick to the series, I'd do some research. Watch some old episodes, Endless Waltz, and read the official mangas. You'll notice A LOT. (Lease I did). The characters grow off one another. Very few characters stay 'in character'. They're always maturing, growing, changing. Granted, at the end of Endless Waltz, they're very adult for their age. But, they're also 16. Meaning, there's room for even more.

I also remember reading something one time that mentioned that when the creators made Gundam Wing they weren't thinking about romance pairings but the connection that the characters made with each other. That may answer some questions as to why we didn't see a smooch at the end of Endless Waltz. The creators were more concerned about how Heero and Relena intereacted with each other. Not necessarily their kissing.

Anyway, hope this helps at least a little. I'm sure you're aware of most though, being the diehard Gundam Wing fans we are ^_^

Your input is very perceptive ^^ I can assure you that I am GW obsessed and own all of the comic books made, the full series boxset and the movie. Research for this project I don't see as being a chore by any means

We five write other stories together occasionally, or have posted some work here at BI, and I have noticed very unique talent in each of these ladies. I am excited to get started.

To be perfectly honest, the Gundam Wing series does seem quite incomplete. Endless Waltz simply added more things to be questioned upon.. what happens between Heero and Relena... the remaining members of the Eve Insurrection.. would they stay silent after being beaten in such an embarassing manner, and most importantly would the world ACTUALLY go onto a peaceful route forever (hope not). Although I lack the tallent to write up anything that could prove to be a continuation of the Gundam Wing series, I do believe that the GW series should be continued. Hm.. to be honest, instead of two or three sides of conflict, it is possible to create possibly 4, 5 or more faceted sides in order to make the series more colorful. In order to continue with the trend that follows Gundam Wing, more behind the sceens assassinations, alliance making and breaking can compliment the battles that follow.
