I hated myself for hoping when to all else there was no hope
I hated myself for waiting when there was nothing there to wait for
I knew it all to be true, perhaps even more than I knew to what it was
I knew of her this way, and yet I pushed myself to continue on with the fact
I knew of her too far to reach yet I continued to reach the highest of heavens
I knew of her not as the reason, never the thought, never the moment, never the time
I knew of her as the hope, the memory embedded, the event uncompared, the endless eternity

Of Love and Hate II
A man is not a man until he has accessed his raw untamed energy and takes pleasure to his capacity to fight and defend himself.
