Nights of Passion

Nights of passion. That’s what Heero and Relena shared every single time the sun set in West. At precisely 9 pm, when Zechs decided Relena was safe from any conspirator, Heero would climb her walls. It started innocently enough. When Heero first did it, she almost screamed, but stopped herself. They sat there, in silence for about 30 minutes. They took a while to register each other’s face, like it wasn’t already embossed in their mind forever. Then they started talking. She asked about how he’s been, it was 3 years since she last saw him. He discussed how he was a Preventer and complimented the vice-foreign minister on a job well done of keeping peace. She laughed hollowly, saying she’s just stating her ideals, and he stated her ideals were beautiful, in a tone that was final. It was simple, innocent flirtation, inadvertently of course. None of them really expected more from their colloquies, they just enjoyed each other’s companies. Each party secretly mourned for more.
Neither of them knew how each screamed every night, thinking about the last time they were in each other’s arms. How they wished for that kiss. How they wish that Relena wasn’t engaged so they could somehow be together. Yes, Relena was engaged to a fine man, Matt Mendel. She cared for him deeply, loved him like a brother, and was marrying him for some personal enjoyment and to strengthen alliances between the Earth and Space Colonies. They met during some social gathering and became very close.
But after every conversation, they were both insatiable. It was no surprise when they shared that first kiss in each other’s arms. When he laid her down on her canopy bed and made love to her for the first time that night. Every single night, they talked for a bit, then sometimes shared nights of passion. On those nights, they didn’t do anything; they just laid in each other’s arms naked, enjoying how it felt. They talked a bit, like regular people in love. Small jokes about television shows, discussed the affairs of their friends. Sometimes they just didn’t speak at all, they just gently touched each other’s faces. Morning would come, and he would be gone with a simple kiss on the cheek.
Those nights of theirs affected them socially. Heero was more talkative to the pilots, he sometimes chuckled at Duo’s joke. But it was the reverse for Relena, she became more miserable because in 7 months, she was going to marry Matt. But during those conferences when the Preventers would stand guard, Heero and Relena would share secret lover looks, and that seemed to subdue her pain. It was their secret, they both knew they couldn’t continue this sordid affair, but they wanted each other so bad. It was their little secret. Too bad for them, everyone knew.

I dunno it's sort of rushed and I think I reiterated myself too many times... Welperz hope I get some criticism on this.
