I think I can help you with that, the outbox is used to save messages you want to send later and the sendbox show all the messages you've sent to people.Not sure, but I think that's the difference

actually, the outbox is a list of messages that you've sent but haven't been read yet by the recipient. The sent boax is of all the messages you've sent and have been read.
