Sunny skies, 70 degrees. It?s yet another perfect day here in L5, but of course, we're in a colony. It is yet another day of having to live my perfect existence. I go make public appearances, I smile and make a pretty speech for the camera, and I try to keep these stupid men from killing each other and launching us into another war.

I know if any of my coworkers knew what I was thinking, they would be surprised. I am Relena Darlian, the former Queen of the World and the Vice-Foreign Minister of the ESUN. I am the public face of the government; people look to me to see what is going on in the world. As Une says, I am the world's hope for peace. Frankly, I don't give a damn anymore.

It is the year AC 201 and nothing has changed. Human nature has not changed; people still wish to rule the world. They are power struggles and rumblings, the only difference is that today, the legacy of the gundams is still fresh in peoples' minds. I believe, that in 100 years, there will be yet another Eve War except for this time, it won't end as well as it did this time.

I just don't like how everyone looks to me to keep the peace. People see me as a doll; the Queen of Peace doll! Give her a speech, position her hands this way, do her make up and give her the perfect dress/suit and watch as she keeps everyone calm and everything perfect! But that isn't me!

I am twenty-one years old, I am a young woman. I should be in college now, not helping to run the world. I wish I was like Heero, able to just disappear, but everyone makes sure that I know if I even try to take a 15 minute breather that the world may end.

I feel like a real, living, breathing Mobile Doll that OZ and White Fang used to operate but there is something inside of me that yearns to be free. But I know I will never be free. I will always be the ESUN's Doll to use to keep the people happy. However, I can't help but dream that I'll be free, maybe just for one day or for 30 minutes someday soon.
