"So Relena, I could change all of this right now. All you have to do it say yes." said Jacob as he got down on his knee and pulled out the ring again.
"I decline."
Jacob stood back up and snapped his fingers. Two big guys came and grabbed Relena and held her arms out so that she was spread out.
"I'm sorry to hear that Relena." he pulled out at gun and aimed it at her head. It had a laser point and the little red dot was on her forehead. "Because now you have to die."
Relena stood tall and proud even though she was screaming inside.
There was a bang and Relena closed her eyes. She opened her eyes slowly and thought she was dead until she saw Jacob on the floor, covering his bloody hand while Heero had his gun still pointed at where Jacob's gun used to be.
"Heero!" Relena tried to run but the guards held onto her.
Heero just ignored her and kept his eyes on the enemy.
"Heero you son of a bitch!"
There was another shot and Jacob fell over in pain as Heero shot his knee.
"I would watch your language if I were you." he said very coldly.
Relena could tell that there was something wrong with Heero. For one, it was his eyes, they were different. It was almost as if...
"Oh god no. Heero!"
He still ignored her.
She cried. "He's turned back into...him."
About five guards came up and brought they're guns up to Heero's head. He just smirked and did a backflip in the air. He landed outside the circle and knocked one of the guards on the neck. It took awhile for the others to figure out what was going on but when they did, it was too late. Heero did a back kick and hit a guard and swung around again and knocked another guy out. A guard shot him in the leg but it felt nothing to Heero. He took his gun and shot the two guards left. "Five down, one left to go."
Jacob glared at Heero.
"You picked the wrong guy to mess with, Jacob."
"Hah." he stood up. "Okay Heero, lets do this. We fight until the end like gentlemen and who ever wins, gets the girl."
Something inside Heero clicked. 'Relena!'
NO! No! You can't think about her now! Look how far we have gone already without you caring about that. We can deal with the girl later but right now, finish the enemy!
'Right.'
"Well Heero, I'm waiting for an answer." Jacob said as he went over to Relena and kissed her cheek and she shuddered.
Heero felt himself get raged up inside but showed nothing outside which scared Relena. Did everything he said back inside the cell mean nothing?
Heero pulled out his gun and clicked it a Jacob."No, I'm just going to kill you no matter what."
He shot Jacob on his arm. He winced. First his hand, then his knee, and now his arm.
"Ugh." he brought his hands. "Alright you win, just please, don't hurt me anymore." he said in a pleading voice. "I lose..you..win."
You can't trust him
"Hmm..."
"Heero.."
Heero finally took in the time to look at Relena but then groaned when he felt Jacob stab him in his arm with a knife.
Kill him!
Heero did an uppercut and knocked Jacob back down. He had blood dripping down his nose and was now completely helpless. Heero grabbed his arm and felt himself already fainting. He pulled the gun up to Jacob's head and saw Jacob wimper.
"Your pathetic!"
"Heero stop!" shouted Relena.
"Stay out of this." he shouted back. He glared at Jacob with his death glare.
"Please Heero. Don't kill me. I'm really sorry." cried Jacob.
"I have every right to kill you right now!" he clicked his gun.
"Heero stop this now!" Relena ran towards Heero and pushed his gun down right before he shot. There was a hole in the ground about 3 feet away from Jacob's head.
"Relena what the hell are you doing?"
"This isn't the Heero I know. The real Heero would never kill someone who begged for their life."
She's getting in the way!
"The real Heero isn't here right now." he brought his gun back up to Jacob and Relena did the only thing that she could do. She slammed her lips on to his and this took him by surprise. She kissed him so hard that they fell backwards. They finally broke away, needing air.
There is nothing I can do now. Good bye Heero.
Zero finally left Heero for good.
"Re..Relena."
"Heero. Is this the real Heero?"
He smiled and kissed her again. Jacob took this time to try to get away but the doors swung open with a troop of preventers with Lady Une leading the way.
"Jacob Mcguire, you are hear by under arrest."
Preventers came and handcuffed Jacob. Duo came in with the others. He had a bandage around his head. The guards dragged Jacob out but Duo stopped them.
"Wait." he kneed him in the crotch and Jacob groaned. Duo smiled. "Okay you can take him away now."
The others came over to Heero and Relena and Duo laughed.
"Heero you dog! You two were kiddnapped and here you are making out?"
Hilde slapped his head. Trowa helped Heero up and Hilde helped Relena up.
"You guys okay?"
"Hn.."
"I"m fine. Just a little sore. How did you guys know where we were?"
"Well, Duo got knocked out in your parking lot but followed the car that took you guys away." said Hilde as she kissed a really smiling Duo.
"Don't you guys love me or what?"
"No."
Duo pouted at Heero. "I just saved you! How come you don't love me?"
"You took to long to get here."
Everyone laughed.
"You guys better go check yourselves out at the hospital." said Quatra.
Heero started to sway back and forth.
"I think..that is..a..good.." he never got to finish his sentence because he fainted.
three weeks later
Relena was sitting in the cafe having lunch with Dorothy.
"I was just about to go to sleep when I hear the doorbell ring, so me and Quatra get out of bed and go downstairs. It was fricken three in the morning and guess who we found at the door?"
"Who?"
Dorothy took a sip of her drink. "Duo."
"Oh no, not again?"
"Yes again. It seems that this time Duo was caught looking at the wrong kind of magazines at the wrong time."
Relena laughed. "So Dorothy, what was it that you wanted to tell me so badly?"
"Well.." She showed her left hand at Relena which now had a diamond ring around it.
"Oh my god! Quatra asked you to marry him?"
"Yup. I know it sounds crazy and all since he was still mad at me but I told you, if I got closer to him then he would change and look at us now."
Relena smiled. "Speaking of Quatra."
In came Quatra and Heero who noticed the girls right away and joined them. Quatra sat next to Dorothy while Heero sat next to Relena.
"How many times did I tell you not to go anywhere without me?" said Heero.
Relena rolled her eyes. "Heero give me a break. So Quatra, congratulations."
Quatra blushed. "Thanks."
They spent the rest of the time eating lunch and then Dorothy and Quatra had to leave for home so it was now just Heero and Relena.
"So Heero, what should we do now?"
"Well..." he grabbed her hand.
"Relena, you are the most amazing person that I have ever met. Even if you don't listen to me and stay put, I still love you."
She laughed.
"And because I love you very much, I want to ask you this." He went into his breast pocket and pulled out a velvet box and opened it to revel a ring.
People around them stopped eating and watched.
"Relena..will you marry me?"
She cried and nodded. "Yes of course. You are the only person that I want to marry."
People cheered and he got up and hugged her and gave her a kiss.
Now he could follow her around and she wouldn't complaine.
