Leia, don't stop writing angst. I envy people who can write angst. I can't write angst. I'm way too 'sunny'.
Just a comment, I think it's good that people are expressing their emotions in more creative, non-destructive means like writing. Writing's a form of therapy, I guess. I started writing to cope with a difficult time; I was depressed about life and was having 'mild' suicidal thoughts, and writing was an outlet for me to vent out my frustrations. Writing kept me sane, in a way.
And if anyone of you is depressed or simply discouraged, don't just keep your feelings to yourself. Share your feelings with others. You might be surprised to know just how much they care. XD

Most of my stories are very angsty...but in general I have a very happy person. I dont know it just seems easier to write darker themes because I actually kinda like that style. But I dont really like it when it's just pure angst, I have to put a little bit of humor...or lightheartedness to my angst stories too.
Ok, so he never really said it. It's a quote I made up for when I finally decide to write my Treize fic. ^^;
