Answered Prayers Part 2 (NC-17)

Post by Iron Dog »

Authors Note: These characters are inventions out of my own sick and twisted little imagination and belong entirely to me. The pairing is het with blood, violence, language and implied male/male sex as well as implied demon/human sex. NC-17 rating applies. I am a sick little puppy and you can consider yourself warned.

A huge thanks to my beta Leia Avenrose. Thank you for making me sound so polished.

Answered Prayers - Part 2

I hung up the phone slowly and felt like throwing something; something heavy that would make a wonderful shattering sound when it hit. Phones are tools of the Devil; I?m convinced of that. I only seem to get bad news by the damn things, and the fact that the phone call was from a minion of one of the lower circles of Hell only confirmed it.

I had just been informed that something big was going down. What that something big was, I had no idea and the demon on the other end of the line didn?t want to say over the phone. He said he needed to tell me in person. I had no real objections to meeting with the demon, we had a bit of a history together and he?d always stuck to the letter of the agreement we had. I just had to be careful how that agreement was worded or I?d be in for some severe hurting.

While seriously thinking of chucking the phone against the wall just to see if it would break, I suddenly smelled something that I hadn?t smelled in a week. My annoyance got the better of me and I spun on my heels, heaving the phone at the presence behind me.

I was quite pissed when it missed.

?Ah, Little Mau, what kind of greeting is that to one who worshiped you so well?? Yakez purred as he sauntered into my kitchen.

I glared at the vision of male beauty standing just out of my reach and thought that not only was he gorgeous, but also smart enough to stay out of my reach when I was ticked.

?What has you so upset? You were fine when I last saw you.?

?Last saw me?? I growled. ?That was more than a week ago.?

?You missed me, did you?? he grinned in a sensual, knowing way.

?No, I didn?t miss you,? I lied. I did miss him; well, parts of him anyway.

?It was unavoidable. My presence was demanded elsewhere. I?m here now?? He trailed off as he ran a hand through his hair and struck a pose worthy of a Chippendale?s stripper.

?Fuck off. I have enough shit to deal with without you harassing me.?

?Haven?t we already had this little conversation about language before?? he laughed softly.

I glared at him and tried to ignore the delicious smell that was unique to Yakez. I thought I was doing a good job of it until I felt a whisper soft touch on the back of my neck. My eyelid had lowered, while inhaling his scent, and I never realized when he moved closer to me. Prying my eyes open, I found his face inches from mine. A small smile played at his lips before he lowered his mouth to mine. I really should have protested, but he tasted so damn good after a week without.

I was lost in the sensations of Yakez. Only his lips touched me, but it was the best feeling I?d had in days. Lips as soft as velvet rubbed gently against mine. The teasing friction brought the memories of the twenty-four hours I had spent with Yakez to life in full glorious techno-colour. I wanted him again, simple as that. Damn, this man was going to be hard on my libido.

Somehow, I managed to find the strength to push him away. Okay, so it wasn?t really pushing him away; it was more like coming up for air. I was mad that I hadn?t heard or seen him since that one day and night of incredible, mind-blowing sex. Sure, I wanted to do it again, but I didn?t want him to think I was easy; I had to make him work for it.

?I got stuff to do. If you?re just here for a piece of tail, then you can leave,? I said, moving towards him to retrieve the phone I had thrown at him.

?What kind of stuff?? Yakez asked as he ran his hand over my ass as I bent over to get the phone. I didn?t bend over like that on purpose, honest ? even if it did feel really good.

?I need to go meet with someone. They have information for me that they say is very important to my continued well-being. Apparently there is something big brewing out in the world, but I don?t know what.?

?There are some very strange things happening in the world right now. Ghouls are appearing more often, almost enough to get regular people to notice. There have been several Gates opened that should not have been. Things that came through that were hard to hide or explain away,? Yakez said thoughtfully as he leaned against my kitchen counter.

?Well, that?s more information than I?ve got. Sounds like somebody has an agenda. Any ideas??

Yakez sighed and ran a hand through his hair. Now that I was really looking at him, I noticed that he seemed a little tired and washed-out. He pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes briefly before looking at me again. I didn?t like what I was seeing in his eyes.

?Out with it. My annoyance level is high today and I?m not exactly thrilled about my next appointment.?

?An Avatar was attacked and died two nights ago. Our Goddess is helping the God of that Avatar to try and track down who is responsible. She has had me running all over creation tracking down whispers of rumours. Nothing has come of it.?

?So?what? She sent you here to watch over Her favourite Avatar? Does she think one of Hers might be next?? I asked.

?No. I came because I wanted to see you again and I thought you?d want to see me as well. Was I wrong?? Yakez asked, moving to stand in front of me and caress my cheek.

I wanted to melt into his touch, but I had an appointment to keep with a being who wouldn?t appreciate being kept waiting. I sighed and pushed away from him, heading for the closet to get my coat.

?You?re leaving?? Yakez asked in surprise. I think he thought that a few touches would make me fall into his waiting arms. Boy was he in for a surprise.

?Yup. I said I had an appointment. Let?s just say that the one I?m meeting could make life very unpleasant for me if I?m late or miss it entirely. I?d rather not do that if I can avoid it. You can stay here and wait for me if you want; I shouldn?t be gone more than a couple of hours. It would probably be best if you did wait for me here.?

?I?ll come with you. If this person is so nasty, you may need back up.?

?I don?t think he?ll like it if I bring along a friend. He?s more of a one-on-one type of guy.?

?I am coming with you. I don?t like the idea of you meeting with some man who could be?how did you put it?unpleasant.?

?Fine. But you are going to be responsible for making your own deal of safe passage. He?s a tricky bastard but he?ll stick to the very letter of the agreement you make with him. My only advice is to make sure you don?t leave him any truck sized loopholes he can use, because he will use them,? I said, grabbing my car keys and heading for the door.

?Now you really have my curiosity aroused,? said Yakez as he followed me from the house and got into my car.

?Yeah, and curiosity killed the cat, remember? Just be careful, I can?t tell you any more than that. He wouldn?t like it and, as I said, I don?t want to feel his displeasure ever again. Once was enough for several lifetimes,? I said as I started the car and headed to the address the demon had given me.

Yakez raised his eyebrows at that statement but wisely asked no more questions. The address was in one of the better; read-moneyed sections of the city. It didn?t surprise me. If you had all that power, why would you want to live in some cockroach trap unless you were hiding from a bigger fish than yourself? For this demon, there were probably only a handful of bigger fish than him in Hell. As far as I knew, he was free to do whatever he liked here on Earth as long as he kept corrupting souls to send to Hell.

I pulled up to a heavy wrought iron gate and waited to be buzzed through. The guard in the little booth stared at us as we drove through and I had the distinct impression that he was not sizing us up as a threat, but as a meal. Doesn?t that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? At least I knew the demon I was meeting wouldn?t eat me. Torture me for months, possibly years on end, but not eat me.

I do meet the strangest beings.

?That guard, he wasn?t human. Who, or maybe I should ask what, are you meeting with?? Yakez asked.

I knew he was a bright boy and not just a pretty face. He was going to be seriously pissed when he found out. I still couldn?t say anything, especially this close to the demon. Yakez was about to be pushed off the deep end of the pool and would have to sink or swim on his own. Just one of the weird rules of this demon.

?I still can?t tell you. He would have my hide, literally, for that. You?ll have to work this out for yourself. Just follow good behaviour rules and you should be fine. Remember to word stuff carefully, that?s all I can tell you. You can wait for me in the car if you want,? I offered.

Yakez wasn?t happy, but he got out of the car with me. This was going to be interesting; two dominant males in the same room trying to be top dog. I really wasn?t sure which one would come out on top; Yakez could be just as ruthless as the demon, I was sure. I stepped up to the door and didn?t even have to ring the bell. A stunning woman in the classical French maid outfit opened the door and ushered us in. She took our coats and guided us into a library not far off the main entrance.

?Kenda, how lovely to see you again. And who is this handsome fellow you brought? I had no idea I?d be entertaining more than just your lovely self,? said the tall, breathtakingly handsome man walking towards me with arms outstretched.

?Stiggur, always an occasion to see you. He showed up after you called and didn?t want little ol? me visiting some strange man?s house alone. I tried to persuade him to wait for me, but you know how men can be all forceful when they think they?re protecting something,? I said as I suffered the hug that was just a little too tight for comfort.

Yakez was staring intently at the man before him. I could tell just by the set of his shoulders that there was going to be blood shed if one of them didn?t turn down the testosterone soon. Since it was Stiggur?s house and his rules applied on home turf, I figured I had better try and back Yakez down before somebody got hurt.

?You aren?t human. I would like to know what kind of creature you are,? Yakez said as he folded his arms across his chest and gave his best steely-eyed stare.

?No, I?m not human. However did you guess? Kenda didn?t tell you; she wouldn?t have after her little faux pas the last time. You don?t seem to be entirely human either. How about I show you mine if you show me yours?? Stiggur goaded.

Yakez gave Stiggur a curt nod and shifted into the creature he became when in battle. A delighted laugh burst from Stiggur, and I began to have a really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. It was never a good thing for people when a demon laughed in delight. The people always ended up hurt and bleeding. Or dead.

?I really must thank you for bringing him here with you, Kenda. I could end up granting you a personal favour for this after our meeting is over, if all goes well. I?ve never had one of the Minoush to play with,? Stiggur said as he let his human form slip away.

The idea of a personal favour from a demon of Stiggur?s standing was as tempting as? well ?hell. Dangerous and most likely painful for Yakez, but oh so very tempting. Yakez stared hard at Stiggur before a dangerous smile appeared on his face. I wasn?t sure what was making Yakez smile, but that?s not usually the reaction that Stiggur got when he revealed himself to people. Terror, instant insanity, yes; smiling, never to my knowledge.

Stiggur, in demon form, was about eight and a half feet tall and heavily muscled all over; he was also naked and very obviously male. His skin was a dusky red and long horns like polished obsidian spiked out of his forehead. Claws curved out from his fingers and I knew for a fact that he could strike sparks when he walked over stone on his cloven hooves. A tail that ended in a spade-like tip twitched back and forth behind him. Most of his body was hairless until about knee level, then it became thick like an animals?. Even his voice changed to a deep bass that you almost felt when he spoke. In all, he was the classic picture of the Christian demon form. Who knew they got it so right in the bible?

?I remember you. You were at a battle in the desert of Egypt. You were helping a man who should have not been able to rise to power as he did. You killed many of the soldiers under my command and then disappeared when a lucky bowshot killed the warmonger. I always did want to test myself against you,? Yakez said.

?Guilty as charged, however, I was only doing my job. I?m glad you remember me. It?s nice to be appreciated for your talents,? Stiggur said as he preened under Yakez?s gaze.

?And your job would be what exactly?? Yakez asked as his body fell into a loose stance that said he was readying himself for a fight.

?At that time, I was an up and coming demon and was jockeying for the position that I now hold. I am the Master of the Seventh Circle of Hell. That little battle helped secure my position once I got back home and killed my rival. You were brilliant in battle by the way, I would have liked to test myself against you as well.? Stiggur adopted the same type of posture as Yakez.

?Excuse me, boys, but I believe that I had the priority meeting scheduled here,? I said from my position over by an armchair. I wasn?t getting any closer to the two, fight-primed males; I wasn?t stupid. It was dangerous enough to step between two human males primed for a fight; it was suicidal to step between two near immortal males who were born and bred to fight.

Both men turned to look at me. The look from both of them was not pleased. They really wanted to fight each other just to see what it would be like. How typically male, no matter that neither one wasn?t human. After staring at me for more than a minute and not having me back down, they both looked away.

Hooray, I won. I just hoped I didn?t pay for it later.

?That is what first attracted me to her and made me curious enough to answer her summons. Utter fearlessness of me and what I might do,? Stiggur said as he walked to a larger than normal chair and sat gracefully in it. He may have been huge and scary looking but he was poetry in deadly motion.

?Attracted to her? What, exactly, do you mean by that?? Yakez asked with a warning tone to his voice.

?Ah, so she?s warming your bed now. Is she still the little firecracker that I remember her being?? Stiggur asked as he waved the maid over from a corner to begin pouring tea. Tea with a demon, now there?s something you don?t do every day.

?I don?t believe that my Little Mau would bed down with a demon. At least not knowingly,? Yakez said hotly.

?Ask her. She summoned me and agreed to certain conditions to get what she wanted. I did nothing to her that we hadn?t agreed upon before hand,? Stiggur said as he accepted the delicate cup of tea in his large hands.

?Is this true?? Yakez asked, looking to me.

?Yeah, I had my reasons for doing what I did. It was before I became the Goddess? Avatar. I think that it?s actually what brought me to Her attention in the first place. You have to have a lot of inner strength as well as outer strength to take on a demon,? I answered while trying not to blush. Some things should be left private. I knew that Stiggur wouldn?t though. What can I say? He?s a demon. He?s evil. I already knew that.

Yakez looked at me with a strange kind of speculation in his eyes. I knew that when he got me alone, he was going to ask me what I had thought was so important that I would take a demon to my bed to fix the problem, and not just any small-time demon, but the big, bad, Master of the Seventh Circle of Hell himself. I still think I got the better end of that deal and would until the day I died. It?s also not something I ever intended to share with Yakez no matter how close we became. I had no worries that Stiggur would spill the details and reasons of our deal. He couldn?t. It was part of the agreement I made with him. Only the two of us would ever know my reasons. Not even my Goddess knew the reasons and She?d been inside my head.

I accepted the cup of tea from the maid and took a sip. It was exactly the way I liked it. Stiggur had remembered and instructed his staff. I wasn?t sure if I should have been touched or afraid that he?d remember such a small detail. Yakez accepted his cup and asked for lots of cream and sugar before settling back on the chair he had chosen for himself between Stiggur and myself.

Subtle isn?t he?

?It has come to my attention that there have been a number of Gates opened that shouldn?t have been. This normally isn?t any of my concern, but the last Gate that was opened was one of mine. I had several souls of the damned escape. I have managed to retrieve almost all of them. There are still two on the loose. They will be coming for you Kenda, unless I catch them first. The problem is that they were crafty when they were alive and spending the last decade or so in my little corner of the Underworld has made them even more so.?

Some days it just doesn?t pay to get out of bed. I would have been happier to hear that the final war between good and evil was scheduled to take place that night in the middle of the city?s square with flashing neon lights, clowns and fireworks.

?Do you think they can realistically find me before you find them?? I asked with a hopeful note in my voice that I just couldn?t hide.

?It will be a close thing. I am doing my best to find them and return them to where they should be. They have learned an amazing amount of knowledge in a relatively short period of time.?

?Why would they come for her?? Yakez asked him.

Stiggur just looked at Yakez over the rim of his tea cup. He couldn?t say anything, it would break our deal. Any answer would have to come from me.

?I sent them into Stiggur?s tender clutches. I think they probably feel they owe me for that. Don?t ask me anything else about them, I won?t tell you and Stiggur can?t,? I said as I held up a hand to stop the next question I knew Yakez wanted to ask. ?Who is opening the Gates? Don?t you guys have some kind of monitoring in place for that kind of activity?? I then asked.

?We don?t know. Whoever it is knows how our system works and knows how to get around it. We?re working on the problem but, truthfully, we?re not getting very far. I believe it?s an inside job and somebody with an agenda. You don?t go to this much trouble if you don?t have a higher purpose in mind. Somebody has been doing some long term planning. Why they decided to put it into motion now, I don?t know. I think if we did know that, it would help us to identify who?s behind all this,? Stiggur said as he finished his tea and turned his attention to Yakez.

?Do you believe what he has told you? It could be some kind of trick,? Yakez pointed out as he turned to me.

?Stiggur has never lied to me. It?s part of his charm, he won?t lie. I don?t think he can lie. Omit certain facts or answer only what you ask instead of what you really meant, but never lie,? I answered with absolutely certainty.

?What kind of deal are you willing to strike to leave here with safe passage?? Stiggur asked with a casual tone.

Yakez snapped his head around to stare at the demon. It was obvious that he hadn?t really thought about it even though I had told him a deal would need to be made. I just hoped that Yakez had been around the block enough to protect himself.

?Why would I need to make a deal with you? You haven?t made any moves to harm me in any way,? Yakez said, puzzled.

?Ah, but I had information that I had to give to Kenda that was part of our original deal. She has free passage this time because I asked her to come here to talk to me. If she had been the one to approach me, then she would have to work out a deal to get safe passage from my domain as well. I am a demon and I really can?t let the chance to torment a soul pass me by. You do understand how these things are done.?

I watched Stiggur in a kind of morbid fascination as he started to dicker with Yakez over what would be fair compensation for coming uninvited into his home. It didn?t matter that no violence had been done or that Yakez had come only to protect me. The fact that he had stepped foot into Stiggur?s domain without asking the demon first was what made the deal necessary. Stiggur had explained to me once that to not require his figurative, or literal, pound of flesh would lessen his standing with his underlings. They would see it as a sign of weakness. That could lead to challenges to his position as Master of the Seventh Circle of Hell.

I always hated politics, no matter their origins.

?You could offer me sexual favours. I?m perfectly willing to take that. In fact, it?s one of my favourite ways of securing somebody?s safe passage. I can be a considerate lover. Ask Kenda, she was always fully satisfied before I really started to use her body,? Stiggur said with a fond smile in my direction.

I felt the blush heat my cheeks and couldn?t help the glance to his lap. Even un-aroused he was impressive, almost scary in size. Oh yeah, I was always fully satisfied before he decided to get serious about his own pleasure. There were sexual things that he could do that made me realize why he was so good at his job as the Master of the Seventh Circle of Hell. Believe me; he really enjoyed his work even if it wasn?t always the most fun for his partner when he got down to the business of pleasing himself with his twisted and often painful desires.

?I don?t do men,? Yakez said with a tight voice.

?Not ever? You don?t know what you?re missing. But whoever said you?d be the one doing me? Yes, that can be nice sometimes, but I prefer to be the one doing the screwing,? Stiggur sighed in regret at Yakez?s glare and continued. ?I can?t ask you for a portion of your soul; I?m not quite willing to go up against a Goddess that was known as the Pharaoh?s Vengeance for just a bit of a Minoush?s soul. How about a little torture? Pain can be a wonderful sensation for both the giver and receiver.

?I could give you the most exquisite sexual pain you?ve ever experienced. You would be begging me to stop and continue at the same time. Ask Kenda if you don?t believe me. I know you could take a lot of pain. It?s amazing what the body can endure under expert hands and I believe you would provide me with exceptional entertainment.?

Yakez shot me a look and his eyes actually widened slightly when I reluctantly nodded to Stiggur?s statement. Stiggur was a sick and twisted bastard, but when he wanted you writhing in a combination of pain and ecstasy, he could do it with a skill that was breathtaking. He was so good that even after the pain had passed, you?d ask him to do to you again just to feel the pleasure that went with the pain.

I felt the blush in my cheeks burn hotter as memories of what Stiggur was talking about floated through my brain and I began to feel aroused. Both males snapped their heads around to look at me when they scented it in the air. Fuck. Just what this situation needed, two males starting a fight over a sexually responsive female.

?I see that you can smell how much Kenda remembers the painful pleasure of my touch. We could share her. That would be a glorious experience for all of us. I know Kenda would like it and I?m sure you would too once we were all involved. Who knows, you may even decide that you?d need to feel me in you once you saw how much Kenda enjoyed it,? Stiggur said with a sensuous tone to his voice that I remembered well.

Stiggur was turning the charm on full blast and I was finding the idea of the three of us together very erotic. A glance at him confirmed that he was finding the whole idea arousing as well. A sidelong look at Yakez nixed the whole idea; he was not amused. Not by a long shot. He may have been starting to feel aroused because of who and what Stiggur was, but he was fighting it. I was amazed. I had never seen anyone fight the influence of Stiggur with the amount of success that Yakez was having.

?You said earlier that you would have liked to fight me. How about that? A contest of skill between us. No magic of any kind, just our natural talents in wielding a sword. No blows to kill, as this is to be a contest of skill only. No interference from anyone or that person getting help is declared the loser. We both may assume the form we wish but no switching once the form has been chosen. The contest ends when either someone yields, is knocked unconscious or is too hurt to continue. There should also be an impartial judge for this contest to declare a winner and keep everything fair. The judge will have to be agreed upon by both of us. Is all of this suitable to you?? Yakez asked with a tightly clenched jaw.

Okay, I was impressed. Yakez had managed to cover the basics and keep his ass safe, literally, with probably the least amount of pain and damage possible. I had done just as well with my first deal with Stiggur, but I had a couple of weeks to work everything out before I summoned him. I almost got the feeling that Yakez had made a similar type of deal with a demon before. I was going to have to ask him about that later.

Stiggur sighed in genuine regret. He really had wanted to nail Yakez. It wasn?t a surprise to me. Yakez was one fine piece of man-flesh and one of the sins that Stiggur ruled over in the Seventh Circle were the sodomites. Damn good thing he didn?t rule over the Second Circle of Hell or Yakez wouldn?t have been able to say no to him. The Second Circle was for the lustful sinners and no sexual thing could be denied to that Master.

?This is acceptable, although I would prefer to fuck you and Kenda. Another time perhaps. Who would you choose for a judge? Kenda is obviously not able and I?m sure you wouldn?t want any of my staff acting as the judge.?

?Ares. He is the God of War and he lives for the battle not the victory. He loves competitions of skill. I don?t believe it would take much to convince him to sit as judge over our contest,? Yakez said with a grim smile.

?He would be perfect. I?ll send one of my minions to him with a message. In the mean time, would you like a tour of my home?? Stiggur asked as a small boy appeared in the room and waited for the message from him.

?If you would allow Kenda to speak the message, I?d feel much better about it,? Yakez said just before Stiggur started to speak to the boy.

The large demon smiled and motioned me over to speak to the boy that I knew wasn?t a boy. I made the message as simple as possible. I didn?t want there to be any confusion with the God of War. I had the feeling our wait wasn?t going to be long for Ares to respond. He was a god, but he loved a good fight and if I was any judge of both Stiggur and Yakez, this was going to be one for the ages.

Two battle-trained males were going to work out their sexual frustration and anger in a full on fight. What could possibly go wrong?

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't know when I'll get around to writing the next part as I'm currently up to my eyeballs with one-shot fics for two different contests I want to enter and an ongoing story. I've also found battle scenes are quite the challange and I don't want to take on another one so soon (recently finished another fic had a fight scene). Keep the faith though, I will be adding more to this when I get the time.
