Here is something I wrote a while ago...
*Authors Note* I wrote this when I was about 17. I call that time in my life a "phase." I was in love and althought there were some pretty high moments---there was more low points too. I hated myself for being---so--lovesick. (I couldn't think of the right word) But anywho, this was me at my worse:
Why, why must you turn on me with so much betrayal?
You wretched beast inside of me.
I hate you, I curse you; yet I am your poor, sad, slave, and I will always do your bidding.
So defenseless am I against your attack...
Is there no peace from your demands?
Where is my mind? Why can't I feel it? What have you done to it?
Do they know?
I pray not, because...
No one will ever know, no one must know...
That I was betrayed by my own heart.
