*pokes* Oh lovely moderator you! *pokes* GIMME! I want an ItaSaku fix!!! (Sakura is my whore I say!!!)

Actually I just started reading Naruto fanfiction and one of my second fic's had SasuSaku but I just didn't like the way it ended. Normally I can deal with unhappy endings but this one, just, I dunno bugged me or something. So far, all the Sasuke's I've read are complete assholes. It kinda reminds me of when Heero was first written about. I no likey. Sure the dude can be an ass but that's not all he is.

I think NaruSaku is possible too but of course less likely and, as you said Cheryl, the need to be done right. Honestly, and don't hate me for admitting this, but after NaruHina I can seriously see (animewise thus far--I'm going to watch eps 76-78 in a few minutes) NejiHina. Yes I know of their relation but a part of me wonders if inbreeding isn't done in that family anyway with all the white eyes they have (NOTE: I have not gotten into the manga). Right now I don't see Neji as a male who sees any female on his level, and the one person that could <i>possibly</i> come close is Hinata if only she were more skilled. I see him relating to her on many levels but would never admit it because he's a proud prick, I mean guy. It may be a one sided thing on Neji's part, but I see a possibility.

I also see both Kiba and Shino falling for Hinata because she isn't the type to judge others and would be a willing listener who would do her best to understand both boys. During their time in the Forest of Death (Chuunin Exam), Hinata did her best to keep the peace between the boys and I see another possibility for infatuation at the very least occur.

Heehee.... In a way I seriously wouldn't mind seeing a well written fic that is ChoujiIno (even though I believe in the ShikaIno). I think in all honesty it'd be cute. Hooray for big boned people!!! Who get the popular girl in the end. ~_^

KakashiSakura (I can't shorten his name to Kaka...it's WRONG) is another one I kinda like. I dunno I just love the scene of him pseudo-straddling her in the stands when the Sound attack. Just him, "Sakura, stay that way while I [kick Sound ninja ass]." But overall, single Kakashi does rock.

Yeah I think even in the Naruto world I'm a pairing heretic. Sheesh.... Thank goodness Rose isn't into Naruto. Imagine the things I'd have to do in order to keep from becoming the nest SINNER.

Well, Sasuke is kinda... asshole-ish in the current manga arc right now. I think part of the reason is because he took Orochimaru's wha-cha-ma-call-it pill and as a result, his mind is even more screwed than before. But I have faith in him! I believe that he will one day turn back to the Sasuke that I adored once upon a time!

And honestly, I feel the same way about NejiHina. As far as I'm concerned, there were a lot of marriages between cousins in Asian families, at least back in the old times. So I'm not completely opposed to the idea of NejiHina. And now that he does recognize Hinata as the Hyuuga heir, there can be a lot of possibilies! *tries to wipe NejiHina scenario she had in mind*

I think I like KibaHina a bit more than ShinoHina because there's Akamaru.

What's cuter than the two going out on a date and having Akamaru barking advice to Kiba as to what to do next with the girl of his dreams?

KakaSaku... as much as I love Kakashi, I'm a bit hesitant on them because I just can't get over the 14 years of difference. I tried, but I just can't.

And Ino... I have mixed feelings about her. I like her character for the comedy purpose but I dislike the way she handled her friendship with Sakura. (Unlike many others, I tend to think both Sakura and she were at fault for the breakup for their friendship. And from the way I interpret things, she was at more fault for she gave up on Sakura because of her pride while Sakura gave up on her because of betrayal.) I'm also a bit hesitant on reading fics between her and Shikamaru because I don't think she understands him at all. (See the Shika vs Temari fight. She scoffed at Chouji for not understanding Shikamaru. But all along, she was the one who doesn't understand Shikamaru.)

Hehe. And I actually tried to get Rose to watch Naruto. But she didn't fall for my baits (aka. doujinshi scans).

Though I caught a lot of other big fishies!!! There's Lars, Coley and AoD! Mwahahaha!

I love Ino/Shikamaru but Temari/Shikamaru works out nicely. With Kakashi and Sakura, usually I try not to read too much of it because of their fourteen year difference, but there are a few fics that really make it work. Like fanartist and baseix- their works are brilliant. I just don't like it when it reads like pedophilia.

Usually I steer away from incest but there is something about Neji/Hinata that workds for me. That I do like Kiba/Hinata much more.

I wonder what Sakura is doing now in the manga?

Seriously, there is nothing I see wrong with the 14 year old difference. Granted I don't want to read a Kakashi/Sakura fic where he "makes her a woman" on her 13th birthday or anything (mainly because we all know he would NEVER do that but also because then he would seriously be a perv) but I could see something happening between them when she hits that sweet sixteen. Age difference don't bug me so long as they're written in that mature, believable manner. But again, dude needs to wait at least four years before making that girl bloom.

*chuckles at Cheryl because she still refuses to believe she giggles* Yeah it'd be nice to read a fic, or have it alluded to in the anime/manga that Sasuke locks the two of them up and makes like rabbits. Of course this would be after he tightened his loose screws. Otherwise the girl may as well have fun with Gaara. Or Itachi.

*tries to play NejiHina scenario back in Cheryl's head* Give in to it woman! Just give in! I have and I won't look back. *still doesn't like TenTen or get NejiTen*

And do forgive me everyone. Really I must ask for forgiveness. While watching the eps 76-80, and Naruto's "flashback" to being recognized by his two sensei's (Iruka, Kakashi) and his two teammates a naughty thought occurred. Yes indeed it did. It's the shot where the four aforementioned are waiting for Naruto to catch up to their little group and Sakura is bending slighty forward cupping her hands around her mouth with Iruka behind her.... "Sakura my dear, I have claimed you as my Naruto fiction whore. I plan on making you do lots of things with a lot of the male cast. However I just find it strange and almost teasing of you to bend forward in front of Iruka-sensei." Now I don't claim to like this pairing and I don't think I've ever seen it, I'm just saying it flashed through my mind right quick. That's all. I mean I didn't really think up any scenarios or anything. I just...thought the girl was...y'know...a tease.

Okay back to our regularly scheduled program!!! *nervously laughs*

Okay, first off, I have to announce that I'm going to steer away from posting non-fanfiction links on this forum because this is a Naruto fanfiction forum, not a general Naruto chat forum. So for those who wanted links to the Japanese website with Itachi/Sakura fanarts, I've already PM-ed the link to you guys. And for you lurkers out there hiding in the dark, just PM me if you're interested in the link.

Oh, I've seen quite a lot of those. And many of them were written/drawn by fangirls no less.

Also what "bothers" me about KakaSaku is the Sasuke-sacriface. In many KakaSaku fics I've seen, Sasuke is portrayed as a super bastard who will do something hurtful to Sakura and she'll end up seeking comfort from Kakashi. (While yes, Sasuke is a super bastard in the current manga arc now, I will bet my entire doujinshi collection that he will NOT stay that way.) This really isn't too different from the we-sacriface-Sakura-so-Sasuke-and-Naruto-can-be-together fics or even our GW fandom's many we-sacriface-Relena-so-Heero-and-Duo can-be-together fics.

Otherwise, it's simply a pairing, I guess. One that doesn't quite interest me much...

This is the exact reason why I tend to stay away from NejiSaku fics too...

And give it up, Wicked. I'm not a writer. :razz: Pushing ideas back into my head won't work because I won't be able to write them anyways. And I have GOOD reasons to not become a writer. I mean, other than the fact that I don't want to pollute the fandom with badly written fics. Who will be there to whip Winggirl when she gets lazy and doesn't write? *ducks from chair thrown by Winggirl* Who will be there to scout for doujinshi and other goodies when contests roll around? And who will be there to poison non-Naruto fans' minds with cute SasuSaku doujinshi scans? *evil laughter*

And Iruka/Sakura... Ouch... my head hurts...
