Once upon a time, there were two Naruto forum moderators. One moderator said to the other "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if we put out a challenge to get some fanfiction rolling?" (verbatum, seriously ;p) The other moderator, upon hearing this, was struck with a brilliant idea. "I know! We should put out a challenge to inspire some fanfiction!" She was quickly kicked and told to go post this very message.
ANYWHO. All silliness aside, Cheryl and I finally put our heads together and came up wiiiiith-
THE SUPER NARUTO BI-MONTHLY NINJA CHALLENGE OF ULTIMATE POWAH!
That's right. You're going to be getting challenges every two weeks, open to any couple/non yaoi interaction of your choosing. Maybe you're a traditionalist. Maybe you like to mix n' match. Maybe you just wanna see Kakashi do the cancan. Either way, it's all good.
There are no word limits, so don't be afraid to go nuts on it, or contribute just a 100-worder.
The theme can and probably will be anything- a quote, a word, a lyric, maybe even a picture. You can choose to incorperate it in your fic in any way shape or form, be it through visual imagery, the emotion you feel the theme reflects, or hell, actually quoting it. Anywho.
