Blame it on the moon.

Just a little drabble thing I came up with when looking at the moon.

Oh yeah, I don't own Heero or Relena but I'm working on it.

It was an old saying in her country that whenever the moon baths you in its light, the world gives you a reason to live. She was never superstitious up until now. All those wasted years searching the deepest parts of her soul for a reason to exist only to find nothing but an empty, eerie space. She wandered around inside herself, and barely noticed that it resembled a grave yard. 'I am already dead' she thought. Her thoughts echoed throught the endless grey feilds. At leas ther echo spoke to her.

She kept on walking, hoping that there would be someone behind the mist. She knew there wasn't, but if she didn't hope then what would keep her alive? So she wandered, and wandered, and not once did her feet loose it's constant rhythm. 'Its a metronome' Relena observed, with not a single blemish in her voice. She came to a halt at the one thing that kept this place from caving in. She looked at the golden pedestal, with the platinum crib on it's apex. 'Heero'. For the first time her voice held a tear, and she became blemished all over again.

Every night she would have the same dream, on the same minute of the same hour, and the same word kissed her lip. That is why she's still alive. Everynight on the same minute of the same hour, she would sink to her knees in front of the golden pedestal and twinge at the sting of that word. In the reflection of the brib she could see herself, bathed in the light of the moon......

That was wonderful! Shadowy with a bit of romance. Very nicely done from her point of view!
