This is a poem I wrote a month or so ago and is dedicated to Wicked as my Xmas gift to her. Hope you all like it!

"Rainbow Walk"
They said she was magical
This girl who so suddenly
Fell into her mother's arms
They said she was born from a tear
Roused voiceless and curious
God's wisdom in her infant eyes
Her mother's love in her baby's touch
On rainbow roads she went to school
Countless stars in the neighborhood
Everyday she went there
Colorful flowers, her best friends
Red for Mondays, blue for Wednesdays
And on Sundays, as her mother left
She talked to those purple lilies
Sitting so quiet on her balcony
On rainbow stops, a new friend she picked
Sometimes yellow, sometimes pink
Sometimes white, and sometimes black
On Tuesdays, at sundown
She would sit quietly by herself
On balcony railings she would lean
Blank notebook and dark ink
Many words, voices and tears
From God's eyes they spilled
The girl's journey, colorful as it was
A traveler's end pass the grass
Pass waters and white gulls
A new journey awaiting
A rainbow path she'll take
New flowers she'll find
Crystalline waters reflecting
Her loving touch and captured tears
The magical girl's path has ended
A new one will arise
From Heaven's ashes, her mother's womb
She'll walk the friendly path
To the horizon, across the ancient rainbow walk

Man what is it with people who can't stop writing excellent poems?!?! jajajja just kidding, it was awesome.
It made me feel as if I was experiencing my whole childhood once again.
I used to be a very lonely girl...who coincidently loved to pick flowers and write!
weird.....
Anyway, I love how you make her flowers, her friends. It totally makes sense. As if she is this child who is above everyone else, or different, but in a good way.
very nice!!!
keep it up.

It was vague?! Aww! I like this poem... It's my favorite out of the quite few I've written. But thankies, Mellie! It's good to know you liked it even though it was 'vague'.
And Takisha, *laughs* You've just made me laugh so hard! I'm VERY, VERY happy you could identify with it. That's what I'm always going for whenever I write a poem. To have people read it and see themselves in it. Thanks.
