When a Tenshi Falls for a Ronin... Part One

Post by Iesu »

Just something that hit me in the head one day... something of a sort of a forbbiden love... or something like that... not all that great but well, hope you enjoy...

When a Tenshi Falls for a Ronin...

The slow flap of wings echoed upon the horizon, almost like a giant albatross making its way through the open fields, though the sound mimicked the rushing winds, creating the illusion that it was never there. The source of the sound remained hovering by the side of a cliff, her eyes down upon one lone figure, a silent smile slowly moving upon her lips as she brushed a strand of silver blonde hair behind her ear, her blue eyes shimmering slightly with the mid afternoon sun. She had begun to make her ascent when her breath held, her eyes remaining upon the movement of the young figure, his motion containing a slight of fatigue she had been quite familiar to see upon him.
She licked her wind parched lips as she paused her descent, almost the same illusion of the winds that pushed through were resonating from her wings. She shook her head slowly with the moment of observing the figure, a breath of a giggle escaping her lips, moving her arms to cross before her.
The young figure kicked dust off his feet, rubbing his head through his conical buri hat as he stared up slowly the cliff side, a sigh moving out of his lips as he brushed sweat from the edge of his forehead. Clapping his arms together, the sound of bokken gauntlets tapping together almost the only sound that had made its way on the open silence. Squaring his shoulders, he took the first step against the cliff, taking slow steps as his arms pulled him up the mountain side, his feet feeling each and every moment for a good foot hold. Each step he took made his breath even harder as he tried to gain inches up, sweat trickling down the side of his face, itching him with irritation as he gritted his teeth at his own weight. The long and short blades upon his side didn?t help as he tried to shift their weight against his with every gain he had upon the wall.
Quarter of the way from the ground, he took in a breath, his forehead resting lightly against the earth. A grunt rumbled upon his throat as he tried once again to take another step, only to realize a flaw.
The lower earth had been loosened with the movement of his feet, and with the shift of his weight, the soil gave away. He quickly lost his foothold, his arms failing just as quickly, a shout of a swear moving from his mouth as he turned his form, crossing his arms before him to absorb the blow, his teeth gritting one again as he braced for the impact that was imminent, were it only so.
His nose had pressed lightly against the floor as his eyes stared directly at brown earth, his brow furrowing slightly as his head tilted back, his eyes almost in disbelief upon the sun dew haired woman. The winged creature only smiled at him almost mockingly, her arms wrapped around his waist, pulling him even closer.
His lips parted slightly, though only to be stopped by her soft shush, her eyes becoming gentler with each moment as her wings flapped, taking winds that ruffled her hair, making it lift and fall, though strangely enough, into a slow flow, almost like a stream. He could only sigh as she lifted him up towards the cliff top, her head nudging lightly against his hair, her smile widening slowly.
As she settled him down upon the heightened earth, he shook her hug from his, turning to face her as he spoke out in his usual manner, a voice almost devoid of expression, yet still one could notice the slight of confusion as the simple words formed itself upon his voice, ?Nande..??
She shook her head, taking a step towards him, her finger lightly tapping his lips, her voice containing a slight of humor, ?That?s quite a no-brainer, Rand-kun.?
His brow raised slightly, taking her hand by her wrist, moving it to her side though his arm still extended to remain upon hers, his eyes searching hers, almost as if being hypnotized by her enigmatic gaze, trying to find the words to speak out as the only thing that formed was an almost whisper, ?Kamui... kirei??
Her eyes rolled slightly as she moved her held hand up, taking his in reaction by the wrist, moving it to her cheek, letting the roughly calloused hand touch her almost silken skin, the words melodiously escaping her lips, ?Need I have a reason to attempt to know the situation of my lov??
The words had paused itself upon the air as her eyes moved over upon his expression, his head tilting to the side as the crimson moved upon his cheeks, a smile moving to her lips, if ever a smile could be upon a smile, trying to hold back another giggle as she took a step closer to him, wrapping her arms around him, her head tilted up slightly to accommodate his slight height from her, her lips parting to make out words only he could hear, ?What?s wrong? You haven?t missed me??
?It?s only been a month?? He voiced as tried to harden his expression once again, his eyes moving back towards her, trying to add words with his parted lips, but only an escape of breath made its way through.
Her brow furrowed, a small frown forming upon her lips as she released her embrace from him, breathing out in slight protest as her tone contained irritance, ?Only a month?! You mortals have such a short time in this world and you say that it has only been a month?! And you would bear me to think that in one silent day, you could be gone from me?!?
She quickly turned, stepping off towards the distance from him, though only to an extent, his hand quickly moving upon her arm, though his hand was gentle, it was enough to stop her from moving off. Her eyes moved close, trying to stop herself from turning towards his direction, her frown deepening with the furrow of her brow.
He took a step closer to her, slow and silent, his arms moving around her waist, his head resting upon her hair as he breathed in her scent, that very same chocolate scent that he had always attributed to her, that scent that he would never forget. He sighed as his arms around her wrapped even more tightly, with each moment of thought; he could not even conceive another idea, lost in her companionship yet again, as he always was.
?Why?? A lump upon her throat moved down slowly as she thought of the right words for the moment of confusion that they had of the moment, ?Why do you always? sound as if I?m no more to you than? any other woman..??
The words had made its mark upon his heart, almost like a stab of a dagger, his eyes moving to close as his voice slowly gained gentleness, his lips lightly touching the back of her neck, his voice barely a whisper, ?I? You? already know? how I am? around you??
?I don?t?? She voiced back, her hands moving upon his, gentle fingertips making invisible patterns against his skin, tilting her head down, biting upon her lip, trying to hold back the sarcasm she always uses to defend her own emotion from getting hurt.
In truth, she had slowly wished to be this way, even though she knew she was a lot more than the man that was holding her now, she wanted to be the helpless woman in his arms. It was difficult, especially for someone like her, to show him that she needed him, that he was important to her life, that he was a part of her now that she cannot be separate from.
?You? already?? his voice paused, taking in another breath from her hair, her form calming slightly as his hands rubbed her waist slowly, almost as if following the pattern she made upon his hands, ?You? do know? how I feel? don?t you??
She nodded slowly against his head, speaking not another word as she awaited his soft reply, his whisper moving her form to lean more against him, ?It?s not that? You know because? I mean??
She turned slowly, another mocking smile upon her lips as her arms were quick to move around him just upon her spin, her voice a tint of sarcasm, ?What??
His head tilted away once again, trying to find the words as he continued to babble on unfinished sentences, his voice softening until only the movement of his lips was an indication that he still had something to say.
She moved her hand against his cheek, tilting his head up to look to her eyes, her thumb rubbing his lips slowly, her head moving closer to his as she voiced, ?I was only kidding.?
With that, her lips touched his, her head tilting slightly against the kiss. He showed no attempt to pull away as he accepted her gesture, his arms pulling her even closer to him, letting her body rest against his.
A man is not a man until he has accessed his raw untamed energy and takes pleasure to his capacity to fight and defend himself. Only then can he transform his blind rage into power to commit himself, to handle tensions and to make difficult decisions. Inner security also develops. It is based on his realization that whatever goes wrong, he can get help from his inner resources, from the basic energy of his aggression.

Very interesting...beautiful descriptions. I liked it :D
There are some who say
an array of horsemen,
and others of marching men,
and others of ships, is
the most beautiful thing on the dark earth.

I say it is whatever one loves.
