Not One's Choice

Post by Iesu »

Just... Something...

Not One's Choice

Rare are the times when one sits down and truly thinks...
When one sees a life without you and a life with nothing but you...
When one knows that one can live without you but chooses not to...
When one finds out the the choice was never his to make after all...

Was it..?
A man is not a man until he has accessed his raw untamed energy and takes pleasure to his capacity to fight and defend himself. Only then can he transform his blind rage into power to commit himself, to handle tensions and to make difficult decisions. Inner security also develops. It is based on his realization that whatever goes wrong, he can get help from his inner resources, from the basic energy of his aggression.

Very reflective, Iesu. Because I'm reading 1984, everything seems to relate to that novel. This piece really makes me think of 1984 b/c of the issue of choice.

O.k. I'll stop rambling now. Very nice piece. :)

That was cool! I liked the very end, especially. Very thoughtful, very interesting to think about.

Nice. The first line made me think of today's society; its sad how we do things *snaps fingers* like that--without pondering the effects it has. Very reflective indeed...
There are some who say
an array of horsemen,
and others of marching men,
and others of ships, is
the most beautiful thing on the dark earth.

I say it is whatever one loves.
