The Last Spartan

Far away in a distant solar system was a planet known as Sparta. It was the 100 centaur of the yarin meaning that in one of the two religions on Sparta ((which was also a religion on their neighbor systems Thebes, Corinth, and Athens)) the feast of the gods. Now the other religion wasn?t as powerful as the other so they were forced to partake in parts of it. The parts forced upon them were being at the great feast and no use of electronics. This other religion though was strangely broadcasted from another system or galaxy unknown to the Spartans, this religion was known as Christianity. ((It?s for the plot, and I?m from this religion so it?s easier for me to write about. If you?re offended I?m sorry))



It is the earth year A.C. 180 yet on Sparta, where our story takes place; it was the first day of the three hundredth galactic yarin ((which is equal to 10 earth months)). For the past three yarin Sparta had been at war with its rival planet Athens. Now the Spartans had the strongest army in the entire galaxy where as Athens had the largest and strongest Navy.



Almost one yarin ago Ike, the strongest Spartan died in combat. Yet he had taken out single handedly the Athenian capital ship the Yammato. He left his newly wed wife ?Cassia- to raise his offspring alone.



Our story begins at a Spartan pregnancy village ((Spartans have those so the women can?t get hurt and the child being made can?t be hurt either))



Cassia looked up at the spring green sky thinking about her late husband, he was kinder than any other man she knew she sighed with contempt and said ?Ti dona atra os sutro Ike, yag ti?ll enkron atray kinda inra ipon.? (I miss you so much Ike yet I?ll raise your child with love.) She began to wonder where she?d be stationed once well enough to go back into the military. When suddenly she felt a sharp pain, it was time her chilled would be born into this world any centon ((which on earth is around 38 minutes)).



Six centons later hospital 320



Cassia held her new son lovingly she stroke his head, he had his fathers emerald eyes, and through those Cassia could see his Fathers Courage. She then spoke to the baby so he could keep his honor ?kinda atray patha kun conel, os ti gon atra het mane fo atray patha, Ike? (child your father was brave, so I give you the name of your father, Ike) Cassia then drifted to sleep from exhaustion.





3 centaur later ((a centaur is equal to a day on earth and Sparta)) Cassia waited nervously waiting for her child to be judged. ((For you see on Sparta the strong live to become warriors, while the weak are used for experiments)). She was so nervous she could have fainted and still shook. As the door opened she shook harder and a million things went through her mind.

A man with dark robes stepped out, and he said in a deep voice ?tin era, era tray kind of si e nena.? (I?m sorry, but your child is a weakling)

With that Cassia broke down into tears and fell to the floor.



1 Centaur later Launch bay ((right before 12 midnight on the planet, because then they?d have to wait another day to launch it))

They had just injected the cerium into little Ike, and were about to launch.

One of the scientists went over to Cassia and said ?yan fin kudu?? (Any last words?)

Cassia then approached the pod which she knew for certain would be her Childs grave, she said unto him ?jibule hena ti?ll ever ipan atra? (what ever happens I?ll always love you.)

With that the pod blasted into space, never to be seen by Cassia again.



Meanwhile in the stars above the Athenian Navy was waiting just out of range of Sparta?s sensors. Six centons later when the holiday began, an officer came up to the primary Admiral of Athens and said ?vey cru ber ven ris? (all ships are ready sir)

The main admiral responded ?lett vey cru xian ot gin red? (let all ships know to open fire)

With that the Navy approached closer to the planet, opened fire and wiped out all life on the planet. Yet unknown to them Spartan blood still existed.





6 days later on earth

A family was admiring their two year old little girl. They didn?t know it yet but something was about to happen that would change the course of history. As they were playing with their little girl she looked up and pointed to something in the sky. The parents looked at the sky in disbelief a meteor was about to crash about 100 yards away from them.

When it crashed the father approached it carefully he went down into the crater and was shocked at what he saw.

His wife called over saying ?what is it john?

Yet she too was shocked at what she saw him carrying out of the crater. A baby boy about no older than a couple weeks. They initially thought that it was someone in the colonies trying to get rid of it, but why.

After some discussion Ike of Sparta would now be known as Triton Bloom, years later Nashi, and then in the year A.C. 195 Trowa Barton.
