I'm not here to say what you should or shouldn't write. Writing's an outlet for what you're feeling inside, but I'm feeling that some of you, oh, I dunno...are way beyond sad.
I say this because, in reading recent poems, I've seen some pretty dark things. And every poem by the same authors are so dark. Again, I'm not saying you can't write what you're feeling; it's a very powerful outlet.
But if some of you need to talk, please don't hesitate to e-mail or PM me.
Some of your words are concerning.

I agree with the angst thing, but some of the people here really have been diagnosed with depression, and they simply want to say what they are feeling here. There is a feeling of security in this community. We are, in general, nice to each other and you don't find that a lot in the real world. It feels good to put up work here because you know no one is going to be stupid or insensitive, they will only give constructive criticism. It is comforting that people like you are willing to talk, but really that's what we are doing already.

My gushyness! i had no idea this place was so warm! with this and the response of my poem, i finally feel i have a place to vent artisticaly. Whether or not anyone takes up the offer to talk about "it" i think it's great just to know someone's concerned in a caring sort of way. this world (or at least this forum) is such a glorious place! ::tear:: 
Of course i'm out of my mind, it's dark and scary in there.

I was always way too hesitent to put any of my stuff up here but after I finally got the guts to do so it was a big weight lifted, and I feel like I can write about most anything here.

I was assuming that people WERE using an outlet...ie writing about it. I can't recollect saying that anyone was doing anything WRONG; merely that I was concerned, and if anyone needed to talk, I was here.
If it's pointless angst, that's one thing, but I never mentioned that, anyway. I was never saying anyone was wrong and made it a point to state that in my comment. Thank you for understanding.
